Well, here we go. Polls open at 6 AM here in the Empire State, and close at 9 PM. In between, there’s not a helluva lot to do (assuming you’re not driving people around or working at the polls). We’re “on-call” to go and document any voter problems (that reminds me, I’d better charge up the video camera battery) that might crop up, but, well, this aint Ohio or Florida, so it should be pretty smooth sailing. It’ll be interesting to see how turnout is here where I live. The top of the ticket in NY is a done deal, but we have an extremely close congressional race, and I would personally love to see the smug look wiped off our monkey-faced piece-o-shit Bush rubber stamp. It’s supposed to be warm today (by our standards), with a little bit of rain here and there, but nothing major.
Otherwise, I have shitload of stuff to do for class tomorrow that should occupy my mind for most of the day (until the leaked exit polls start coming in), but I really need to get everything done before the polls close, so I can watch the returns come in. I think I’ll put up a fresh thread at 9:00 EST so we can post our local results as they come in. I hope all goes well, but all the trouble spots are pretty much guaranteed to be trouble again this year. Are people ready to fill the streets this time? I hope so.
Anyhow, the fax just came in from the Streisand compound, and you marching orders are to get out there and vote. Now, let’s get this over with already.

Hey Druid . . . have a great day! It’s raining :cat:s and :pup:s here in Birmingham. Hope you have better weather in California! Sounds like the real action will be in the NE and Mid-Western states today. Watch Virgina folks . . . if we can get rid of Allen it’ll be a good sign. The WAVE of change is coming. And even if we don’t win control of the Senate there is NO WAY we can’t take control of the House except by fraud. If that happens we’ll all know it. But I personally believe that good things will happen today. Talk to you guys later today.
Gluten Tag! Crap, this is going to be a loooooooooooooong day at the poll. I’m likely to see some people at the polls that I’m not sure I wanna see, like, my old landlady that kicked me and my 4 animals out of my apt with 30 days notice, my old ceramics professor who acts like he doesn’t like me very much, my current landlord, drunk(he always gets drunk and goes to vote),my old neighbor, Bill(he’s alright) and others I’ve seen around for years. I just hope the other lady on the board will keep the neighbor yappin’ to a minimum today.
Justice department dispatches election monitors
POSTED: 10:02 p.m. EST, November 6, 2006
From Justice Producer Terry Frieden
WASHINGTON (CNN) — The Justice Department Monday announced it has dispatched an army of election observers and monitors across the country to polling places where it sees a potential for discrimination or other voting rights violations.
After weeks of considering requests for a federal presence, Attorney General Alberto Gonzales and his Civil Rights Division lawyers decided to send 850 poll watchers to 69 jurisdictions in 22 states.
– snip –
Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Wan Kim said the anticipated closeness of races would be one factor in making the final decisions on where to send observers. But in the end, few of the jurisdictions receiving federal scrutiny will be in states with heated Senate races.
Eight counties in South Dakota and five in Arizona with substantial Native American populations are on the list. In Arizona, Native Americans have warned of tensions in a race where there is debate over whether a Native American state senator endorsed a congressional candidate.
– snip –
An official with the Leadership Conference for Civil Rights called the Justice Department’s announcement Monday “a mixed bag.”
“It seems they took some of our recommendations to heart,” said attorney Julie Fernandez. “Our biggest disappointment is that they are not sending anyone to North Carolina or Alaska,” she said. In Chatham County, North Carolina, there is a hotly contested referendum on county commission voting districts, which is opposed by black residents who have expressed fear of voter suppression tactics.

Washington- US voters riled by the relentless war in Iraq elect a new Congress on Tuesday, with polls signaling a wave of discontent that could cost President George W Bush’s Republican Party its majority. Pre-vote surveys showed the opposition Democrats poised to retake the House of Representatives after 12 years of Republican control and with a chance also to break the centre-right’s hold on the Senate.
Close races, particularly in the Senate, could delay final results until Wednesday morning – or even later, if the outcome turns on the counting of a record number of absentee ballots.

Election Day And Flooding
If you’re unable to get to your polling place because of flooding, you can cast a provisional ballot at any polling place. In King County, call 206-296-VOTE (8683) to locate polling places and for the latest information about weather-related problems. You also can go to: metrokc.gov/elections/
Officials advise that flooding of the Snoqualmie and Tolt rivers might affect voters in the Carnation, Fall City and Snoqualmie areas. The Snoqualmie Elementary polling place at 39801 S.E. Park St., Snoqualmie, has been closed. Voters will be routed to Snoqualmie Fire Station, 37600 S.E. Snoqualmie Parkway, Snoqualmie.Other polling places near the Snoqualmie and Tolt rivers: River View School Dist. Office, Carnation; Fall City Elementary; Fall City Fire Station District 27.

Let the recounts begin
Expect to see charges of voter fraud, intimidation, and manipulation
WASHINGTON – Democracy’s dirty little secret: Vote counting is a messy business. In nearly every election, votes that shouldn’t be counted are, and votes that should be counted aren’t. In the 2004 election, at least 850,000 ballots cast somewhere in the nation were never counted, the federal Election Assistance Commission estimates.
Some voters inadvertently invalidated their absentee ballots by failing to sign them. Other absentee ballots were signed but weren’t counted because scanners failed to detect a signature.
But voters who showed up at a polling place didn’t necessarily have better luck: Some lacked proper identification, or were directed to the wrong precinct. Others discovered that they weren’t registered, that their names had been purged from voter rolls, or that someone had already voted in their name. Most of these frustrated folks were allowed to cast provisional ballots, but many of those ballots were not counted.

Do NOT cast ballot if there is a problem. Once you cast it, there is little that can be done. (You can document it, though.) In most states, if machines are not working, you can cast a provisional ballot that is counted as a regular ballot. Lawyers are available to help.

Clinton Is Midterm Campaign’s Biggest Spender, Records Show, at $29.5 Million and Counting
Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton has spent more money in the midterm election cycle than any other politician running for office this year, campaign finance records show, investing more than twice as much as most candidates in tight races across the country.
To secure her Democratic re-election bid in New York, Mrs. Clinton spent $29.5 million through the middle of October, according to the Federal Election Commission, suggesting that she may have her sights on a future national campaign. “It may be that Clinton is spending so heavily in New York to try to accomplish the kind of landslide that President Bush enjoyed in 1998,” said Mr. Toner, referring to the Texas governor’s race eight years ago.
While Senator Rick Santorum, Republican of Pennsylvania, spent $21.5 million through the same time period, records show, his spending report comprises bills like $30.33 at Papa John’s pizza, $59.50 at Panera Bread and $74.34 at the Olive Garden.
Not so for Mrs. Clinton, whose campaign reported sending a $6,585 check to Flutterbyes for flowers in Las Vegas, $5,397.50 to Le Petit Gourmet Catering in Glendale, Colo., and $80,000 to Tavern on the Green in Manhattan. Those were among the bills gleaned from a page-by-page review of Mrs. Clinton’s third-quarter campaign finance report, which showed disbursements of more than $8 million.

Another reason the media loves DLC demodorps.:bf:
I got an email last night from “Michael DuHaime, RNC Political Director”, with directions to my polling location.
Only problem is, it’s the wrong place.
Is this:
1) Incompetence. Given the way the R’s have run things lately, I can believe that; it’s the most likely answer.
2) Deliberate attempt to throw me off. :fu: Well, I have a long record of voting and contributing Republican, but since 2002 have bailed since I am a conservative, not a facist. Given microtargeting, it is conceivable that a smart algorithm would pick up the fact that I stopped contributing to the party, voted in the Democratic primary, visit this blog, etc.
Submitted for your consideration . . . :omg:
Interesting, Methaz. I agree that – in your case, anyway – incompetence is most likely (theirs, not yours, of course), but you never know. Is your state one where you can vote in either primary? Here in NY, you have to be registered in a party (which is why I finally registered as a Democrat a few years back, after being a lifelong “no preference”).
Well, I suppose I ought to head over to the polls. I hope there’s a line, for once.
Good Morning PJ
Should have mentioned that I live in Savannah, Georgia. And it wasn’t just wrong a little – it’s on the other side of the county.
The initial primary is “open”, but they track who votes in which primary so that you can only vote in runoffs for the same party. So if you vote in the Democratic primary, you can’t then vote in a Repub runoff even if there is no Dem runoff.

A little good news for today:
Shark Fishing Banned In Southern Ocean
A regional fisheries management group whose members include China, Japan, the United States and several European countries has imposed a moratorium on shark fishing in the Southern Ocean, which surrounds Antarctica.
Environmentalists hailed the decision by the Convention on the Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources as a preemptive move that could protect the population from overfishing.
French officials proposed the moratorium amid concerns over widespread harvesting of shark fins as well as shark fishing in general. Some fishing companies seek out deepwater sharks for their rich liver oil, used mainly for pharmaceuticals. The sharks grow slowly and have a hard time rebounding if their stocks are depleted.
Sonja Fordham, policy director for the Ocean Conservancy’s shark program and another advocacy group, the Shark Alliance, called it “a landmark agreement in shark conservation” and said fisheries managers “must begin to err on the side of caution.”

I assume from the polls that Holy Joe is going to win, but if he loses, I think the reason why is evident to anyone who voted today. Did you look for the names at the very bottom of the ballot? If you did, its because you were specifically motivated to look there. Holy Joe is going to lose a lot of voters who will see the GOP and Dem names at the top, and won’t move their eyes down to the bottom, where his name is. It won’t be in the millions, but if this race is close [which is where GOTV comes in] look out. Most voters don’t read newspapers or blogs, and quite a few have only a vague idea who Tim Russert or George Snefalofogous are. If Lamont’s deficit is only 5% or so, look out.

Both incidents have been reported to the police. As voters headed to the polls, Fawcett campaign volunteers arriving at campaign offices were greeted with a vile “Skunk” aroma, making it virtually impossible to conduct work there. The campaign is expecting more than 200 people to come through the offices today to help with Get Out The Vote and Poll Watching efforts.
“Don’t let these hooligans deter you from exercising your Constitutional right to vote,” said Fawcett. “It’s time to take a stand against these attacks.”
This is the second time the Fawcett Campaign has been vandalized. Last Tuesday the Campaign Finance Director’s car was covered in the skunk smell, while parked out front of the El Paso County Republican Office.

Hundreds of voters in two Central Florida counties were apparently given the wrong ballots Tuesday, according to a Local 6 News report.
We have just learned that voters at Precinct 218 ( in Volusia County) were given the wrong ballots,” Local 6’s Tarik Minor said. “This may be a serious problem but election officials here in Deland do not know the full extent of the problem.”
The problem came to light when a woman wanted to vote for state Rep. Joyce Cusack and state Rep. Ronald Cahen but noticed they were not on the ballot. Officials then noticed that she had the wrong ballots for her district.
Also, Osceola County experienced similar problems Tuesday, according to the Local 6 News report.
People who voted between 7 a.m. and 7:45 a.m. were given Precinct 30 ballots instead of the correct Precinct 29 ballot.

Other reports of somebody wearing Valesky (Democrat incumbent in the NY State Legislature) stickers doing the same thing.
This is on top of tons of illegal Republican robocalls here, that are actually getting reported in the local media, amazingly enough. Otherwise, turnout in the areas with traditionally high Democratic registration being very heavy, and in at least one very “red” area, being very sparse.

The Colorado Democratic Party is headed this hour to Denver District Court to ask a judge to extend voting this evening by two hours due to problems at Denver election centers.
Communications director Brian Mason said they are expected in court by 11:30 a.m. this morning.
Voters at many of the city’s new 55 voting centers are encountering long lines, computer problems and an inadequate number of computers to check proof of voter registration. Some city workers have been sent to polling places to help work the crowds and machines.
This is the first general election in which the city has used voting centers, instead of traditional precincts.
Voter Ron Allen said it took him about an hour to vote at the Wellington Webb building downtown.

Orthodox Jews protest gay pride
JERUSALEM (AP) — Israel’s attorney general refused to ban a gay pride parade in Jerusalem despite threats of violence from ultra-Orthodox Jews, instructing police and gay activists to try to work out a compromise, the police commander said Sunday.
A Justice Ministry statement said Attorney General Meni Mazuz ordered police to meet with gay activists “to work out a reasonable alternative proposal” for the march, set for Friday on a route through the middle of the city.
The meeting is to take place Monday, gay activists said, and a compromise was likely.
Ultra-Orthodox Jews have rioted in Jerusalem nearly every night over the past week, burning garbage cans, blocking roads and assaulting police officers in an attempt to get the authorities to call off the march, approved months ago by the Supreme Court. Many religious Jews, Muslims and Christians see homosexuality as a sin and the march as an affront to the sanctity of the holy city.
Police said Sunday that the danger of violence was too great to allow the march to proceed, but left the final decision to Mazuz.
“We understand that the potential danger to life and bloodshed is greater than that to free speech,” said police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld.
Ella Canetti, one of the organizers of the gay pride march, said they would meet police on Monday and were willing to be flexible.
“We are prepared to alter the route of our march to meet police concerns,” she told The Associated Press. “According to what we understand, a modest gay pride march will take place in Jerusalem.”
After meeting Mazuz, Jerusalem police commander Ilan Franco said, “It may be that there will be a march and a closing event at place which both sides decide is reasonable and minimizes potential damage and danger.”
But it was unclear whether such a compromise would satisfy the ultra-Orthodox Jewish opponents.

Voting nightmare: Problems grow worse
(snip)
The problems began right at 7 a.m. as computer problems at the voter-check in stations bogged down, creating a bottleneck in the first hour of voting as a rush to the polls overloaded the system.
Power failures slowed voting at some locations, Denver Election Commission spokesman Alton Dillard said.
Voting machines had backup power and weren’t affected, but laptop computers used to verify voter registration were knocked out, forcing workers to call the central office for the information, he said.
Shortly after 8 a.m., election judges reported better service and lines began moving.
Mark Coles, a computer technician with the Denver Election Commission, said the election system had to be split onto three separate servers to handle the backlog.
“It’s just like traffic on (Interstate) 25,” Coles said. “It’s as if we are building two more I-25s right next to it” to ease the traffic congestion.
But the fix did not come in time to help some voters who hoped to vote before heading to work.

OK, so I got a late start today due to my insomniac spouse. We went to our poll (in NJ) about 12:30, signed our names, and then asked about a paper trail and reciept. The poll workers were perplexed as to *why* we would even want one – didn’t we trust them? We had to explain that the machines were hackable, and recommended watching “Hacking Democracy” again tonight. We took our digital camera into the booth, and videoed our voting. It looked okay, but if Essex county all of a sudden was taken over by Rethugs, I’ll get a gun. The poll workers did say that there was better turnout than usual for a midterm election – so that’s a plus!
One depressing note: while running errands, we stopped at a Verizon store. When I mentioned that I wasn’t crazy about their management’s political contributions, the saleswoman expressed her apathy about the whole political process – this year thanks to Kean Jr.’s ads. Another one falling for the negative strategy. Damn.

Yeah, this was out last vote with the lever machines, and, while there were some problems with 50 of the 487 of them in our county (most were problems with being improperly initialized; it requires a series of key being turned in the correct order, and if you goof up, they have to send out an inspector to unlock them), mostly it seems to be smooth sailing. Of course, you don’t actually know if their actually registering your votes properly, but at least when you wank the lever back and the curtain opens, you feel like you’ve voted.

(It is my “break time” :growl: :yippee: :rofl2:)
well, I voted.:nixon:
Oy, what a twit this Randi caller is right now.
Yay, Travis!
Harry “well I still have my job so who gives a shit about yours Read ” was on with Shultz and indicated that Hispanic voters all over the west have been getting Robo calls telling them various not nice things would happen to them if they voted. That was supposedly happening in Denver but none of the local media has picked up on it yet that I can find.
One would think that with all this NSA surveillance equipment they could find those computer installations..( insert sarcasm emo here):bf:
Many just heard very positive results from another “Call for Change” caller speaking on Randi’s show re New York to Virginia. He just said that a “Sea Change” (my word :=) is Truly Occuring.
:omg: But I “believe” again, then I see Dems vote for Arnold :omg:
May Angelides :knit: Win ❗:cool::yippee:
Voting problems reported in NJ

The more dirty tricks get reported, the more it looks like a Dem wave, because winners don’t have to resort to this. This is Karl Rove’s “genius”? :sammy:
heavy voting is reporter here. weirdest machine problem: woman who had not voted in 10 years got through to the point of getting her yellow card to insert in the computer (she got the all-clear on the voter rolls) but the machine said she’d already voted. They gave her a new card, same thing. hmmmm and it was in the rethugs home town.
where the party is tonight the opponent had someone park a jeep with a big sign for the opponent in front of the restaurant. Southern way to deal with it…..they called the jeep’s owner’s momma and told her that a clean campaign had been run up ’til now. Momma had her son move his jeep and chewed his sorry ass out! HA!
Bye! Just wanted to check in. Luck to all! :fire:
The Denver election commission contracted the voter registration system set up with one of the several defense contractors in the area .
. Don’t you feel safer now ..:eek::eek::eek:
Yeah, speaking of Latinos, this was over at TPM Muckraker:
I just spoke with a Latino election monitor in Arizona who said that a trio of men, one with a handgun visible, is harrassing Latino voters as they go to the polls in Tucson, Ariz.
Nina Perales, a senior poll-watcher for the Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund (MALDEF), called me from Tucson’s Iglesia Bautista precinct, where the three men are approaching Latino voters and videotaping them on their way to vote.
“As voters are coming out of their cars and walking up towards their polls, one person is videotaping the voter as he walks towards the polling place,” she said. Then another person, wearing an American flag bandana and a shirt with the image of a badge ironed or embroidered on it, approaches with a clipboard to talk to the voter. “While the clipboard person is. . .talking to [the voter], the cameraperson comes up and starts videotaping their face,” Perales said.
As this happens, the third man — with a gun visible in a sideholster — stands next to the voter. According to Perales, he is wearing a shirt with an American flag on it, and camouflage shorts.
The men only approach Latino voters, she said, and noted they have been doing so since early this morning.
If these intimidation rumors are not true, spreading them around works for the GOP. A quandry all right. :sammy:
:growl::fist: HaaaYaaa or just a good “right” hook or “By Your Actions … Poof Mwah HaHa 😎 .
“by your actions poof mwah haha.” The very thing i meant to say.:sammy:
If someone with a gun was trying to intimidate Latino voters around here the Latinos would go home and bring back their Browning Automatic Rifles. and have a short conversation with them.:fist::tommygun:
If there are shoot outs on election day in the Southwest, you’ll see that fence go up so fast it will make your head spin, and Bush’s “liberal amnesty immigration plan” will be defeated in favor of an immigration plan drafted by the KKK. I’d say Karl Rove would love a shoot out, more than he loved 9 11. :sammy:
From our newspaper:
:rofl2:
Our Lady of Pompei? Is that a George Carlin joke? :sammy:
More voter suppression in my district, where the Bush rubber stamp is apparently pretty worried, to be pulling this shit (note, Ryan McMahon is a Republican on the Syracuse Common Council, and DeFrancisco is a Republican as well).
Yea Travisdem_04 (re voting) — for me not until btw 3:00pm and 6pm my/our PST but Hi:!: 😉 and tea :joe: cheers :alc:
Hey, you think they’re gonna have a Spaghetti supper at Mickey Finn’s? Yeah, this thing is a tradition in these parts.
These Latinos are all here legally or so their papers would lead you to believe..Its just that they are well armed and very well organized. A lot of the older ones were involved in the Nicaragua and San Salvador difficulties in the 1980’s and have some fine souvenirs they took off the guys from the School of the Americas. A fence along the southern border is some rethugs very wet dream.
Oh, man, forget these elections – Brittany’s getting a divorce! This is “breaking news?” Why did I even sign up for those damn things?
WTF. Why is Pat Buchanan on these shows tonight as a Republican attacking the Dems, when his magazine has called for a Dem takeover of the house? You think if we’re really lucky, he’ll get in an argument with himself and choke himself to death? :sammy:
First exit polls show bad news for GOP
RAW STORY
Published: Tuesday November 7, 2006
The first exit polls released by a group of top news agencies have indicated that national issues drove today’s votes by a margin of nearly two-to-one.
While 62% of respondents indicated that national issues made biggest difference in how they cast their votes, just 33% indicated that local issues decided their vote. Republicans had recently been pressing their case that local issues would decide the races.
In what is seen as more bad news for Republicans, corruption ranked as the top issue among those casting ballots, with 42% indicating that concern in that area drove their vote.
Terrorism ranked second, with the economy and Iraq following shortly behind. Of those indicating the war weighed heavily in their vote, 57% said that they disapproved of Bush’s handling of the situation, with just 41% indicating they approved of his performance.
Taxes, an issue President Bush tried to bring to the forefront in recent weeks, did not rate highly among voters.
However, the GOP is warning its supporters not to trust exit poll data, citing their unreliable readings in recent elections.

Ken Blackwell Outsources Ohio Election Results to GOP Internet Operatives, Again
(snip)
As the last ballots are cast tonight, Ohioans will confidently track realtime results using voting equipment and Internet reporting systems that Ken Blackwell built to replace the horrors of hanging chads. Will the electorate choke to find that the architect of Ohio’s Election Night Results Dashboard is an RNC technology strategist and the political intimate of the Bush Dynasty since the 80s? Will a Strickland voter simply resolve to swallow harder on discovering that his realtime election returns may be shipped to his desktop from the GOP Internet operations center in Chattanooga rather than the Ohio OARnet IT servers in Columbus?
When Brutus Buckeye clicks on Blackwell’s Election Night results link, will he recall that his tax dollars were among hundreds of thousands spent by Blackwell on the consulting firm that created the live election returns system was the very same consulting firm behind Bush-Cheney 2004?! Will anyone recognize that Dashboard clicks will be making a roundtrip through Tennessee when SOS J. Kenneth Blackwell throws the right switch on the Internets?

G*DD*MN F**KING Harry Reid!!
Anyone listening to Rachel Maddow? He seemed to be saying that he’s “cautiously optimistic”, but you know, there are these Republican irregularities, and we’re going to make them against the law.
F***ing pussy-ass Democrat!! The time to fight is NOW — not after the Republicans steal another election, but NOW. Is this what the Dem leadership is going to do? I heard Nancy Pelosi is already talking about “reaching across the aisle”.
Have I mentioned today how much I hate these people? ALL of them?

Ballot bedlam: Judge refuses to extend voting hours
Judge refuses to extend voting hours
A Denver district court judge denied the Democrats’ request to extend voting hours due to problems in Denver that are causing delays and turned-away voters.
Judge Sheila Rappaport said she did not have authority to grant the extension.
The judge said this is a problem for the Legislature, not the courts and there is no right to segregate Denver from other counties, which are also having problems.

Nah, I have Nova M on. They have the Velvet Revolution coverage on with Peter B and Brad Friedman.
I’m going to put up an election “results” thread at about 7:00, when the VA polls close. By then, we should know how the real early stuff in IN and KY worked out. Then Ohio closes at 7:30, and CT and PA at 8:00.
Josh Marshall put up this chart – nothing reported as yet, but this will have the results for each state as they come in:

MoveOn Offers $250,000 Reward for Evidence Leading to Voter Fraud Conviction
MoveOn.org Political Action is offering a $250,000 reward for new material evidence leading to a felony conviction for an organized effort of partisan voter suppression or electronic voting fraud.
Throughout the day accusations of election fraud and voter suppression incidents have been flooding into state and federal authorities throughout the country. In Virginia, the FBI has launched a criminal investigation into charges of voter suppression. In 20 Congressional districts, NRCC robocalls appearing to have come from Democrats harassed voters with repeated calls in an apparently coordinated campaign to suppress the vote.

I went out for a bit, and heard some NPR election coverage on the radio. Everything’s going smoothly, a couple minor “glitches” here and there, but all is well in the land of the free and the home of the brave.
Janeane!!
Hey, Keith Olbermann is sharing the desk with Chris Matthews this time on MSNBC. Apparently they’re acknowledging his ever-growing popularity. It might be bearable to watch election results with him.
As long as Kieth doesn’t strangle Matthews as the problems mount during the evening.:eek::paranoid:
Arghh I mised Lawton. 😡
I received different numbers regarding voter turnout in my precinct. I was informed later in the day that in fact turnout was rather low, barely 40% as of 1500 hrs. Since this is a heavily Rethug precinct, perhaps the pigs are staying home and not voting. More news as I get it and I’ll update the Pa. results as I get them.

#60 — Hey, Druid!! :pent: I’ve always been big on mumbling mantras on the prayer beads. Of course, I usually mumble big time every day without the beads (hopefully not loud enough for people to notice .. but, what the heck, the older you get, the less you care :nana: ).
I’m just now catching up on the blog and just had to comment on the praying energy — we all need to contribute on the energetic level and I know we are. It is so great to see returning peeps & new peeps here!!
