Ordinarily, Sundays piss me off (especially when it’s not football season), because all I can think about its that I have to go work the next day. Not today, though, since I have tomorrow off. It’ll be the last day off I get until the fourth of July. But anyway….
On Press the Meat, Timmy Potatohead hosts Bill Richardson (who’s really looking better and better to me as a candidate, though I doubt he’ll win) for the full hour.
At CBS, Bush Buddy Bobby Schieffer has Carl Levin, redneck Jeffy “no the penguin” Sessions, and Kimberly “bull” Dozier.
Over at Fux News Sunday, it’s an all-Republican kinda day for Weaselface Wallace, as he has Mike “Huckleberry” Huckabee, faux moderate Arlen Specter, and the rather disgusting Kay Bailey Hutchison.
On the Goebbels Network, George Snufalufagus hosts U.S. commerce secretary Carlos “don’t call me Alberto” Gutierrez, NJ Senator, Bob Menendez, and some guy named Jim Gilmore, who is apparently one of the forty-seven Republicans running for preseident. Then, at the roundtable, it’s LA Times columnist Ron Brownstein, Donna “it’s people like me that are stopping Al Gore from running again” Brazile, ABC News hack Jake Tapper, and George :jerk: Will. Then we’ll hear from Beth and Michael Belle, whose son, Nicholas, died in Afghanistan on Mother’s Day two years ago at the age of 21.
At CNN, Wolf Bitzer’s Late Emission consists of the always entertaining Charlie Rangel, the ever-closeted Duncan “donuts” Hunter, Senator MBNA Joseph Biden, mouthpiece for the coalition of the willing, Maj. Gen. William Caldwell, Pakistani Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz, and a collection of CNN hacks and professional pontificators.
Later, on 60 Minutes, the hour is devoted to Scott Pelley, who follows around the 1st Battalion of the 133rd Infantry of the Iowa National Guard in Iraq.
No Simpsons, Family Guy, or American Dad tonight. Instead it’s… Fucking NASCAR. Whoo-hoo! There’s also no Sopranos on tonight, but on HBO at nine, it’s the premiere of Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee, an adaptation of of the book by Dee Brown, that looks to be very good. I just don’t know if I have the heart to watch it.
Enjoy your Sunday.
First? It must really be slow.
Everybody’s marinating their meats.
Or chopping veggies.
It says here that one thousand of our soldiers have died since the last memorial day, and for what? New Car Dollar Days and stainless steel barbecues. Now, that’s my definition of pornography.
I’m gonna be a lot of fun today at the bi-yearly political scream-off. :sammy:
Good Morning :joe:
How did your show go Painting Girl?

Sue P , I have Danu Babe’s pix, so …
— I believ I scan’d into Word, thus analytically, I should be able to attach the file, but that is theory only =
— I need your email address
— it is 50% that I will “get it” correct, regarding “the sending”.
I am not totally pedestrian and pathetic — I am this way when working on certain “other” projects.

Against his doctor’s advice, a stooped and feeble state Sen. Mario Gallegos Jr. (D) arrives at the Texas Capitol each day, just to make sure his chamber does not take up a bill that would require voters to produce identification at the polls.
And when the rigors of the job start to wear on Gallegos, whose body is trying to reject a liver transplanted four months ago, he retires to a hospital-style bed — donated by a Republican colleague — in a room next to the Senate chambers.
From there, he can be summoned at a moment’s notice, should his vote be needed to keep the bill from reaching the floor.

Employees of Blackwater USA, a private security firm under contract to the State Department, opened fire on the streets of Baghdad twice in two days last week, and one of the incidents provoked a standoff between the security contractors and Iraqi forces, U.S. and Iraqi officials said.
A Blackwater guard shot and killed an Iraqi driver Thursday near the Interior Ministry, according to three U.S. officials and one Iraqi official who were briefed on the incident but spoke on condition of anonymity because of a pending investigation. On Wednesday, a Blackwater-protected convoy was ambushed in downtown Baghdad, triggering a furious battle in which the security contractors, U.S. and Iraqi troops and AH-64 Apache attack helicopters were firing in a congested area.

If it’s like the old show, you have to get the stream going first, and then use the URL finder to get the actual stream link, which is a unique URL generated per user that is only good for a certain period of time.

What a pleasure to hear Sam.
PJ, how is the new job?
Oh, it’s OK, I guess. It’ll take me a while to get it all figured out.
Melina, please forgive me my ignorance. I made a mental note on Friday to read RIPCoco because I noticed you had a new post, then promptly forgot to do it until a few minutes ago.
XOXO Kev!
Right back at cha. :parrot:
Hello, :sheep: le. Hot damn, it’s good to hear Sam. They’d better put up the podcast later, because I missed the first hour. I am not going to live tied to a PC to stream because our so-called affiliate would rather run infomercials than Sam.
Just sitting here having hotflashes :hot: and trying to get it together to get some Powerpoint stuff done that I couldn’t do during the week because the Dem vote on Iraq had me so angry I couldn’t focus on work.
Melina, that little bird looks like he’s wearing a tutu. :dancers:

hey ….howz it going?
Hey Melina. The internets have been very slow.
My Internet tubes seem to be pretty clear, but the global index isn’t too great today.
Opera Speed Dial!! 8)
Yeah, one of my favorite Opera features.
I didn’t notice anything in the tracert but my connection speed is about half what it should be, for about 24 hours now.
Roswell 1947
Many will recall that on July 8, 1947, witnesses claimed that an unidentified object with five aliens aboard crashed onto a sheep and cattle ranch just outside Roswell, New Mexico. This is a well-known incident that many say has long been covered up by the U.S. Air Force and the federal government. :tinfoil:
However, what you may NOT know is that in the month of March, 1948, exactly nine months after that historic day, George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfield, Bill O’Reilly, Rush Limbaugh, Condolezza Rice, and Dan Quyale were all born.
This is what happens when aliens breed with sheep. :sheep:
