Wow, hard to believe I’ve been back home for a week already – or, as of about 3:18 this afternoon. Funny how this past week went by faster than any given day in DC. There seems to be a doggie here who has not only come to think that he should get to go to the park every single day, but who has now decided that he should go twice a day. Plus he’s been telling me how they were awfully mean to him around here, and how he hardly ever got to have fun. Poor boy.
So, I hope you’re not flying anywhere, ‘cuz, if you are, you better plan on getting to the airport pretty goddamn early. And no beverages. Man, I can’t deal w/o my water bottle, so I guess it’s a good thing I don’t have to go anywhere for a while. Funny how the Brits caught these guys, but Skeletor Chertoff is on the news everywhere. Seeing as how these were Pakistanis, I think it’s only appropriate that we invade Syria.
I see that Joe Lieberman has pointed to this as an example of why Ned Lamont will get us all killed, and Republicans are gleeful that this will “play really well” coming just a few weeks before September 11th. Personally, it reminds me that Bush ignored the August 6th PDB, and that he $10 Billion a month war and occupation hasn’t done shit. I dunno, Americans are pretty fucking stupid, but I think once they’ve finally realized you’re an idiot (god knows it took long enough), it takes an awful lot to change their minds. After all, “fool me once, shame on…uh…shame on you. Fool me…uh…can’t get fooled again.”
In other news, “…[t]he main points of a resolution to end fighting between Israel and Hezbollah have been agreed to by the U.S. and France….” Uh, that’s nice, I guess, but shouldn’t Israel and Hezbollah fuckin’ agree, too?
Well, I could go on, I suppose, but there seems to be a dog nose poking me in the ribs, and we have a saying around here: “when Siggy says ‘woof,’ we say ‘how high?'”
Have a good Friday, and watch out for those exploding sports drinks (might be the only thing Floyd Landis can get an endorsement deal for).

Apparently the only one here . . . hmmm . . . well okay. Well go here,
http://web.mac.com/ofmen/iWeb/Site/Podcast/Podcast.html and listen to my 08-10 podcast. I’ve managed to solve the issues with my audio. O I get it. My podcasts are a bit to gay for the ppl on this blog. Where is your progressive spirit of adventure? Liberal only up to a certain point? Anything gay is a little to gay? If a gay person can’t get any respect in a liberal blog then there isn’t any hope for America!

Lovely, huh?
Comment by Melina — August 10, 2006 @ 9:23 pm
Hi Melina! I wasn’t around, but thanks for the update. On one hand, I’m encouraged if this is the best that Karl Rove can come up with these days, but on the other hand they could be plotting something we haven’t even guessed about yet.
Not too paranoid, am I?
The guy who’s filling in for Riley today just took a call from a guy in Texas who said that apparently the signs that went up in airports yesterday concerning the new rules for liquid on planes were ordered and painted TWO WEEKS AGO.
I have difficulty believing that no one had advance notice about this “attack” prior to a few days ago. The timing is just too suspect.
And what was Bush doing in Green Bay yesterday? Did he have a play date scheduled with Brett Favre? We’re waging unwinnable wars on at least three fronts, the TSA is making in-flight liquids illegal, and the Chimp is on vacation. AGAIN.
Damn, I can’t wait until November.
:fu::fu::fu:
There are a lot of Chemicals available from various places both over the counter and on line that the Bushes would find really inconvenient to have around when they attempt to take over later this year.. They want to put heavy regulations on such things so the only way they can be obtained is though a government monitored outlet.:eek::eek::yuck::yuck::paranoid:
How else could they have gotten those signs up so fast?

Bush knew about the terrorist threat of liquid explosives since at least last Friday, 4 August 2006. According to Yahoo News
What did George do? NOTHING. No effort, whatsoever, to raise the terrorist threat level. No effort to boost aviation security procedures.
Bush, like a 12 year old boy on summer vacation, waited and rode his bike around his Texas ranch. No effort to task TSA to come up with tools to detect liquid explosives. No new inspection procedures. Just enjoy his vacation. That, boys and girls, is how the first 9-11 happened. And Gorgeous George wants credit for keeping us safe at home? Not this time. Never again! :fu:

Well with all the freepers on WJ ( with southern accents of course) yelling kill the Muslims, kill the Muslims why would the Muslims feel like killing Freepers .. i don’t understand ..:eek::eek::gate::omg::jason:
Larry Johnson was on with Hartman yesterday.. he said basically the same thing.. that LJ posted.. This may have been a real threat but like most of the others it was intercepted in the very early stages..We still don’t know who leaked the info…Maybe it was MI5’s turn to have a sting operation In any case 25 people is way to many.:eek::yuck::crap:
Well let the southern shit for brains go over there and do there best give them a big knife:jerk:
As long as the SBR’s foreign policy is that of becoming an empire and subjugating the conquered to life styles as impoverished slaves with few if any rights there will be terrorism.. The Muslims have realized this and are resisting it in the only way a populous without a regular military can. :gate::omg::jason::jason::eek::yuck::barf:
The southern shit for brains are for the most part the third generation rich people who have never done a thing to get where they are except to use their computer to see if the brokerage house has transferred the monthly dividend payment to their bank account. They are lying around their indoor kidney shaped pools calling C-span on their satellite phones. They hire slaves to do their fighting for them.( sounds a lot like Rome in about 477 ad) They only come out of the pool area to feed .. ONK ONK squeal squeal..:eek::gate::omg::jason::shock:

Three Indonesian Christians convicted of leading attacks on Muslims will be executed on Saturday, officials say.
The three men, who have been on death row since 2001, will face the firing squad just after midnight local time (1600 GMT).
They were sentenced for inciting attacks during religious rioting in Central Sulawesi in 2000.

He gasps: “My friend is dead! What can I do?”
The emergency operator says: “Calm down, I can help. First, let’s make sure he’s dead.”
There is a silence, then a gunshot is heard. Back on the phone, the stupid Elmer says: “Okay, now what?”
3:50 a.m.: A poll published in the Yediot Aharonot newspaper showed 37% of the 500 people questioned believed Israel would cripple Hezbollah, compared with 40% in a previous survey. Seventeen percent thought Israel would lose the war and Hezbollah would return to south Lebanon, up from 13% previously, said the poll conducted by the Dahaf organization. It had a margin of error of 4.5%. The percentage of people supporting a broad ground operation to push Hezbollah guerrillas beyond the range of short-range rockets fell to 64% from 73%, the poll said, indicating a growing public desire for diplomatic initiatives.

Within a few years, many more countries than the present ten or so will have nuclear bombs and far more destructive and accurate rockets and missiles, not to mention the means to deliver them accurately. Weapons-poor fighters will have far more sophisticated tactics as well as far more lethal equipment, which makes the heavily equipped and armed nations lose the advantages (as in Vietnam and Iraq) of their overwhelming firepower. The battle between a few thousand Hizbullah fighters and a massive, ultra-modern Israeli army proves this. Among many things, the war in Lebanon is a window of the future, and either the Israelis cease their policy of bluster and intimidation, and finally accept the political prerequisites of peace with the Arab world, or they too will eventually be wrecked by cheaper nuclear weapons.
We live with 21st century technology and also with primitive political attitudes, nationalisms of assorted sorts, cults of heroism and irrationality, and the world will destroy itself unless it realistically confronts the new technological equations. Israel must now confront this reality, and if it does not develop the political skills—and serious compromises—this new equation warrants then it will be destroyed even as it devastates its enemies.
This is the message of the conflicts in Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon—to use only the examples in today’s papers. Walls are no longer protection for the Israelis—one shoots over them. Their much-vaunted tanks have proven highly vulnerable to new weapons, and these will become more and more common. The U. S. war in Iraq is a military disaster against the guerrillas—a half trillion dollars spent there and in Afghanistan have left America on the verge of defeats in both places, its “shock and awe” strategy has utterly failed save to produce contracts for weapons makers and de facto economic bankruptcy.

Gunmen have fired on striking teachers marching through the southern Mexican city of Oaxaca, killing one man.
Protesters responded by setting fire to a house where the gunmen fled. They blamed Governor Ulises Ruiz for the attack, a charge his office rejected.
Tens of thousands of teachers have been on strike for weeks, demanding higher pay and the governor’s resignation.
Mr Ruiz is accused of rigging the 2004 election to gain office and of using force to suppress dissent.
The killing of a teacher on Thursday came after months of mounting violence in the city.
The dead man was identified as 50-year-old Jose Jimenez.
A house where the bullets where believed to have come from was set on fire by the protesters.
A spokesman for the Oaxaca People’s Assembly, which organised the march, said protesters had captured four suspected gunmen, the Associated Press news agency reports.
The city has seen continuing protests since June, after police attacked a teachers’ rally.
About 2,000 people have been camping out in the centre of the city, where they have set up barricades and smashed windows.
A radio station and a newspaper which have expressed support for the protests have been attacked by gunmen – two reporters have been injured and equipment damaged and stolen.
On Wednesday, a group of Triqui Indians driving to the city to join the protests was ambushed and three people, including a 12-year-old boy, were killed. It is not clear whether their deaths were linked to the protests.

AP:
The campaign spends about $100 to $150 a month on Web hosting services with MyHostCamp, said Dan Geary, who administers the site for the campaign. Geary said that MyHostCamp, which is owned by a friend of Geary’s, gave the site more than enough bandwidth _ 200 gigabytes a month _ to handle a crush of visitors.
First of all, $100/month is still not enough for hosting a serious website. The campaign went cheap, and they bought a shitty product. You get what you pay for.
Second of all, all the bandwidth in the world isn’t enough to keep up a website if the server is overloaded. And I can guarantee you that no single normal server can handle the kind of traffic spike experienced by Joe2006.com on a shared host with 74 sites on it.
I have unlimited bandwidth limits at Daily Kos. I simply pay for what I use.
Daily Kos crashed on election night not because I ran out of bandwidth, but because the servers couldn’t handle 2,000 visitors per minute.
Dan Geary is an idiot — underscored not just by his inability to get the site working on election day, but by the fact that three days later, it’s still offline.
I expect this story won’t die until we get the full truth. And I expect there to be repercussions — and the appropriate media coverage — if it turns out that the Lieberman campaign wasted the resources of the FBI for political gain.
Turning things knee-jerk over to the FBI without investigating the possible causes of the outages is pure negligence and abuse of our law enforcement agencies.

MEXICO CITY, Mexico (Reuters) — A moderate earthquake of 5.9 magnitude shook Mexico City on Friday, causing some buildings to be evacuated, the National Earthquake Information Center and witnesses said.
The tremor was also felt in the neighboring state of Morelos.
“We have had an earthquake in Mexico. We’re still working out the preliminary details. It has been felt in Mexico City,” said Amy Vaughan, geophysicist at the center.

First, I could have been stealing it from Mr. Moonlightman, and he decided that after that comment I posted last night about feeding Georgie Boy to Pigs, while tearing out his eye balls, wasn’t funny; he up and left me in the dark. Or, I’ve been screwed by Boyle and his law PV= NRT or something. Israel satisfied with changes made to cease-fire resolution
Officials in the Prime Minister’s Office as well as those close to Defense Minister Amir Peretz and Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni expressed satisfaction at the changes made to the draft UN Security Council cease-fire resolution agreed upon by the U.S. and France, senior aides to Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said Friday night.
Olmert will thus recommend to his ministers Sunday that the cabinet vote in favor of the resolution.
France and the United States reached a deal Friday on a final draft resolution aimed at ending the month-long conflict between Israel and Hezbollah, and announced the UN Security Council would vote on the text later Friday.
Security Council member states will convene at 10:00 P.M. to deliberate over the resolution, and a vote is expected at 1:30 A.M.

Many believe that American Jews unanimously and unconditionally support the Israeli government. That what we learned from the Holocaust is to shoot first and ask questions later. That our commitment to justice and equal rights is a quaint feature of our past.
There is a saying “two Jews, three opinions.” Now we are told “1 million Jews, one opinion.”
In fact, our community is profoundly divided:
Hundreds, if not thousands, of Jews all over the country have demonstrated to demand an end to the bombing of Gaza and Lebanon. In one of these demonstrations, 17 Jewish protesters were arrested in an act of civil disobedience.
In the past few days, thousands of Jews have signed a petition demanding that the United States intervene to stop the wanton killing of Lebanese civilians by the Israeli war machine.
Jewish organizations that sponsor such demonstrations and petitions, such as Jewish Voice for Peace (on whose board I serve), are experiencing exponential growth. Jews are looking for ways to express their outrage at the actions of the Israeli government, and of the blind support accorded by the Jewish establishment in this country.

5:45 p.m.: An Israeli drone fired missiles Friday night into a convoy of refugees fleeing attacks in the southern town of Marjayoun, killing at least six people and wounding 16 others, an AP photographer said. Lutfallah Daher, the photographer, was with the convoy when it was hit. He said he counted six bodies that were taken to the morgue at the hospital in Jobb Jannine. Daher said there were reports that two other people were killed but that he was unable to confirm that.
5:30 p.m.: Where things stand: In a dramatic game of brinksmanship, Israeli Prime Minister Olmert has ordered an expanded ground war in Lebanon because of dissatisfaction over an emerging U.N. cease-fire deal, but later Friday indicated he might be ready to accept an amended version. The fighting, which began July 12 after Hezbollah guerrillas crossed into Israel and seized two Israeli soldiers, has killed more than 800 people — including at least 732 Lebanese and 122 Israelis.

PJ you are all that and then some. I was talking to someone in the com sci world and re “Shout” She said waaaaat? :rofl2: I am still “Playing” but very very excited for that broadcast. I got stymied when “Shout” said not to have much on computer. :omg: I’ve got a “zillion” files. I may have to hook up the teaone that was suppose to be in hubby office.
…and when is was your bro Day of Birth…grrrr (hahaha)
Tell RAGING G ( thinking of Ali G) :rofl2:
:joe::alc: from the E world 😉
You can give her my email and Ill shoot her a mail….is it “the” morningseditionists dot com?
Note to self (and Others ):
This Blog is so BUSY:eek: and I MUST somehow get caught up:!:
Dru- hows the pack?
Fine, How’s the Lip? :eek::rofl2:
I have Dharma with me…She’s now the oldest since Karma “left” 🙁 🙂
Will’s lip?…it healed up great…but the pain of the jumping back from the shock lingers in the legs….
I just had to put my pack night night because they were going mad with me locked in the bedroom watching The Station Agent with the birds…..
I’ve seen that movie. The best part is at the beginning when the little statue thing gets knocked over and the his friend keels over and dies at the same time. Anyway…
Hey, Sblue, are going to this http://tinyurl.com/r3b7j
Um- guess maybe I should…thanks for telling me. Arrgh thats tomorrow.
Maybe not.
See, that seen was an unexpected duality. The rest of the film kinda dragged on. I like the guy that drve the food truck, though. He was funny.
It’s the whole weekend, Sblue!:knit2:
I really liked the whole thing…I thought it was excellent. Its a relationship movie…very subtle.
Now Im watching wedding crashers on TV.
Still trying to watch syriana…maybe tomorrow AM or sunday….I need to give it attention…or so Ive heard.
Are you going?
Ive been reading Kos and firedoglake…and its really incredible what a tool Liberfuck is being…
He is capable of doing a little damage….More if the top dems dont rope him in somehow.
I dont know if the american people will buy the Ned Lamont = terrorist attack = soft on terror…or whatever.
Maybe I missed you guys.
Friend is coming over and then we are going to Asteroird.
Gotta support that guy!
you two going to the quilting?….sounds so cool.
Just got back from going out and having a little fun. It was fun. Don’t ask! :hubba: M e l i n a . . . What little blue button are you talking about? This one? 😮 Everyone here seems to have so much trouble with their computers! :fustrate: Maybe you should :jason: them and sell the parts for scrap? I’d bake a :cake: if I had time. :rofl2: But I’d rather :rant1: about this and that and how BIG an asshole Bush is, that motherfucker. Excuse my English. I feel like  but the nearest good gay dance club is two and one half hours away and if I had the gas money to drive that far I could think of things I’d rather do than . So I guess I’ll stay here tonight since I had fun earlier. :nixon: I wanna :crap: everytime I think of all the :crap: this world is facing with ppl like “W” in office. Just when will that aforementioned mf’er be leaving office n e way? Huh? If I were :rabbi: I’d kiss his ass, but I’m not so . . . I think I’ll :bong: and see if that will help me figure out that morse code message that continues to come out of my computer speakers! It may be God. Who knows! I wish I had a :alc: buddy then I’d just get drunk and forget about it all.
I have been enjoying firedoglake Melina. Also loved the photos of your “pack”
I still wish I could fly to NY for the taping. Will have to ship toothpaste ahead if I do.
Travis- that guy from the food truck was a Fireman on Third Watch, and also the cop boyfriend to Will on Will and Grace…he is really an excellent actor; comedy or drama
Travis I thought we were maybe gonna watch the sky somewhere this weekend.
Oh Blue- I have toothpaste here….:rofl2:
See, the real deal is that once youre through the security check in they have set up little kiosks of stuff to buy…so you can stock up again. Ill bet anything that Halliburton is running those kiosks….
134, Huh?
The WiFi is being used by its rightful owner, so it’s pretty slow
You are surely right… I am watching fox news and Tony Snow’s face is melting. It’s a good thing.:rofl2:
Firedoglake is great…you really need multiple bloggers to make something like that work.
I also read ctbob.blogspot. He does little video interviews everywhere and posts them and blogs with the help of a couple of other guys.
The place we went to Travis. I feel like I haven’t had a decent meal in 10 days.
pj- my mail to granny failed…one or 2 g’s…and should I add “the” after the and sign?
Of course, when it bounced back it had lost its attachment text because microsoft decided to remove it…
I guess its in the sent box….
doesnt Owen Wilson purse his lips alot? He is just so odd looking….
How are your eyes doing Melina?
The emoticons are moving from where I put them in post 136. Weird. Prolly Karl Rove fucking with me again. That asshole just won’t be happy till he drives me cRaZy.
Hey Trav- were you going to the Moon tonight?
So I’m wondering how the arrest of these terrorists in Great Britian will affect the Midterms? Just like something like this to crop up right about now when Bush and his corrupt Republican party is in the dog house. Does God really want these mother fuckers running this country for another six to eight years? If so, I’m moving to another planet. I watch to much news. Its depressing, but I’m a glutton for punishment so I can’t help myself.
I don’t know. It’s kinda late.
Are you going to go see G?
What’s the plan for tomorrow?
No, I’ve not been drinking. Just high on life. Now I’m sounding like a Christian. Would someone shoot me please!
All I have is an appointment at 1:30 for about 2 hours.
Frankly
I could look out my window and see G.
I should just give him a call.
His old best friend my ex just emailed me after many a moon and is now teaching high school English somewhere in Arizona.
Who knew?
Ok I’ll be back in an hour or two
I’m just trying to catch up with all the TOP posters over there > So I live in the sticks. I sometimes wonder if New York really exists. I’ve never seen it. So this may be Karl Rove fucking with me still. Making me think that there really is a place like NYC. I’d like to go there someday to prove that it really does exist. Marc Maron prolly won’t ever come down here to the redneck capital of the southeastern US. Sometimes I wonder why I had to be born in Alabama? Sometimes I wonder why my parents had to be poor? I’d prolly be a real asshole if I’d been born with a silver spoon in my mouth. Prolly even a Republican. Now that’s a :omg::spank: thought.
Oh, fuck. So, you’ve seen him recently, I bet. :smack::doh: I was sorta drunk when I talk with him and mentioned something about twenty years since you’ve talked. I really need to get the story straight before I make even more of a fool of myself.
I thought my friend was here but not.
No I have not spoken to G in over 20 years. You are right. He may know about me through mutual friends like his ex bus. partner.
Yeah, he mentioned something about Arizona “of all places”.
Okay so I know my podcasts suck . . . even with the good sound. 🙁 I’m a boring person. I would play the violin if I could. But it could be worse. I could be running for my life in Lebanon. We all really have much to be thankful for. If I truly believed in God I’d give him a big hug for letting me hang out on this good earth for a few. To bad everyone is fucking up the air we breath and the water we drink. It’s no wonder ppl aren’t dying naturally n e more. My mom died of cancer and my dad died of a heart attack. I miss them. I wasn’t as good to them as I should have been. I’ll regret that for the rest of my life. I know my being gay pained my mother. She worried cause she was a Chrisitan. My mom never worried about herself. She never complained even though we knew she was sometimes in pain from the cancer. She was that kind of mom. I wish I could have convinced her that everything was gonna be okay. That her son wasn’t going to be sentenced to an eternal hell for being gay. That is what troubled her most. I have to believe that some how she reconciled all with her God, her faith in the end. Sorry to get so personal here. Just my way sometimes.
Um, I’m still here. It’s just that the page takes forever to load.
Cnick, Melina, Druid, Sblue, anyone?

Later Melina,:knit::gate:Great Journeys Day Or Night:!: 😉
Susan Joy, :banana::wink:
Hey Druid :pent: I think Malloy is ending, trying to figure out what to listen to now
Well if you weren’t on the otherside of the US we might could be drinking buddies. Who knows. Thanks for the thoughts directed my way though. Your kind. Most ppl here are. I know I freak ppl out here. No one knows how to take me I guess. No worries. I don’t bite. I am an open book. Nothing to hide. All my secrets are revealed in my blog and my old online journal. And just when I thought I couldn’t make a BIGGER fool of myself I discover podcasting. So now you don’t even have to read about my sordid life . . . you can sit back and listen to it! I am truly blessed. Even if I’m not religious. The :billcat: out of the bag, so to speak.
What? I don’t think people are freaked-out by you. But sometimes you type about shooting yourself- jokingly- and that may freak some people out. I think I’ll get some Wild Turkey now:40:
Yeah I tend to mouth off to much sometimes.
You folks here are all “freaks”…:omg:
A young friend calls me that, since he ALSO is a “freak”:omg:
:alc::omg::joe:
Was a joke :omg: :rofl2: I sure know how to clear a room :paranoid::rofl2:
:pent::banana::rofl2:Great Minds at The Same Time :rofl2::banana::pent:
Al Franken rerun, but I didn’t catch him today so it’s all good…
My rethug dear thick:doh:brother I talked :omg::growl: with tonight. I just said I am cool 😎 but if you talk over me then that is what he gets back (10 fold huh Sus(z)an Joy :pent::wink:Bwah HaHa)BUT WITH FACTS ON MY SIDE:nod::growl: A JOKE =AKA LBH (Lead Balloon Humour)
10 fold or 20 fold…:omg: not easy to talk to neocons, facts don’t budge them because they don’t hear…
So True, thats why I just walk right past or leave or POWER OVER (verbally) :fist:
:knit:Cindy Sheehan :gate:BE WELL
Actually, When I talk to my Dad about this stuff I will often say “get your facts straight and get back to me”and I saY “Did you get that from Bill O’liellly? Have you been watching Bill Olielly??? He kind of shuts up after that. Which is great. Lately its’s all :sammy: and when life starts- he has always been prochoice but my BA-Christian brother has been “getting” to him.
Ok I had a cosmo so I am slightly looped:alc:
Hey cnick- I did listen a bit to the pcast of Thursday. Left you at the carwash.
Ok who’s here? Reveal thyself…:omg:
Current users online: 1 🙁
was away from the computer but logged in… hello :joe:
Current users online: 2:grin:
Hey there Susan- did you get your space cleared oK?
I still miss Marc in the late hours 🙁
Yeah it is just wrong isn’t it.
Are you going to one of the NY shows?
Oh I don’t think I can actually…
Too bad:cry:
I miss Marc shows too :doh:
Did T get carried off by a turkey?
T fly away by Heron
Lets have a boohoofest like Lawton…:-x:(:-(:barf::???::rant1:
I’m sure he’ll be back. I figure he’s not done with, he’ll be doing lots of stand up, and even besides that he’ll be back on radio and on TV or both. The man is a major talent and he’s got to rise to the top, that’s how I figure 😛
Gossip :rofl2:
What do you think about who MoonLightMan is?
You know he told me his birthday was the 10th of August (yeh right) then he said it wasn’t:growl:.
I’m a literalist soooooo :doh::fustrate::growl:
MMMMwah HaHa:growl:
oh, who can he be?
He’s a damn poet he is…
Nope. No turkey:nod:
I’m searching my home hard drive for harry Druid:nod:
Oh Behave:!: Morrigan.
He did say he was a Magic Man like he said before (using a :pent:)
Seriously. That guy’s a poet?
Did I ever tell you about Turkey Lurkey?
No… What?
But I am going to “throw it down again”, as Travis :wink:would say.
Well, hit us with it, Druid! C’mon!
That last line he wrote last night kinda had me going…
Maybe he is. I don’t think I’ve ever met a poet, though.
Do I have to look up last line:eek:… Heron , wait’n Turky Lurky … is that a joke I’m not getting. I thought “storytime”:doh::doh::doh::doh::doh:
http://s114.photobucket.com/albums/n251/sblueheron/?action=view¤t=e4ce3689.jpg&refPage=&imgAnch=imgAnch1
Travis we should have an emo with fight’n gloves :rofl2::billcat:
You met G “the carpentuer poet”
There once was a Turkey from Lurkey…
Yeah, g and I talked about Marshall Mcluhan.
Oh, that reminds me. He said he had to work on some cabinets today.
“Interestingly, McLuhan saw electronic media as a return to collective ways of perceiving the world. His “global village” theory posited the ability of electronic media to unify and retribalize the human race. What McLuhan did not live to see, but perhaps foresaw, was the merging of text and electronic mass media in this new media called the Internet.”
NICE ooooOOOooo so proundly nice that Heron
but I also loved that close kina mysterious pic too.
I like the Mysterious.
I know why one of my middle names is Agatha (my :priest: confirmation )sp) name :rofl2:
he made my head hurt
This one was the Seattle Heron- trying to find a bigger picture.
I am a bit OC so, “It Haunts Me.”
First only a bizarre few poets get the big bucks. I have some poems published, so
No excuse MoonLightMan :growl:
I think the moonlight tomorrow will mask all the meteors 🙁
So what does that mean? No looky?
Now I am really confused.
Hubby, got to see Marc by this sight, and my persisting. I WISH I could see him. 😥 now Sean and hubby will see again, never me:cry: Rats
But I am glad for all going in NY 🙂 🙁
But I tell my hubby when :billcat:
I think the moonlight tomorrow will mask all the meteors waaaat?
Are the Perseids goin’ get us or just take him away?
Not the Magic Man 😮
It’s up to you. I mean, I’m probably going to look either way:paranoid: I was going to set up something in the backyard, but you mentioned driving somewhere. I don’t know what the plan of attack is. Um…the best time to gaze, is right after dusk before the moon rises.
Or just before dawn…
Seattle air quality is not so good for watching for meteors, and light pollution is horrible
Really. Ok. Yeah
But you’ll be able to see the moons of Jupiter.
Hey have you thought of getting a pay as you go cell phone?
I thought about it, but I really don’t call anyone. People really don’t call me, so I haven’t thought too much about it
I see the Perseid every year, besides last year which was suppose to be the best viewing, what’s so special? Besides, all Perseid’s are Magic and contemplative.
But now I mostly just see Overcast skies 🙁
— but I have pastels from the Hale Bopp Comet when I HAD Great Clear Skies…. not drowned by City Lights 🙁
I don’t think I have ever seen them.
Travis had Great sights in Alaska even of Northern Lights Awwwww OOOoooooOOO
Or is it Saturn. I think it’s Saturn. Oops:doh:
sblueheron , yeh but you have whales up close and personal
No…. It’s Jupiter! I’m mixed up
http://s114.photobucket.com/albums/n251/sblueheron/?action=view¤t=5e9576de.jpg&refPage=&imgAnch=imgAnch1
I am such a B I T C H……I am still OC on Magick Man
Hey, there’s a song by Wilco called Hummingbird, I think. It’s not bad.
Darn too late to edit my last photo bucket:omg:
Aww Druid- Is it a wee crush?
That was the hummingbird that was pestering me when my mom was dying.
Married people can’t have crushes:spank:
You have some strong views there Travis…
Just kidding. they can do whatever they want.
Now i have something around 3pm for a while tomorrow. Busy busy.
Wow. Did you just make an appointment this late at night?
Druid don’t be so hard on yourself- he had a way with words.
Kinda like someone with MM initials.
Yeah friend just emailed about our old high school made into condos and an open house for alumnai just till 3 if I can make it.
Travis can you show me how to make a one word link to a picture?
Yeah, like, right now…or what?
:hubba: … no and yes. No cuz no but crush hmm kinda maybe, since he came addressing me in a certain way when I really needed it. And he spoke at night about magic and things. But everything and We were a bit distance yet he just reminded me of a different Space. It probably reminds me of one thing I am writing with hairy things.
But I am a literalist and a bit OCD — to bad not re cleaning house, but I guess I had a bit crush like with Marc and I am not that open…but there is something about the special people here.
So on a Full Moon he “teased” me. Hook, Line, and Sinker. Maybe cuz I went to school there and spoke there…yet …
Druid, since you seem so upset about a statement I made, I will repost it.
Awwwww Dear MoonlightMan don’t tell me year, but month and date please :batting of eyes:
Comment by Druid_666 — August 10, 2006 @ 4:35 am
Druid, I believe it is August 10. 200 6 if I am not mistaken. See ya later alligator! after while crocadile!
Comment by moonlightman — August 10, 2006 @ 4:41 am
I recall you asked me the date…I answered honestly:lol::omg:
sblueheron , that shot was profoundly beautiful and sooooo rare. Makes me miss mountains since I had that and bats and the “wild”
:omg:
I understand:nod:
MoonLightMan 😳
:rant1::jason::spank:
Moonlight Man- When is your birthday?
Yes Travis- right now OK?
Ok I am being a bit too demanding and mouthy- sorry:oops:
Every dark moon:lol:
Does your upper lip quiver like that always?
Well, I can explain it to you…maybe. Do you see the little bubbles above where you type in the comment area, under the emoticons? Well, when you write something in the comment box, highlight it and hit the bubble that says link. Put the address to the picture in that little window that pops up. I think that’s about it.
:rofl2::rofl2::rofl2::nod::lol:
like this
I am just FINE 😳 Fucked Up Insecure Neurotic and Emotional
there were levels you wouldn’t probably ever need hear but now I am sitting with burning cheeks and head in hands. :omg::oops::omg:
It is …
So then Travis how about just a blank page with a photo on it not my whole album. Seanie Sean did one yesterday and it was a photobucket photo.
I think “they” make pills for that.
Hey Druid- how about the old click edit and scrub technique?
I don’t know about that one. Maybe you could explain it to me later. I’ll try and figure it out then
:doh:My head hurts  huh, I am lost, sorry.
The truth is blogs can be a source of much confusion. Many times people misconstrue what is being said. Do not feel bad…. I do it all the time. I did know what you were asking, but answered with a carefully crafted evasion. I may change my sign on to the quivering lip.
well, you do that then, and I’ll go brush my teeth:nod:
Love the hummingbird sblue, I take it you like birds? A hummingbird always brings much happiness to me.
Me too-
Druid, are you reading tea leaves?
Seattle is getting quite a bird population and you notice things like two bald eagles soaring together while you are driving up stoned way.
I have a tendency, like the wolves I had and hybrid I have and I am sorry that is the joke, to be a misanthrope. There is something special here. Plus I am call an Ice ….. but as a poem I wrote,
…the shattering may be a stake.
(ends positive folks) see Travis you knew a few 😉
“…the beauty from the roar of the soul of truth.”
Still resonates…thanks for that MM.
Seattle is a great town. Is stoned way a street or a state of mind?
Stone Way Ave N- I believe. Three blocks from Troll Ave.
stoned way a street or a state of mind?
OK .Fuck! I have to give credit where credit is do. That was a good one:bong:
You are welcome sblueheron
I am a Cardinal sign, like someone else , am truly a “bit” OCD …all is my fault since I needed to “understand”. I think living in mountains for so long make me “wild” 🙂 😥 Dramatis Personae
Druid I am a misanthrope myself, I do so understand….do you have any pictures of your beloved wolves?
stoned way a street or a state of mind?
OK .Fuck! I have to give credit where credit is do. That was a good one
Comment by travisdem_04
See, charming. You have a crush too? (giggles)
Hey now…
So does moonlightman have any photos to “throw down”?
not really, I do not know how to do it anyway.
Good job on the teeth Travis:grin:
😛
Maybe I should use soap next time? No more F-words:no:
Hey I just learned how to do it and I’m an old fart right Trav?
So, we are the late night seditionists huh?
Moonlight Man were you ever in Seattle?
Travis is a good teacher.
Yes, one was on a site I had once. I did not take much since I hated the chemicals involved… I have MANY on film, but unknown if will develope, since it takes ones spirit:wink: Now do I know how to post the pics no…..oneday perhaps. Must be emotional I have several on my desk, amongst my “rubble”. So capture in difinately here and now in Poem(s) and in journals and in some pictures/photos.
Can you take us there in the Wayback machine?
I was there once, a long time ago. I really liked it. I am sad about the orcas though. I am happy that some are still there. I remember black sand beaches and some of the best food anywhere.
They are sooo precious and I miss them so …
Was that La Push?
Druid I thought of you driving by the WolfHaven sign today:nod:
I would like to go visit canada, I would not mind living there…get away from the hordes…
moonlightman  SBlueFox and Travis and Susan Joy if there still they had THE BEST Black Sand and perfect real pizza hmmm never had better but I was in “strange” places near snow when got the perfect pizza hmmmm “strange”
Where is the Black Sand?
They will always be with you Druid. You know that. You were fortunate to live with wolves, it is somthing that most never get to experience. I am jealous. What noble beasts. I am really in awe that you did such a thing.
I used to Toss pizza with G Travis.:40: But it was whole wheat crust so far far from “perfect”
Oh man did we lose Travis?:rant1:
No. No, I just fell asleep in the back seat.
As I remember it was in the southern part of washington. I take it it’s not everywhere?
Travis are you in a car?
sblueheron , no, but I have one of their (Wolf Haven) “Pins” that says I  Wolves. with their # (206) 264-HOWL. Now you people are getting to me. They are start the Wolf Hunts , now in Alaska.:omg::omg::omg:In my super “RAD” days, we stopped the ones (Ariel Hunts) in CANADA now, though, only through another way. :growl: 🙁 :growl:
No. I’m just not in the conversation, my friend. It’s a metaphor, I think
All the dogs are barking in the neighborhood:shock:
:yawn:This will have to be continued……I am fading fast:yawn:. Goodnight all. I am going out to see if I can see the Persieds. I know i cant but will try anyway.
Someone should go to tomorrow and be first:omg:
re 308, see that is why I guess I do have a crush on this man. Someone who care for wolves and the Star. But then again I am “Charmed” by a stoic heron, a SBlueHeron:wink:.
Travis how can we make you fall in love with Seatle like many have. Equal to My City, there is Seatle. You should get great “haunting” stories about Washington and Seatle.
I am banned again.
re:71 :omg::rofl2:
I am trapped in yesterday’s blog!
Lift the ban!
if you’re prisoner here I’m going into exile with you!!!!
JFK Assassination: Why?
Although he has become a legend, John Fitzgerald Kennedy was hardly the most popular president in history when he was gunned down in November, 1963. In the previous six months alone, the Secret Service had reviewed over 400 threats to his life. Three of these were serious enough to entail changes in his security routine.
He was loathed by anti-Castro exiles, other rightwingers, the Mafia and even some of his own government agencies. In attempting to figure out who murdered him, it is important to understand who hated him, and why.
The stolen election
The seeds of that hatred were planted in the 1960 election that brought Kennedy to the presidency. The Democrats stole that election from Republican candidate Richard Nixon by tampering with the vote in two states. In Illinois, Mafia boss Sam Giancana arranged for 10,000 votes to be cast for John F. Kennedy “from the graveyard.” In Texas, the political machine of Kennedy’s running mate, Lyndon Johnson, arbitrarily disqualified about 100,000 votes.
As a result, 51 electoral votes that should have gone to Nixon went to Kennedy. Had they been added to Nixon’s total, he would have squeezed into the presidency by one electoral vote.
Yet JFK quickly forgot his debts to Giancana and Johnson. Early in his presidency, he and his brother Robertestablished a special Justice Department strike force aimed at eradicating organized crime in the US. By the summer of 1963, JFK seemed ready to dump Johnson from his 1964 reelection ticket because Johnson’s long-time personal secretary, Bobby Baker, had been implicated in a scandal involving federal farm subsidies.
* Gary Underhill, a CIA agent who claimed the CIA was involved in the JFK assassination, died of a gun shotto the head in May 1964. H is death was ruled a suicide.
* Guy Banister, a former FBl agent and acquaintance of Oswald, died of an apparent heart attack in June 1964. Files containing information on his anti-Castro activities were missing by the time authorities reached his office.
* Mary Meyer, a mistress of JFK’s during the White House years and the estranged wife of CIA veteran Cord Meyer, was murdered in October 1964 in a park in Washington, DC. Cord Meyer was a fishing companion of CIA counter-intelligence chief, James Jesus Angleton, who seized Meyer’s diary after her death.
* C.D. Jackson, senior vice president of Life magazine, died of unknown causes in September 1964. Jackson arranged for Life to buy the Zapruder film soon after the Dealey Plaza shooting and then locked it away. (The film was not widely seen by the public until it was shown on ABC’s Goodnight America in 1975.)
* Rose Cheramie, a prostitute and striptease dancer in Ruby’s Dallas nightclub, died in a Texas hit-and-run accident in September 1965. Two days before the assassination, she told police in Louisiana she overheard two Latin men plotting to kill the president.
* Dorothy Kilgallen, a prominent columnist and TV personality, was ruled a suicide by drug overdose in November 1965. She had just completed a lengthy interview of Ruby in prison and told friends privately that she was about to “break” the JFK case.
* David Ferrie, a militant anti-Castroite and associate of Oswald and Banister, died of an apparent brain embolism in February 1967. He was just about to be arraigned for conspiracy in the JFK assassination by New Orleans District Attorney Jim Garrison, whose investigation convinced him that the CIA was involved.
* Eladio Del Valle, a friend and political comrade of Ferrie’s, was shot at close range the day after Ferrie’s death. Garrison had been trying to find Del Valle for questioning.
witness list because of his alleged links to Jack Ruby and anti-Castro Cuban militants.
