Today is the best day of the week. It’s the only day of the week you don’t have to work today, and you don’t have to work tomorrow. Unless you do have to work today, in which case, it sucks to be you.

I think that if they had an election in which you had the choice between enforcing the immigration laws with the implication that that would result in a surcharge added to your taxes for the actual cost of implementation or doing nothing all these thugbots would immediately shut up. :fustrate: :paranoid:

KPHX has the best of the AirAmericans on .. Riley seems like if he was on the air and news of 400 incoming ICBMs came over the wire he would get up and go get another Latte. and continue on with his monologue ..
Hey Fred and Andy. It’s gonna be 101 here today. That’s normal and it feels like 80 in the pool! :yippee:
I take it you have to work today, Andy. :smack:
Did you hear Marc with Riley last week? It was just like the old days.
Yeah I get Saturday off .. but then .. I have to do the laundry.. mow the grass , go to the grocery store, clean the bathrooms.. and … and … and…
Sometimes work is more fun than the day off.
Riley flying solo is pretty bland .. with Marc he was as you said just like the old days… He needs help.. lots of help..
It’s true, Cheney runs on a battery and they are going to open his chest in order to replace it.
http://www.boston.com/news/nation/washington/articles/2007/06/09/doctors_to_replace_cheney_pacemaker/
Wouldn’t that be funny if they cut him open and replaced the batteries and the pacemaker and sewed him up only to realize they put the batteries in backwards :rofl2: Or if the surgeon accidentally replaced the pacemaker with his ipod and Cheney can’t stop dancing. ๐
I think they should try charging the battery in place .. Try connecting 7700 volts ac across his ear and his dong .. it would be fun watching him light up .. for a second or two at least. :reaper:
Yeah..hubby’s working today. ๐ Ah landscaping…ya go where the work is…but he likes it!
And I get a girls’ day out!
Wireless power may cut some wires, batteries:
MIT researchers said Thursday they will soon be able to charge a computer or cell-phone battery from across a room, perhaps making the annoyance of wires or dead batteries a thing of the past.
Massachusetts Institute of Technology scientists and their wireless energy transfer technology may soon eliminate wires that tether our machines to wall sockets, or may keep batteries topped up and ready to go.
“This invention could free us from power cables and ideally replace batteries to a good extent, at least in the context of a home or office setting,” said Aristeidis Karalis, a student member of the MIT team that worked four years on the problem.
The team at MIT, a top US academic laboratory, has shown their fledgling “WiTricity” technology can power a 60 watt bulb from a power source two meters (seven feet) away.
That is enough juice to power an average laptop, said Marin Soljacic, a professor of physics at MIT in Cambridge, Massachusetts, who called the experiment a “major milestone.”

You can steal power from the utility’s by building one side of a transformer into the ground under high voltage transmission lines.
The more power the end user uses the bigger the magnetic field and the bigger the share you can steal. :reaper: :reaper:

MIT is characterized as a very conservative University.. Several years ago three graduate students went to China to consult with the Chinese government on improving technical education in there university system .. Upon their return they we amazed at how fast China was growing and marveled at an invention they saw . It seemed that they used a device to pull their trains that used just coal and water and no oil at all . It seemed to burn the coal which heated the water to make steam which then moved a piston .. and… :smack:

when i get sick of monitoring global BS i turn to local stuff and more personal levels of reality.
sometimes i soak in a small win. i spent a half hour just downwind of a blooming Rhody probably 60 years old that was delicately scented and full of bees, some that i had brought into the hood and loads of honey bees!
felt so good. the doggers were poking around the lot fairly quiet and doing their doggie thing.

Hey Krista, have you heard the Grinderman CD yet? Nick Cave’s side project.
No Kev, I thought I heard something about that recently. I’ll have to pick that up. I must own everything Nick Cave!
Greetings.
That many hour gap of activity last night and this morning made me think perhaps everyone had secretly adjourned to another blog. I did see some MSblog alumni carrying on and involking as in days of old in Sederville in the wee hours.
Does anyone use Scroogle?

What Baloneyo and Kennedy fail to point out is that the Iraqi carbon deal is only valid as long as the current government is in office .( in both places ) I doubt that the European courts would uphold it even if ours manages to stay in power. :gate: :omg: :jason: :fist:

It is still my premise that with fascism having an effect on both sides of the political fence that the only way you are going to straighten it out is
1. Piss off someone with nuclear weapons in such a way that they use them on us.. ( push the master reset)
2. Piss off some one that imports enough oil that they turn it off on us. ( pull the plug on the crap shoot and repeat the 1930s)
3. Someone has to push back in such a way that the sociopathic elite are the ones hiding under their beds sucking their thumbs and stay there for some time to come. ( vestiges of France era 1780) :gate: :omg: :jason: :jason: :fist:

Dennis was AWESOME! What a great guy and open and honest. A lawyer asked him about building 7 and if he believes it was demolished and Dennis asked the crowd who was for re opening the 9/11 investigation and the whole crowd went nuts! Another guy(I think it was this guy that calls in to Jeff’s show a lot) asked him very forcefully what he was gonna do to get the truth out, Dennis was magnificent! So I got pics but it’s a good thing I didn’t choose a career as a photographer because even with a digital camera I got a lot of half closed eyes shots and half head shots. I’m gonna go through them and put the “good” ones up. ๐
I got a couple of devil eye shots too :smack:
