Alright folks, time to get out there and stimulate the economy. I can’t, because I have to wait for the satellite guy to come. Sometime between eight and noon. Of course, if I’d happened to sleep in a little late (never happen; why is it when I have to get up and go to work, all I want to do is stay in bed, but when I can sleep in, I’m wide awake at the crack of dawn), he’d be here at 8 on the dot, but since I’m up and ready, he’ll be here two minutes to twelve. Oh well, beats going to work.

Enjoy :joe: …and One could always have a DARLING {but acting like a twit} BETA hybid that does not Want to go Outside — “Ohhhh it’s chilly out” — The Alphas NEVER would have acted so …mushy :smack: 🙄 :fustrate: … :growl: A!I!V! I hope you had a grand day … WHEN YOU ARE BACK … how is Hubby doing? (You also are the other one which says “Hubby” ..Tres 8) )

Good Morning all, I had a great time at my brothers yesterday, I hope everyone’s TG was just as nice. Debating if I’m going to brave the wilds of Kohl’s to get a couple of area rugs. I really think it’ll help keep the house warm.
Good morning! Does everyone feel like shopping today? :jerk:
Well its supposed to only get into the high 20s here today with SNOW this afternoon.. Lovely indoors shopping whether.
While the high end retailers seem to be licking their chops the other retailers are all living in dread of what is going to happen today.. :reaper: :reaper:
The news meda of course just shows the lines outside of Nordstroms. :yuck:
Mmm! I get pumpkin pie for breakfast!
Good morning, Druid. I hope your Thanksgiving was fun and tasty.
As you know, I have 2 dogs. One, the german shepherd will go out in any weather. Snow, sleet, hurricanes, she heads into the wind and pulls me along.
The other dog, a lab-chow mix, has to be dragged out if it is even drizzling. She likes to wear a coat if it’s chilly and a slicker if it’s raining.
I have to walk them separately. :smack:
Hubby is healing. He can now get his foot flat on the floor and he’s hobbling much faster. I don’t think he’s very happy. He complains about not getting exercise and I know he feels bad that all the everyday stuff that he used to do is now my job.
Yesterday a screw that keeps a part of the door lock in place decided to pop out. I couldn’t screw it back in because there seemed to be nothing for it to grab onto. So, I used my favorite construction medium: duct tape. Hubby just kept saying,”I’ve got to start walking again. Duct tape can’t keep the house together.”
He’s wrong, you know. Duct tape can keep anything together and it comes in pretty colors.
Have I mentioned yet how much I HATE these people?

Darn Sue, where were you when my marraige fell apart? 😆
I have circular duct tape. Not sure how that’s more useful than strips but I thought it was kinda cool. I was gonna make duct tape smileys. 😀
Re: 10 :paranoid:
I have circular duct tape.
splane please .. most duct tape comes in rolls but I don’t think that is what you are talking about.. :nixon:
I can see how duct tape could save a marriage.. one could tie up the other party so that they can’t get to the phone to call the lawyer. :reaper: :reaper:

😀
I have duct tape shaped like circles, like a plate.
Fred, knows hahaha Duct. Yet if one wets it (like with rain  ) it will release. 😯 :rofl2:
Ahhh Sue P. your hubby is going to hate me. Do “dumb-bells”, to have control and not loose muscle. I do other forms now but finally got hubby and friends to really realize — NO ONE NEEDS A GYM. :pup: :pup:
Kristapea, ohhhhhh colours. … :tap: A!I!V! :dancers: of :reaper:
Andy aka Aquaman, thank you — I keep files on this….
I feel guilty. I am a “Rev” Druid and should be “out there” as I was in ’80’s. … I am trying to find time for 2d Life … since Pope said to Bishops worldwide to “proselytize”. I do not want to proselytize, just to show a different path. But no time to “learn” on what to do except to basic “fly”. :smack: No time 😥
ARREST! IMPEACH! NOW! then V! Let’s Get This Party Started

Sorry, I knew The P word was mispelt, but I was to look up, then to forget 😮 I haven’t spelt since 80’s. :smack:
With a roll of duct tape and the MacGyver Multitool, you can do anything. Of course, a big fuckin’ hammer comes in pretty handy, too.
11:39, and still waiting…. :tap:
:tap:
awwwww Call them … probably lost 🙄 or to busy before weekend. Call them and say “what are they going to give you for wasting YOUR Precious (work?) Time?” … (since was suppose to be there before 12:00pm).
Sorry (that’s why people call me :rofl2: The Bitch Pitbull :pirate: :yippee: :rofl2: :rofl2: ) :rofl2: A!I!V! :growl:
it is 1:01 your time 😮
Showed up a 12:30, and he’s working on it now. I don’t like to bitch, because he’s a working guy, out in the snow and cold on the day after Thanksgiving, and I don’t want to cause him any grief. Been out there in the cold and snow myself, so I know what it’s like.
I was surprised that you could get the installer to work on the day after Thanksgiving… Only the ONK ONK Squeal Squeal crowd usually works today. :reaper: :reaper:
I think this guy form Denver that calls Thom is someone that the state reich party HQ put in a make him do something to keep him busy and quiet job. Having a party platform is important only up until the time the candidates are elected then they have two , four or six years to do pretty much anything they want. The IDIOT MORONS more often than not don’t pay attention and what are they to do if they discover what is really going on ?? :reaper: :reaper:

Don’t forgot the bailing wire.
Shame on me, I did some shopping today. Actually, it was necessary, as the cafeteria at work will be closed for the next month because they’re changing vendors, so I have to bring food everyday and was in need of more containers.
The Target I went to wasn’t super-crowded, but the plaza it’s in isn’t really close to anything else. I would imagine it’s a lot nastier closer to the malls.
Shit! I forgot to check the final score of Akron vs. Central Michigan. The Zips were winning when I left. Hardly anyone was in the stands at the Rubber Bowl… it looked really cold and was snowing off and on. Once I was marching a halftime show there and my horn froze! I had to pump an entire bottle of valve oil through it to get it to work.
Anyway, I’ll be back with the final in a few.
PJ, I do not bitch at the workers, just the ones who send the workers out — I ask for supervisors. It is just most supervisors missuse both the workers and waitees (ex: me). (I call around 3pm.) I and others have waited on a Friday to have NO One show up until a Monday or even a Tuesday. I was nicer in my 20’s and 30’s not so nice since back in town (most work ethics lack horribly now in this society– me saying that from an ex-boss perspective) and except to workers that do not make fun of me as a woman or my signs or my cats or my rats and who are not super :paranoid: of Danu…which I have extreme control — she’s there to watch over a 5’3&3/4″ fine bone woman soooo ……. all the workers — who are always warned I have a HUGE “DOG” — and, to come accordingly.
Sorry, I didn’t write earlier, but I sadly am trying to get “a thing” done this weekend and was working elsewhere. A!I!V! So is “it” working now … cool 8) …
(People make fun and hurt women in Northern California alot. 🙁 ) especially if one “does not fall into line or as my 85 plus year old friend has been horribly abused – by that mentality. Also as have so many younger women — just usually even abused by rethug workers, mostly in certain “places” in CA, I guess.)
SHIT!!!!
Central Michigan 35
Akron 32
Akron finishes the season at 4-7 (I think). But they made the NCAA soccer tournament! They have a home game Wednesday. GO ZIPS!
The SOCCER team made the soccer tournament. The football team did not make the soccer tournament. Just to clarify. Sorry for the sloppy sentence structure. :smack:

But there’s a difference. We HAVE to eat. You could always go commando! :hubba:
A correction to my earlier post. With today’s loss, Akron sinks to 4-8 for the season, not 4-7. I forgot that everyone plays 12 games now. A small error, but I don’t want to post inaccurate information, as this is not Fox.
Not when it’s only 67 degrees out there! :cold:

KP —
Your blood must be pretty thin from living in Aridzona, but that’s pretty understandable considering the horrendous summer that you have been through. :omg:
It is frigid & icy & snowy here :cold: — I need to find my Long Johns! :cold:
Maybe you’d better invest in a pair if you can find a Target that carries winter underwear in sunny Aridzona — 67 degrees — geez :hot: — Never gets that hot inside this house in the winter! :hot:
The HD teevee is :nixon: AWESOME :nixon: but no DVR recordings yet so tonights viewing is all with (yuck :yuck: :tap: ) commericals which I DESPISE :growl: .
TeeHee .. ahhhh Kristapea has it rough. :rofl2: it’s 67 degrees there. :cold:
I live near the coast. I should be wearing Long Johns but I no longer layer. The long johngs is what I use as tops and put on under skirt. Why skirt …. I use to dance since a wee child and seriously when 14-17 through college — ending in ’83, plus I just like the “swish”. :hubba:
East coasters are PROS, I would think in the snow.
And PJ, RG, Fred, Artnorton, Sue P, and Kevin M? and so many others Layerers: :pup: :pirate: :yippee:
Downstairs but inside it is 47 degrees (haven’t started fire, but may not since will be exercising while watching “Ghost Whisperer”, but I want to be under blankets while watching “Moonlight”. Warm and cozy. And to NOT fall asleep, which I usually do. 😉 .. :fist: A!I!V! The HD teevee is AWESOME but no DVR :pup: :cat: 8)
The forecast for tonight on Shelter Island is low 20’s. :cold:
Thank goodness I get to just let the dogs out here. Of course one loves going out. The other has to be pushed. But, I’d rather push her out than take a walk on the windy Brooklyn waterfront.
Mrs A and I went for a walk today- 23 degrees and a 15 mph wind out of the north under gray skies. I had the wool hat and the ski gloves but not the stretch longjohns- we gave up after 20 minutes :cold: :cold:
Bought the kid a sportsjacket for his football banquet @ Macy’s 50% off- great deal
