It’s amazing. In the space of about a week, I’ve gone from being caught up on everything I needed to do, to feeling like I’m so far behind, I’ll never get caught up. It’s not a feeling I enjoy, and this time of the semester always has me questioning my decision to go back to school. Sometimes I think I’m getting too old for this shit. Oh well, at least things are going great in the rest of the world.
Can it be? Suzie’s First! :nixon::joe::banana:

Every time Riley has Reich on his show we get some more indications that there is something seriously wrong with the unemployment numbers but no one ever tries to see how we can maybe get a better handle on what they really are. There is a direct relationship between the number of workers, their wages and things like federal revenue and social security.. The thugs want us to think that the unemployment figures are like 4% but all the indicators have it at 5 times that number.. What was it in 1933 ??
One thing about having a FAUX news anchor for press secretary is that it can be predetermined that everything he says will be a lie.. Scottie some times snuck in something true.. I think.. once… maybe..??
Not really…but he looked nervous while he was telling his lies as opposed to pompous…
the economics of deception…I do believe there’s something wrong with the unemployment numbers.
There are so many of these “illegals” in the country with fake Id’s how will they ever.
1. Find them
2. Round them up
3. Deport them without them just coming back the next day.
huh? cyndi lauper? what about the issues!
fred #5 :rofl2:
Re #3 When we impeach assbite, can’t we then have congress give everyone “sanctuary” and have all unemployed come back and apply for a ongoing stipend; paid by Congress thus being paid by rethugs and bush ONLY or by their benefits (rethugs and bush) since we do not have universal healthcare. Why should we pay for bush and rethugs errors? But so many have to be counted and help ASAP:!:

Corporations are not the only ones to blame for hiring illegal immigrants. There is a whole class of Americans that consider themselves wealthy because they hire undocumented workers at reduced wages to care for their kids, landscape their yards, take care of their house, etc. They need to start paying a living wage (along with corporations) to americans that are now out of work. A lot of these people consider themselves righteous christians, too. I know some of them.
If 40% of the illegals came here on work or tourist visa’s to start with they didn’t have to worry about any fence.. I hope those guys survey their fence well the Mexican government might not take kindly to any more territory being lost.
private fences? hmmmmm maybe we can build fences on the other side of the minute men to keep them out!
If private fences catch on we can build one just outside the beltway in DC.. Then the thugs and the lobbyists will all be where we want them.
Some people have suggested building a fence around Tancredo’s congressional district.
:jason:just build it around the capitol police then we can issue permits for open season on lobbyists!
From what I have seen lobbyists are to high in fat content to be good to eat and all that green stuff they have stuffed in their pockets makes them stringy.
Random quickie thoughts:
1) Melina, thanks for the egg. It’s adorning the wall of my cubicle.
2) Congrats Suzie on first!
3) Let the Minutemen build the wall if they think they can do it. Those lardass fascists will have more heart attacks than Cheney. And most of the EMTs who will attempt to revive them will probably be Hispanic.

I’m not surprised, having taught 3rd grade (8 year olds) for 5 years, at anything they do. Some of them can be innocent but many are not. Still, this kid sounded very short…
I wonder if somebody would be willing to put up a fence between me and my crazy next door neighbor? I would prefer wood, and will settle for 6 feet high, but would be more than happy to go with 12 feet or higher. No razor wire (I don’t wanna hurt the squirrels).

Juan Cole is anti-semitic?:rofl2: Oh this sort of thing is to be expected.
I am going to see Jandek tonight.
Juan Cole is a powerful writer, speaker, and influential blogger – no wonder they want to get him. And of course it’s always the left who are supposedly trying to stop “conservative free speech” on capuses, but of course when talented liberals speak, we can’t have that. So just play the false criticize Israel = antisemitism card, that actually works well for these people.
Outsider music is music performed either by social outsiders, who have no or few associates in the mainstream music business, or by musicians who choose to live and work in seclusion, often due to compromising behavioral or psychological conditions. Outside music reflects these conditions in various ways. Lyrics are often bizarre or emotionally stark and songs show a great ignorance or disregard for structural conventions or popular trends in mainstream music. Also, outsider musicians frequently have no formal training and/or significant music skills in the traditional sense. The end result is music that is much stranger and more abrasive than more popular musical styles. Outsider music is a form of outsider art.
Mystery and music go so well together…
That card tends to work well throughout the cultural spectrum. Less so now than before. Emanates from the top.
The Space Lady is San Francisco’s most enchanting street musician. Whether on keyboard or accordion, her music stops sidewalk traffic even in this multi-task town. Contrary to this dramatic photo taken on Market Street near Castro, the Space Lady usually performs wearing a whimsical steel helmet with angel wings, which makes her easy to recognize but belies the credibility of her haunting vocal interpretations of well known songs. Mister SF always requests Time After Time or Spanish Harlem. A San Francisco favorite is Over the Rainbow, of course.
Have you seen her perform?
YES.:omg:
kay…
NickiRose, I remember her. Are you still in The City?
I’ve never been to San Francisco 🙁
April 22nd is Earth Day. Think anybody still remembers what that means and when it started?
Hey everyone! A wonderful morning on the phone to the cable company about my computer and then on with linksys…but I got almost everything fixed …and got the old laptop on the internet….but I am still on the driver trail for so many things….
I think that my weakness is in software, not hardware. I can take the things apart and put them together again but I need a good guide or instructions on figuring out how to find out what needs drivers and how this whole software thing works anyway!
Seanie! Cyndi Lauper has a new record and a record of standards so she oculd very well have a hit. The standards are not exactly all standards and she does some interesting covers of pretty good songs. Its not exactly what I listen to these days but it made a good gift to my pilates instructor….also the old songs done acoustically are pretty good.
I like her…
So whats happening today in the world?
Ive been buried in plumbers (I broke a pipe being “handy”) and computer tech….
I managed not to get the last 2 night’s shows…and maybe only half of Mondays.
Ill have to look at minova and see what I can get.
PJ- I know the feeling exactly and it comes at around this time. Its that too much to do adult returning student syndrome. When I get that I just stop looking at the whole picture and put my head down and look at the take in front of me and only look at one thing at a time….if you can plow through things without focusing on the big picture, its less daunting. Of course, you have to rank things on importance first…
God, Hi was telling me last night, after our big talk about how society is gonna fall apart and what if I have to flee the country after China and Russia get together and take over…that I really should start grad school as soon as I think that Will is OK and stable enough without me totally involved in his school and all….yeah, right…he was upset when I took up Spanish again last semester at the local high school.
And I keep remembering how overwhelmed I was just slowly finishing college…I just dont know if I want to go there.
I guess HI feels like if you get a masters in teaching then you’ll “have what to do.”…heh…
If he only knew how complicated my life is lately.
Seanie- for you: Cyndi
The loveliness of Paris seems somewhat sadly gay.
The glory that was Rome is of another day.
I feel terribly alone,
and forgotten in Manhatten.
(I use to say LA, when I was at school)
I’m going home to my city my the bay.
I left my heart in San Francisco.
High on a hill, It calls to me.
To be where little cable cars climb halfway to the stars.
The morning fog may chill the air, I don’t care.
My love waits there in San Francisco.
Above the blue and windy sea.
When I come home to you, San Francisco,
Your golden sun will shine for me.
Well, Earth Day is the day before my birthday, so Ive always been very aware of it…and in Brooklyn where I grew up, the bohemian crowd of arty folk always had street fairs and educational stuff goign on.
One year we bought eggs of lady bugs and praying manti.
My Mom put them on the shelf over the sink and forgot them, of course, and they hatched suddenly one evening, causing my MOm to run outside with the eggs screaming, just as our neighbor and the CEO of Brooklyn Academy of Music, was having a fancy schmancy cocktail hour in her perfect attached little garden. We had all these alley cats that we fed and bottles of bugs and stuff and then here comes my MOm waving this egg thing around which disperses hundreds of ladybugs onto this fancy crowd!! Very funny!!
Kevin- did I send you an egg?…Im having a mind blip and I cant remember what Ive sent anyone…but maybe it was a link?
Did I tell you guys that Dowd is up on RIPCoco?….
Ive got to shower and get moving…too much time invested in the computer and then instead of sitting down and doing work, Im blogging until the moment I have to leave!!
Heres a couple of letters from the Times regarding that Dowd column:
April 20, 2006
Rumsfeld and Iraq: A Lingering Question (2 Letters)
To the Editor:
Re “The Decider Sticks With the Derider” (column, April 19):
There’s a conundrum hidden within Maureen Dowd’s column about the failure of Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld. It’s one I’ve been puzzling over since the Bush administration began its drumbeat for war in Iraq.
There is now considerable evidence — from Richard A. Clarke, the former counterterrorism adviser, former Treasury Secretary Paul O’Neill and other former members of the administration — to support Ms. Dowd’s statement that Mr. Rumsfeld “wanted to invade Iraq because he thought it would be easy.”
But if Mr. Rumsfeld and his colleagues truly believed that Iraq possessed weapons of mass destruction, how easy could the invasion be?
Common sense suggests only one answer: We invaded Iraq not because we thought Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction, but because we thought he didn’t.
The administration would like us to think that it was simply mistaken about the threat posed by Saddam Hussein; but that’s yet another lie, and perhaps the biggest one of all.

To the Editor:
Re “Here’s Donny! In His Defense, a Show Is Born” (front page, April 19):
“I’m the decider, and I decide what’s best” — all the ill-advised, reckless, arrogant foolishness and tragedy of the Bush administration summed up in a single quotation.
Direct, concise and evocative, this sentence forever puts to rest any criticism that George W. Bush does not possess a command of the language. Robert A. Stein

And PJ THX  for all you have done for us MSists, if this is our last “stream” 😉
Last stream???HUh, Druid? What does that mean?
:yawn:I think she meant last thread for TMMS.
Yeah, it just seems silly to put up a separate thread for the show if there’s only going to be a couple of posts during it. Maybe if the show ever gets syndicated at an earlier time on a station that’s got a stream, we can try it again, but for now all the “live” action is over at TMMS blog.
Oh, by the way, I added the first round NBA playoff games that will mess with the show (I assume KTLK will carry the playoff games).
Next week’s Monday and Thursday shows will be knocked back at least an hour, and if more than four games are necessary, the following Mon and Thurs will potentially cause problems, too.
Let’s just hope Denver wins the series so we don’t have to worry about the Clippers until next season.
Thanks for the Open Threads, PJ. :fist:
I think that most people that blog here are on the East Coast and their schedules aren’t really meshing with the time slot for TMMS.
:rofl2::tongue::banana::yinyang::nixon: Morning all (or any) from little Beirut. Thought last night’s show was a good ‘un.
Is it Rove’s time, finally?
Yeah, I know Fitz will come up with something 🙂 I knew it as soon as I saw him on TV earlier this year. You could see that man doesn’t quit.
When they rounded up the immigrants, I said nothing because I wasn’t an illegal…
When they disappeared all the demonstrators I said nothing because I never participated in that stuff anyway…
When they started arresting members of the opposition party, I said nothing because I don’t like politics and have no party
affiliation…
When they came for the bloggers and alternative media people, I said nothing because I figured they knew the risks…
and when they finally knocked on my door I said “there must be some mistake,” to which one Blackwater Security thug laughingly responded: “Oh, there’s been a mistake alright, and YOU made it.” Sadly, I knew he was right.
Plagiarized from someones comment on RawStory.
youre kidding right? why would our leaders go and depose someone they wish they could be more like!
‘cuz Nepal would be easy to knock off, and they need an easy win right about now. Of course, China just might have an itsy-bitsy problem with it.
lol did you hear they played bluegrass for the chinese guy that came to washington!

I meant that “Decider” link you posted on yesterday’s thread. I like the picture because it depicts the only circumstance under which Bush would ever be considered an egghead.

Not to mention Stephanie Miller played part of the song on her show today. That, and the Scott McClellan audio where his voice cracks when he says Tel Aviv. They could hear me laughing two rows over.

Hehe 🙂 That made me giggle. I am at work on a computer I’m not supposed to be on, so I’ve got to go…see you guys tonight though
Congress is now pushing through a law that would end the concept of “net neutrality,” in effect ceding control of the Internet to giant companies who want to charge a premium for “preferred” treatment of web traffic.
The rationale for compaines like Verizon and ATT is that, in order to offer guaranteed, priority delivery of things like VoIP or video traffic, they need to be able to charge more, in order to justify investing in their current networks.
In reality, this has the potential to turn the Internet into a pay-to-play bastion of infomercials and highest-bidder propaganda, in effect ruining it for everybody else, including nonprofits, online activists, Google users, Ipod listeners, small businesses, economic innovators, bloggers, alternative news seekers, the family that wants to put their photos up to share with grandma, you name it.
Politicians don’t think we’re paying attention, and that we’re probably too stupid to understand it anyway. I think most of them are too stupid to get it, frankly, but they’re not too stupid to accept money from the telecom lobbyists that are pushing hard on this issue.
There’s an article from the New Yorker with more information here, and MoveOn has a petition you can sign, if you’re so inclined.
I’m going to sue that letter writer to the Times [via Melina] for copyright infringement – i’ve been pointing this out to people since we invaded Iraq in 2003, that the whole WMD cover story makes no damn sense.
Reconcile this if you can:
The people who were most in favor of invasion, and who helped sell it, were neo-cons, some Jewish, some not, who wanted Saddam deposed because — amongst other things — he was a threat to Israel.
These same people lied, or exaggerated the evidence that Saddam had WMDs, either the beginnings of a nuclear program or chemical/bio weapons. They claim that this was a truthful position on their part.
So why is this a good reason to invade with troops? Wouldn’t a mad dictator, on the threshhold of being removed from power, fire off all his weapons, especially the WMDs?
And who was he likely to fire them at, the Albanians? The only target that Hussein had any chance of hitting was Israel, possibly with some of those scuds that we lied about knocking down with raytheon anti-missiles last time. Th Israelis know the truth about the Raytheons, and were not fooled.
One primitive chemical or bio weapon could have done horrible damage to a country as small as Israel.
So, we have got to believe that all of these Likud sympathizers, who say that they dearly love Israel, were itching for the US to launch an invasion that greatly imperiled Israel. Does this make any sense? Why should we believe that the Libbys, the Franklins, the Wolfies et al really had any good faith belief in the existence of WMD’s under this scenario?
So anyway, I’m going to sue.
Hey All,
I have thus far survived the hellacious weather of the past few days here in steamy Birmingham, Alabama. The heart of Bush Country! 🙁
My “F the President” sticker remains firmly affixed to the rear window of my car. So to is the scratch on the hatch thanks to some Bush cRaZy! The price we pay for free speech I guess. I’ll keep the scratch as a badge of honor. Knowing that I’ve pissed off Bush ppl puts a 🙂 on my face!
FYI or otherwise Maron affected ppl: Did you know? If you own a copy of Replay AV, [http://www.applian.com/index.php] you can download Marc’s show for free. Open Replay AV and click on the “Media Guide” button. At the bottom half of the Media page look for “Podcast Search,” click the button. Under “Podcast Name” search “Marc Maron.” A page will load revealing an archive of prior shows as well as the most current show. Click the “DLOAD” or the “ITUNES” button to download the show into your computer. You can only save this to your drive if you OWN a copy of Replay AV. I haven’t tied Replay Radio. You can listen to the show from this site even if you do not own a copy of Replay. Check it out.
Well guys and gals I’ve been enjoying the shows. Uploading a few to my site. Spending a bit of money on geek stuff. Two Apple Air Express’. One for the Living Room so I can stream Itunes to my stereo receiver. One to Jeremy’s Room so I can rid us of wires and ethernet routers! My state tax refund showed up in my checking account on Tuesday. Now if my Federal refund will do the same I’ll be set to pay off some credit card debt. I looked longingly at Plasma TV’s knowing that I could easily afford one with my Federal refund. But that would mean I’d still be a prisoner of the credit card companies so I’m resisting the urge.
My boyfriend is really confusing me. Do I have a boyfriend or not? He sent me an email yesterday responding to an email I’d sent him asking when he would be returning to the states? So he says: “How do you know that I’m not in Birmingham?” “Hmm . . .” (I thought) So if he’s in Birmingham why doesn’t he come see me? This is trying my patience. I’m about to go out on the prowl and find his replacement! Damnit. Yes, my life is like a soap opera. This love thing is way to complicated for me. A good fuck might be better.
So much for my fucked up life. How are you guys doing? Enjoy the time we have left. I donno what will get us first, global warming or Christo fascists. Marc’s guest in last nights show has me worried. Hillary may have had it half right . . . not just a right-wing conspiracy, but a theocratic one too. Enjoy your freedom while you can!
😮
On foreign policy, Democrats would have you believe that Bush is the most reckless President and that he has ripped the United States away from a tradition of cooperative diplomacy by violently overthrowing governments.
But as former New York Times reporter Steven Kinzer points out, the opposite is true.
Bush is actually following and escalating a long-established tradition.
Beginning with the ouster of Hawaii’s monarchy in 1893, the United States government has not hesitated to overthrow governments – fourteen by Kinzer’s count – that stood in the way of its political and economic goals.
One example from the fourteen: Fifty-three years ago, the United States launched Operation Ajax to overthrow the democratically elected leader of Iran – Mohammed Mossadegh.
Now it looks like Bush is preparing for Iran again. . .

Well, if anybody is very bored, I put up a few pictures from my morning walk with the dog.

The Authority to Kill
Diane Christian
Human sacrifice is generally contemned. People regard the Aztec practice of plucking a heart from a victim’s chest and offering it to the sun god to maintain cosmic order as barbarous. But humans clearly have a taste for it. Today’s news tells that in two Baghdad elementary schools militants broke in and slaughtered teachers in front of their students.
War is human sacrifice, as is capital punishment. Basically human sacrifice is simply killing for a socially justified reason.
That socially justified reason is what ‘sacrifice’ signals: making holy, organizing the killing as something good not bad. The Aztec priest, the militant, the nation, the state, act as agents of their societies. They organize the deaths into sacred stories which supposedly transcend sadism, terror, and vengeance.
The same person who rejects Aztec sacrifice might well accept Abrahamic. In Genesis a story sacred to Judaism, Christianity and Islam has Abraham obey God by binding his son for sacrifice and raising the cleaver to kill him. (In Jewish and Christian tradition this is Isaac, son of Sarah; in Islamic tradition this is Ishmael, firstborn of Abraham and son of Hagar, Sarah’s Egyptian servant.) God prevents the killing but blesses Abraham for his willingness to sacrifice his beloved son to God. . .

Want to have a good giggle? Go to the knuckle-dragging right winger’s site freerepublic.com and find the article on the poll done by Fox where Bush racked up a princely 33% approval rate, and check out the hysterical comments!
Ooh, there’s panic in the Fuhrerbunker tonight! The Russians are at the gates!
I’m a bit giddy because my pro-war Dem congressperson Nita Lowey has finally seen the light, and has today come out in support of Walter Jones’ [R – Freedom Fries] resolution for a congressional debate on Iraq. Since Lowey is one of the largest recipients of AIPAC contributions, this is a huge crack in the wall. Instead of one of my usual nasty e mails, i sent her a big wet sloppy kiss. If your congressperson has signed on to this resolution, you should do the same [an e mail, not a kiss] although for the life of me i don’t understand why the democrats don’t all do the obvious and just support Murtha’s plan.
Awwwh! PJ those are great photies:billcat:
I wasn’t really bored at all.
Spring has really popped in Seattle- wish I could show pictures…
Very nice, PJ. I love looking at photos. Siggy is lucky to have such a nice area to explore. I love the picture of the kitties (the ones that love you best?). Looks like they found the very best spot on the sofa and made it their own.
Anyone listening to Gary Hart criticizing the Democrats for capitulating to Bush on the war?
Randi is such an apologist for them.
“If the Democrats cannot put in the work, then they should not be senators.”
Gary Hart
The Dems did not ask questions. No presure through going on Russert’s show…….
We have no opposition party!:omg:
I had to turn off the interview. I get so embarrassed for Randi. I hope Brendan “PW” can really help her with her interviewing skills. I want her to do better
New detention camps not just for Immigrants and Muslims
Not that George W. Bush needs much encouragement, but Sen. Lindsey Graham suggested to Attorney General Alberto Gonzales a new target for the administration’s domestic operations — Fifth Columnists, supposedly disloyal Americans who sympathize and collaborate with the enemy.
http://www.alternet.org/rights/32647
—————–
I wonder when support for the enemy will include anyone not supporting the Reich wing policies ??
Technically, I find Randi Rhodes to be a good interviewer. But who am I?
I would stutter and ask the questions badly if I were to conduct a radio interview.
:omg:
I am a 5th Columnist! Graham is such a power-sucking twerp!
Anybody remember the movie “All Through the Night”?
Peter Lorre and Conrad Veidt are “Fivers”!:omg:
Rhodes likes to hear herself talk.. Even when she had Howard Dean on she talked more than he did. She seems to want to show off how much she knows and that she’s dam proud of it.:fustrate::doh::spank:
Are these DHS PSA’s subbing for the periodic terra alerts we had up until the 2004 election.?? .. Why are they on AAR stations ?? Are we supposed to prepare for a flue Pandemic or the possibility that Bush will cause Russia and/or China to blow us off the face of the earth ?
great pictures, pj! no wonder Siggy cops an attitude if you don’t take him out. So weird to see your landscape – all the trees have leaves around here now. We are bright green with blooming flowers. (not so good for those with allergies, though).
As soon as the dems say anything that opposes the Bush regime policies they get assassinated by the Reich wing media.. mean while the Reich wing continues to blow their feet off one by one so I think the dems see no point in countering the Reich. By November the Dems hope that the Reich will be a bloody mess in a pile on the floor. If the Reich blow up IRAN in the mean time we all might be in a bloody mess on the floor.
i love this headline!
Clippers beat Mavericks 85-71 in meaningless season-ending yawner
Yeah, and there’s actually water that doesn’t have blocks of ice floating on it. And the grass is freakin’ green, man.:yuck:Green!
Let me find a pic. Just, ah, wait a sec. Anchortown!
Here we go 😯
Oh, um, how about a different perspective😯
So Rhodes is pushing for a Coup ???? How does one encourage such a thing.. ?? . It says somewhere in the constitution that the public can petition for a change in government.. I think :fustrate::omg:
Corporations and their infrastructure call the shots. Faux news is merely flak. If the Dems were legitimate, they would blow the Faux paper boats out of the water.
From what I read almost no one watches the cable news channels. In the 1960’s something like 50 million people watched Walter Cronkite today less than 8 million watch FAUX and they are in fifth place among the cable channels. Maybe Americans like to live in ignorance
If we have a Coup do we get to send emails to our General instead of our congress person or senator. ??
i notice that Big Eddy seems to get more dem “leaders” on his program than anyone on AAR does.. Ed is not a lefty but a right of centerist so that may indicate the dems are more comfortable with him. If the dems really wanted to say something how would they get the message out, fax it to the local party offices and have it posted on the side of traffic cabinets. ??
Raandi is calling for aa military coup?:omg:
MySpace!:omg: Be careful what you write in public.
:fu:FBI! :fu:CIA! :fu:KKK! No fascist USA!
THURSDAY 4/20
JANDEK to Play Portland
(Hollywood Theatre, 4122 NE Sandy) Jandek’s not for everybody. Playing songs while beating on one harsh, sharp, out-of-tune chord while howling weird, deathly gravediggers’ blues is not for everybody. Hiring people that’ve never played drums before to drum on your records is not for everybody. Rhyming non sequiturs and spoken vocals are not for everybody. Spooky, rural folk put into Asian song structure is for damn sure not for everybody. But goddamnit it’s for me. And maybe it’s for you too. To hell with the great, proverbial “everybody” anyway. I started today with no connection to the internet and my setting scrambled on my router….and dealt all day with strange happenings on my phone, then found that on my kid’s desktop the browser had been hijacked. It was hijacked so badly that nothing I tried worked (and with Hijack This, its hard to tell whats really what because these things hide as system files….so I abandoned explorer for Firefox, and now I just need to know how to use the tabs feature!;-)
Ha! I thought you meant HIT (as in punched) a student….I couldnt imagine Scary-Clown Harris as a…um…sexual being…ICK!!! EWWWW!!!…enough to actually hit on or be hit upon….Oh my god, I feel dirty now…
PJ- I love the pics of Siggy
What a doll he is!!…and so shiny and sleek!
I also thought what Kat thought, that Ive got little forsythia flowers and bulbs up, and half a lawn….and what a change between Kat’s and here, and then from Here to where you are…and then, especially, to where Travis is.
But then, Im at the highest part of this city and downtown the flowers and grass are lush (which I guess is helped by corporate gardners and the heat of big buildings,) But also its just colder up here and always snows more…..
I never could figure out the tabs on Firefox…I just open zillion windows… I’m soooo lazy when it comes to these things…
You know what I like though? Google mail. I like how it’s organized. Just sayin’. If anyone wants a google mail account I have 99 left to give out, by the way, just let me know.
Hey Thanks Susan- PJ gave me one and I cant remember what I named it and it got lost in my corrupted hard drive…so I have to find it when I get the chance.
The toolbars menu under View has a customize tab and in there is a button that you can drag to your toolbar called New Tab, and one called New Window. It seems that you can turn the current page into a tab by clicking round those two, and you can open new pages easily with that New Window button.
Im figuring it out and will let you know if I totally get it. I like those buttons though…what a nice design Firefox has. If I had known that it automatically imports all of your settings I would have tried it long ago. I loathe having to reset everything.
Greetings to One and All.
pjsauter, Sorry. I thought literally “All is One and One is All” 😮 My Bad
(This site is one and Marc Maron’s site another.)
I think it is GREAT to have the one thread/site analogy and I guess you were having the two threads (in one).
Time for tea :joe: (got any Jameson?)
Hey, for Firefox, use ctrl + T for a new tab. Ctrl click on a link to open it in a new tab. If you have a mouse with a wheel, click the wheel button on a link to open it in a new tab.
awww…i guess theres no thursday night show thread…..it’s cool PJ. i know it’s a lot of work for you:nod:
