Yesterday was a really bad day, for reasons I won’t bore you with. I hope today is better, but I have my doubts.

Frist! Fitz! And other silly announcements of first-dom!
First! (OK, Jill was actually first. I just thought I was. Hi Jill!)
Cenk is claiming that the latest Repig poll shows Fred Thompson in third place behind Guiliani and McCain. Were they polling Law and Order fans? Sheesh.
Hey! What’s with everyone throwing Florida under the bus in yesterday’s thread? Can I move away first?
Jeez, not all of us drive around in pickup trucks with a gun rack in the back and have sex with our sisters.
Before you blow up West Palm Beach, aim at Rush’s house, not at Randi’s. 😀
So Dan has replaced Joel! I liked Joel, but it is WONDERFUL to have Our Boy Dan back and his wonderful laugh. Helps make the realization that Marc is lost to us on radio for good just a bit more bearable. 🙁 :knit2: 😥 😐 😕 🙂
Kevin, You complained when I had you out of there the other day. There is just no pleasing you. At least I gave you and Austin dispensations when we roll, Ralph Kramden at the wheel. People should check their portfolios and ditch stocks in white belts and shoes.
Morning / Evening :yinyang:
Kev…I assume that you will be out of there …though, if you become a mexican citizen and mexico takes over the orange crop and whatever else is down there, maybe you’ll get a better shake by that government than this one….TX has oil…same thing with so many southern spots, so I doubt we’re giving any of that up…
But fla…they can have it….
Yeah…dan pashman!…son of lewis and linda pashman…
I miss Marc…
But Im glad that Dan got a good spot
Looks like Chaing Kai-Shek (long time dictator in Taiwan who died in the early 70s) and his many, many statues are being mothballed. His name is being erased from the streets and place name. Sic semper tyrannis.
Dan’s on the radio? Great! 😀 He deserves a show. When and where?
Hi Melina! :yippee:
Off to the night market. Hope he day finds you well.
Good Morning :joe:
I’m moving into my new house this weekend :yippee: I’m going to be able to keep icecream in the freezer. I’m going to be able to jump up and down without the whole house shaking!
:joe: :joe: :joe: 😮 😮 😯 😯
❓ whatever :sheep: le
The bad thing about sitting at the analysis guys desk is that there is no reason for the performance data to not be ready for the :yuck: Thursday morning meeting 😮
Sounds good KP that doesn’t say much for the old place 😮
AAARRRGGG speaking of performance data must get to work while I can sit down .. :reaper: :reaper:
I never heard these places called sky islands before.
Sam on Sammy Cam seconds ago…
“Folks, it’s possible I’m about to get fired.”
He’s nervous about something. I have not heard the whole show so I don’t know if something happened earlier.
:40: im scared for sams future i better call him up and call him a jerk soon before i cant anymore……
Paschman isn’t a jinx…is he?
😀 that amy winehouse is kinda cute maybe i can do a tour with her 😛
So, who are we contacting at AAR these days? I know we went through this recently but I may have missed it. I’m really getting tired of this. If Sam goes then they will have effectively killed all I love. Fuck them.
Amy doesn’t allow her roadies to drink though, Sean. You’ll have to be sober.
:40: i dont drink when i am driving…… and when i have a day off i will just go away so she doesnt know what i am doing……
i think sam just ran to the bathroom……
KP,
Mark Green is president.
David Bernstein is the new VP of programming.
E-Mail addies are possibly first initial last name at airamericaradio dot com or airamerica dot com.
Maybe dated AAR Contact Info
Thanks Vern, I looked at the ole AAR Contact page and I think most of that is outdated.
OK, Am I being paranoid or technologically retahded or did they kill Sammy Cam pretty fast after the show ended?
 dont know sean ran to the bathroom when sam did……
President Bush enjoys hosting formal state dinners about as much as having a root canal. Or proposing tax increases. So his decision to schedule a mid-April White House gala for Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah signified the president’s high regard for an Arab monarch who is also a Bush family friend.
Now the White House ponders what Abdullah’s sudden and sparsely explained cancellation of the dinner signifies. Nothing good — especially for Condoleezza Rice’s most important Middle East initiatives — is the clearest available answer.

Attack of the Music Mafia
More and more people are listening to online radio these days, with overall listening time per person coming close to equaling that of terrestrial radio. Music aficionados are enjoying the eclectic and distinct genres that they can access with the simple click of a mouse. Listeners can also tune in terrestrial radio stations from other cities, in case they feel the KISS-FM in Chicago is better than the one in L.A. or Dallas. For many fans, this is about as close to heaven on earth as they can get. The ability to have so many listening choices at one’s disposal was likely once a whacked-out dream inside someone’s head. And with the growth of WiFi and portable technology, webcasting could someday go wherever we go.
But, things can’t ever possibly be this good. A dark cloud looms over the horizon. Soon, music fans could be deprived of the rich sounds and wildly varied styles and genres of music coming through their computer speakers. They could be without the bossa nova, lounge and other forms of exotic content provided by LuxuriaMusic. Or the not-too-commercial content of FolkAlley. Or the deep selection of 80s new wave hits served up by Java Jane. Yes, this burgeoning media form could come to a grinding halt soon, if lawyers and lobbyists in Washington, DC get their way.

so now they make a 120 gig hd xbox 360…… and the bastards are charging 180 for the 120 gig hd as a seperate add on……
:penguin:

Hey! “Back To Black,” the new Amy Winehouse CD, slips a bit in its second week on the Billboard album chart, but stays in the top 10. And I helped! 😀

Hola, me seditionists bloggren!
I am finally auto-enabled. It’s not a hybrid. It’s not a high-mileage car. It’s not a hip looking thing. But I could afford it and I like it. And it’s comfy inside.
It’s a 2006 Taurus. Statistics (a friend of mine read them off to me…) show that owners of the 2006 Taurus are generally gardeners, walkers, and Republicans. This means I have to get some radical bumper stickers REALLY SOON.
Gotta get back to work now. That Woman is still out. It’s beyond annoyance now and all the way to sick worry. I’m afraid she might be dying. Don’t wish that on anyone I work with. Don’t wish that on most anyone. Maybe on Rove and Cheney. Maybe. But not for sure. Maybe just wish them changes of heart. In Cheney’s case, though, that’s a given and never seems to work.
yay gypsy! :yippee: :pup: That means an extra room for yarn right? :knit: I’ll be on the lookout for cool bumperstickers
:knit:
Even NPR loves it.
Amy Winehouse Debuts with ‘Back to Black’
Fresh Air from WHYY, March 28, 2007 · Amy Winehouse is a 23 year-old British singer-songwriter who takes much of her inspiration from American soul and R&B. Her American debut album, Back To Black, topped the British charts and hit the American charts at number seven.
Bob Barr, who as a Georgia congressman authored a successful amendment that blocked D.C. from implementing a medical marijuana initiative, has switched sides and become a lobbyist for the Marijuana Policy Project.
But that doesn’t mean he has become a bong-ripping hippie. He isn’t pro-drug, he said, just against government intrusion.
“I, over the years, have taken a very strong stand on drug issues, but in light of the tremendous growth of government power since 9/11, it has forced me and other conservatives to go back and take a renewed look at how big and powerful we want the government to be in people’s lives,†Barr said.

This is un-f’ing unbelievable…then again maybe not.
A new plan for layoffs at Circuit City is openly targeting better-paid workers, risking a public backlash by implying that its wages are as subject to discounts as its flat-screen TVs.
Thanks again to everyone for all the advice yesterday. The oil of oregano really seems to be doing the job! I can actually breathe again.
For all you Goyim out there.
More room for yarn and even for Faraday, although I’m not sure I want him on the cloth seats.
And it gets such good mileage I’m tempted to drive to LA for the seder Marc’s performing at. It sounds like such a hoot! Although horseradish creme fraiche sounds kind of nasty…
Cops are Jerks :jerk: and I can really proclaim that since I workED at Northern Central CA P.D. AND S.O. and worED on a task force with top acquaintance/friend, the Head of CA ATF (I know his call # [then]- (My path has been strange 🙄 ). Jerks :jerk: now! at EPD
BUT I WON ❗ :yippee: :pirate:  :billcat: :dancers:
One-Eye-Jack [aka Mr. Misty] had been missing for 3 days [last night]. Night before last I head a few meows but it did not continue … so I thought it was twits from across tiny lil street, which they do constantly. The creeps are “decent good” with “cat calls” (teehee). When I was calling and giving the “stray” call, I immediately heard Screaming Meows. I was not completely sure if it was O-E-Jack — but it was extremely agitated.
They were putting everything off regarding the cat until after 8am and Animal Control which has shown it is just a job.
End result after staying on their behinds :growl: cat was released [by “special cop key” 🙄 ]
After “scaring” One Eye Jack to hide in house further and. Animal Control Officer told me to try while the cop said I scared him and go outside NOW. 🙄 I looked straight at him and said in truth he scared the cat. Yes, I said, I will go outside and call him out. Which I did. He ran out but would only go as far as he could see me. So I spoke him across the street, and as I pull top off of wet food, and the cops were going to cars, I said thanks for opening the door and O.E. Jack had followed me back here [as I fed him].
[a jab at cop-jerk :jerk: ] (A bit ago)
Eek, now re the animal murders from Chinese Rat Poison. :smack: :omg: . Casualty . Feline Underground … cool 8)
hey all…Sammys show was so freakin great today, I cant imagine that hes on the chopping block…but if he is, then it makes sense that Marc is finished with them.
Im trying out Rachel Maddow again, but honestly, I had to shut it off after a few moments.
If Id prefer to listen to leo laporte and diggnation (which is really one of Will and my favorite podcasts lately…its funny…thats why)
than rachel.
John Mccain is just precious isnt he?
Watching kieth
John McCain and his wife have transparent skin. Me and my friend saw them at Katz’s Deli on Mothers Day a couple of years ago.
Ha! This is what happens when you steal other people’s bandwidth.
