I wish I could blow off Huckabee so easily but I think he would make a formidable candidate- he’s the strongest candidate the thugs have. He can sell himself as a truly compassionate conservative and talk code talk to the religofascists.

I tried to catch the Maron/Seder show today. It was OK for a while, but then just degraded to constant buffering and rebuffering, so I had to turn it off.
Probably more to do with the bandwidth being throttled down here than it is a problem at their end.
Oh well.
If Obama ends up being the candidate it will interesting to see exactly how much advancement has been made in the south and TexASS in terms of protecting voting rights of minorities.. I have a feeling the thugs will come out in force to make it as hard as possible for people in the ghetto’s of blacks and Hispanics to figure if they can and if so figure out when and where to vote. :reaper: :reaper:

Screw waiting. Here’s a :menorah: cookie recipe, uncredited because the #@$%%$^%$^%$%%$ big company that owns Chanukkahrecipe.com pissed me off! :rant1: :tommygun: :fustrate:
1/3 cup powdered sugar
1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened
2/3 cup honey
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 egg
2 3/4 cups Gold Medal® all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
Easy Almond Glaze
2 cups powdered sugar
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
2 to 3 tablespoons water
Blue Decorator Frosting
1 cup powdered sugar
3 to 5 teaspoons water
Blue food color
1. Heat oven to 375ºF. Lightly grease cookie sheet. In large bowl, mix 1/3 cup powdered sugar, the butter, honey, 1 teaspoon almond extract and egg. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt until well blended.
2. On lightly floured, cloth-covered surface, roll dough 1/8 inch thick. Cut with cookie cutters. Place about 1 inch apart on cookie sheet.
3. Bake 7 to 8 minutes or until light brown. Immediately remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 15 minutes.
4. For almond glaze, in medium bowl, mix 2 cups powdered sugar, 1/4 teaspoon almond extract and 2 tablespoons water until smooth. Stir in remaining 1 tablespoon water, 1 teaspoon at a time, until spreadable.
5. For blue frosting, in another medium bowl, mix 1 cup powdered sugar and enough water to make frosting that can be easily drizzled or used in a decorating bag yet hold its shape. Stir in 3 or 4 drops food color.
6. Spread almond glaze over cookies. Decorate with blue frosting.

Believe it or not, this morning’s Maron v Seder JuJu Cam VODCast is already up and untested. Seder continues the AAR infiltration of MSNBC, appearing on Countdown tonight. He is trying to get Maron to help on a show next week when he subs for Randi if AAR will cough up LA studio bucks.

I have been listening and seeing many plans and stategies and hopes and listings for years since first break up with AAR and I thought Nova M was doing better, than they are. Wow, Kent Jones! That is f*d up beyond belief. I have not heard him for a while but he was great. They should have used him a lot more. I just e-mailed Seder and asked him to have Lawton on next week. He has always been good about bringing on departing AAR colleagues.
