So, the documents are out on the AT&T spy room. According to Wired:
“This configuration appears to have the capability to enable surveillance and analysis of internet content on a massive scale, including both overseas and purely domestic traffic,” Marcus wrote.
AT&T likely has 15 to 20 of these rooms around the country, shipped data out of the rooms via a separate network to another location and collectively, the rooms were able to keep tabs on some 10% of the nation’s purely domestic intenret traffic, according to Marcus.
I guess ten percent isn’t much. As long as you’re not in the ten percent.
Oh, and Happy Flag Day.

:yuck: Its Thursday again :sheep: le
SO how does one communicate with Ms Joy Druid . ❓ ❓ ❓ . I don’t have and do not desire to have a Myspace account ., 😮 😯
An Hour or two ago when I woke up knowing I was going to have to get up in 45 minutes or so I turned on the radio and got the station at 770 Khz out of Albuquerque in place of KKZN ..
As I layed there KKZN drifted in and out and I got a mixture of Ms Rant and George Nory.. George was talking to someone about the earth being taken over by Reptilians .. It was almost hard to discern ( other than by Ms Rants distinctive accent) which program was which .. 😮 😮 😯 😯
It is too bad that the Nit Yit Times keeps Krugman a secret and makes people pay to read him.. :gate: :omg: :jason: :jason:
In this time of alternate realities the stock market (NYSE) and its associated “economy” has not much to do with “the economy” in the SBR..
The whole thing much like the actual unemployment rate is a gigantic lie . .. The stock market is doing well mostly based on Oil Company ,the financial service sector, Insurance company and big pharma profits. They are making there big bucks from consolidation and ripping off the rest of us. :reaper: :reaper:
The M$M uses the fact that people don’t compare notes and never go into the inner city from there cozy homes in the burbs to make everything look rosy so they contunue to consume as if everything was super duper
As we transition from state and local governments controlled by the Reich to ones controlled by the reich or heaven help us those slightly to the left the new politicians know what is happening but now live in fear of putting that info out there because they would have an anomaly, people would stop consuming , sales tax revenues would drop, city and state governments would have to curtail services , they might have to do something about the problem and they would get crucified by the local Reich wing media. :gate: :jason: :jason:
There are a lot of retired Amerikans that never interact with anyone, get 90% of what they think they know from the M$M and live in denial of what they read and hear from the alternate media ( if they even know about the alternate media) In many cases their economy is geared around the NYSE economy so they are doing well. The other 80%.. well the sewer is beginning to ( metaphorically) overflow and run down through the weed patch which was the front lawn and down the middle of the street. :reaper: :reaper:
Kristipea-thanks for the website- pretty dramatic graphics about listings vs sales. Not quite buzzflash but real-estate is the key to the whole economy that we’re floating on (although our little raft is losing air)
americanowviewer- that was more like a collection of sites. I’m looking for something with screaming headlines telling me what’s importent to know- tho I’m already overamped as it is just watching the msm :omg:
I have to wonder where all those people who are getting foreclosed on are living..?? There was already a shortage of affordable apartment rentals or perhaps it trickles down so that the people who were living in the apartments faced with a 20% increase in rental rates are now living in their cars. :reaper: :reaper:
Ray Taliferro on KGO is a believer that what was described in the PNAC plans for the middle east are still going to happen .. I don”t think that Mr Putin and the Mr Hu will let that happen . If Bush does attack Iran I would survey for the place in your back yard to dig the hole to hide in .. and practice kissing you ass good by. . :reaper: :reaper:
If you look at the NYSE in 2000 it was over 10,000 then so in seven years it has increased only by about 35 percent. Inflation has been at about 3.5 % during that time so your fantastic economy has only gained about 10% in value. Compounded interest at 6% would have done about the same. Before the bust housing prices had gone up by more than 30% :reaper: :reaper:
Hey Fred, I regularly send out the select op eds to a bunch of people, including friends in Stockholm and some people on this very board…so if you want to get it as I am able a couple-few times a week send me your addy at doubter at optonline dot net

One thing that got me last night while I was troubleshooting this cable/Dell problem was this news that we’ve got half a miillion people on the terrorist watch list….and growing…
how soon till we’ve got a couple of million on there and theyve got to be disposed of to protect the motherland?
Its a slippery slope.
very scary….
But I dont think we’ll all fit in Israel!
Tea Cheers All
I am still trying to get my brain around what PJ said above! Bloody Hell Fred EK 😮 :fu: :growl: :fist:
re 7 I wonder that myself ::Silent Scream:: :omg:
Good morning :joe: So, I had a vivid dream this morning about gliders of death. I was in a building with some people and I looked out the window and saw the sky filled with these triangular glider shapes all swooping in trailing gas behind them. As the gas spread I told everyone to get into the middle of the building and close all doors to the rooms on the outer parts of the building. As we stood there in the dark my chest started feeling tight and it was getting hard to breath. Then I awoke. I wonder if that was precipitated by a story I heard on Jeff Farias’ show yesterday about another under reported story about China gearing up for war because Bush went to Taiwan and shook hands with their leader. :omg:
My farther-lefty friends hate what I said six months ago, that Prez Hillary is a near certainty. Now smarter people than me [i.e. nearly everybody] are moving, ever so slowly, in this direction: http://www.mydd.com
And according to the Prince of Darkness, Bob Novak, McCain is sinking like a stone, in spite of his selling his soul to the devil. Apparently, the devil wants a sales commission, a bonus and a bribe on top of the bust-out retail price. How’s that for the definition of a loser? :sammy:
Kristapea, Tea Cheers , you shouldn’t say things like that around me ::boo:: :rofl2: :omg: :rofl2: 😉
cresttwo , ultimately, for me it is whomever is left standing — and whomever Gore wants ( ); however, I hope he uses all running in positions of power “to build” upon. … but I do not think we can wait until the election. 👿 bush and his 👿 adm is “stirring the evil 👿 brew” ………. :growl: :fist: A!I!V!

The info that Hillary is moving to lead the pack is either an indication that the pollster is pulling it out of his a* or that the people they polled are all IGNORANT MORONS
Hardly anyone that calls into our fantastic left sided media think Hillary is worth the powder to BHTH :reaper: :reaper:
In a fanciest state the corporations and pollsters are corporations are in cahoots with the politicians so almost anything you hear from the “media” can be anything from the truth to very biased to an outright lie. Everyone likes going with the winner so they can just say the real front runner is losing big and who is say anything different is true. Its all the version of alternate reality that is provided to us by an Orwellian state. :reaper: :reaper:
I find it hard to believe that you can get any kind of real sample when you poll only a thousand people or so at random.. Did they count all those who said … errr. whats a Hillary ?? .. an Obama , ?? :fustrate: :paranoid:
Polling inside some political blog is probably even worse than having a pollster lie to you.. I’m sure KOS thought their anti war demodrop they ran against LIEberman was a sure winner .. Look what happened there. :reaper: :reaper:
but…
If you take Sam’s favorite person Marcos as a good example of the people at KOS they fit well into the IM category.. :barf: :crap: :fustrate: :paranoid:
MOVING SUCKS! But I think I’m done finally. Recycled a lot of old electronics, donated three suits and two boxes of clothing to Friends of Strays, and spent six, count ’em six, hours lugging stuff from my old place to the dumpster. I’m tired, hungry, and I stink. But at least I’m done.
No Wino Watch this week, I’m too damn tired. This is no way to spend a vacation. For the three or so people who care, Amy fell from 6-9 on this week’s chart, but actually sold 30,000 more copies than she did last week.
Now I’m going to the NEW place to un-stink, de-hungry, and sink to the bottom of several :40: :40: :40: :40: :40:
Amy would be proud.
congratulat’ons on all the moving guys…its so horrible!…I never want to move again, but I always hope to have a slightly larger place someday to fit more…um…animals;-)
Scooter went to jail today! Couldnt have happened to a more deserving guy!
I actualy got my teacher presents done and delivered…and Im sinking into throat/cough sickness that Will has had (and is worse now because he dragged himself to school today!)
went to pik up Ben from a school trip today because the buses got back late and he missed the regular school bus….his mom is sick because she ran o0ut of blood pressure meds…is so sick with that pressure headache and the Dr wont refill her meds unless she shes him.
She doesnt have health insurance and didnt have the 90$ to see him, so shes been without meds for over a week!
trying to wait till her check comes next week from her work….now she had to turn down another job as a home health companion (that keeps her from her kids overnight, and often for days at a time)
and so…shes taking her chances…
Ben and the 2 grandkids would be alone if she got sick…and then they would cost the fucking government SO much more than just giving the woman some sort of reasonable health care!
So, of course I lent her the $ so she could go get the medicine tomorrow! Its only the second time in 5 years that she has asked me to lend her money….the last time she paid me back right away…
We really have to get this universal health care thing happening!
Of course I lay out alot of $ for ben but I always downplay it…and she always offers him cash and offers to pay for stuff….
It worries me…those 3 kids rely on her and I cant see how anyone makes it…
Turns out Ben has no health insurance either. I cant figure that out because CT offers this program that Will is on. Its very expensive if youre middle class but should be close to free for the poor…maybe its that she keeps trying to work and makes just enough to make her have a payment that she couldnt possibly make. Ours is twice what our private insurance payment used to be, and the insurance covers very little.
Did anyone see Rescue Me last nite?
If you missed it, try to catch it in one of the reruns…its so great!
Ah! Nothin’ like moving in the summer, huh Kevin! :hot: So, what are your new digs like? Is it an apt or house? I almost always end up moving in the summer. I remember one summer when I was moving all my stuff in an old 64 Chevy Biscayne and after several trips in 110 degrees and no air conditioning i was quite gritty. I reached a point by afternoon where I was so dirty and disgusting I started to like it. It’s too bad that furniture and other things that everyone uses can’t just be left with the previous home so that if everyone did that no one would have to move so much stuff.
Follow the money

and for all of you moving and sweltering K People
