So, today is the big NH primary. More white people deciding who should be our preznit. Obama has already been anointed, so after he wins tonight, I predict the media will turn on him in hopes of getting a horse race story. That means they’ll have to boost Hillary, because the only thing they cover Edwards over is that he was mean to Hillary when she got all choked up over whatever it was she got all choked up over. Whatever.
Time to put on my magic underpants and face the day.
John somebody (mendall?) filling in for malloy last night was pretty good. Not batshit crazy like malloy gets sometimes but crazy enough for me to get my anger fix-
hope he’s not a former thug like Cenk- ๐ฎ he really hates the clintons idea of entitlement.

You don’t know how to ease my pain
You don’t know
You don’t know how to ease my pain
You don’t know what the sound is darlin’
It’s the sound of my tears fallin’
Or is it the rain?
You don’t know how to play the game
You cheat
You lie
You make me wanna cry
You make me wanna cry
Cry…
You make me wanna cry
You don’t know how to ease my pain
You don’t know
You don’t know how to ease my pain
Don’t you hear any voices cryin’?
That’s the sound of my love dyin’
Here comes the rain
You don’t know how to play the game
You cheat
You lie
You don’t even know how to say goodbye
You make me wanna cry
You don’t know
You don’t even know how to say goodbye
You make me wanna cry
You don’t even know how to say goodbye
You make me wanna cry
Cry

Just for the record, I don’t have a problem with her showing some emotion , but then she had to follow it IMMEDIATELY with a psuedo-9/11 talking point that was almost worthy of Ruidiani. That was just wrong.
Or maybe she had money on Ohio State. Two fucking years in a row. Jeebus.
I got yer
DicksvilleDixville Notch right here.I have been watching her, Hill, the last several days (especially since The Computer had been “acting up” :growl: ) and I am beginning to like her. ๐ฏ … :knit: :fist: A!I!V!!

Hillary A ( for AIPAC) D ( for DLC) Clintdork is bad for you :reaper: :reaper:
I’m not gonna make fun of Senator Clinton for getting choked up. It’s a perfectly natural response to stress and fatigue.
One of the points that the demodorps they interview keep bringing up is that this “change” the people are supposedly calling for requires more “reaching across the isle”.. Unless there is a total change out of the thugs in the house and the senate it will just be more of the same BS .. I don’t think that “reaching across the isle” is really what the public have in mind. :tommygun: :tommygun:
I’ll reach across the isle……. to punch their lights out! :fu:
Hey, Henry Rollins is on Bill Press! :pirate:
Henry Rollins likes Kucinich and Edwards. :yippee: All the hip and informed people pick Kucinich and Edwards :nana:
Why thank you Krista, I like to think I’m hip and informed……and stil attractive to women.
So do we have a Sue from New Mexico? A Sue from N. Mexico called into the Turks this morning and used the word “sheeple”.
:sheep:
The problem with the Republicans is that they are unwilling to reach across the aisle, while being way too eager to reach under the stall.
I’d like to think I’m at least somewhat informed, but I could probably use a ‘hip’ replacement, and I tend to only be attractive to dogs, cats, and old ladies.
My wife thinks I look like a Klingon. Sadly, more like K’mpec than Worf these days.
We’re number one, we’re number one!

Denver rules.
Right after we’re named the Drunkest City in America, Forbes.com pronounces Denver the Most Lustful City in America. Forbes came to this conclusion by tracking condom sales รขโฌโ and in Denver we purchased 189 percent more condoms than the average city this size.

I don’t know if this has already been posted, Ron Paul supporters going after Hannity.

Here ya go Krista!
$20? Damn, I guess I’m just not a very dedicated stalker, ‘cuz I don’t think I’d pay $20 for a coffee mug.
Then again, I my Car Talk coffee mug cost about $120 (but I also go the warm fuzzy feeling from donating to my local NPR station – back before NPR went all right wing on me).
๐ npr went all right wing?
$20 for the mug and I got a sweatshirt for another $20 basck in the day.
$20 for a sweatshirt doesn’t seem so bad. When I see how much things cost these days, I just cringe.
Used to be for $20 you could get a Dixville Notch.

My Computer is having “a mood” cycle and some “actions” just freezes … and Kaspersky is working. I just have to leave for a bit and like yesterday, I may not be back until many many hours later. Tea Cheers All & Fare Well The Storms.
And Fred, we will talk :rofl2:  ๐ :pirate: :yippee: A!I!V!
Yay! I just got to hear Krista on Jeff.
On Jeff’s show, that is. ๐
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – France, Japan and Australia rated best and the United States worst in new rankings focusing on preventable deaths due to treatable conditions in 19 leading industrialized nations, researchers said on Tuesday.
If the U.S. health care system performed as well as those of those top three countries, there would be 101,000 fewer deaths in the United States per year, according to researchers writing in the journal Health Affairs.

I thought we had the best healthcare system in the world. It must be true, the preznit says so, and he would never lie.
I’m glad you clarified that PJ .. Krista being paranoid about her web can on her apple and all that and you being the media guru around here. :reaper: :reaper: :tap: :tap:

Not surprising.. why does this seem to only happen to democrats.. ??
because republicans have too many guns and too little brains
Probably because all the rethugs are wealthy enough to hire some of their “staff” from Blackwater :reaper: :reaper:
Republicans are closer to God, and therefore covered by His shield of protection.
Damn, 68 degrees out there. Not bad for January.
If you have a strong stomach you may wish to watch O’Liely explain how pushing the Obama guy was needed to uphold the constitution.
http://www.talkingpointsmemo.com/horsesmouth/2008/01/bill_oreilly_i.php
I’m sure had it been Rudy he could have explained how 9/11 led inexorably to that moment.
Fred, I agree. Compromising with the robber barons seems like a fools errand to me.
First of all I must say when I post there is a 65 to 70% chance my computer will “freeze”, and I may not be back for a bit ๐ ,
however, Fred why Hill? Then there are three. Obama may have an aura of JFK perhaps,,,,…..but if the two I will vote Hill. She has had overall a preSenate appearance as to who she is. I am not thrilled with either — only Gore… I still have to get a letter off. Probably won’t make a difference, but it moved me LBH :rofl2: .
With Hill, She did not cry… Her Voice Cracked, and she teared BARELY. Then she recovered nicely. :growl: :rofl2:
I like Obama’s wife, though. :fist:
I do not trust Obama, then he has also been talking about himself and that it is time to change … but NOT ABOUT THE ISSUES or His Ideas and Plans! :omg:
So Fred, are we still friends ? ๐ LBH :rofl2:
The only good thing about have “folks” running one cares not of, is one can focus on Work … :knit2: :crap: :omg: :dancers: A!I!V! Here’s to hoping I can do something else besides Praying this Computer works :omg: :smack:
Sue P, re 32  :fustrate: Stupid America :reaper: :reaper: A!I!V! gotta go feed the fire :tommygun:
Druid, I’m with you. I would vote for Hillary rather than Obama. But I would vote for Obama rather than any rethug.
I think I concur. I’m not a big Hillary fan, but I think I’d go with her over Obama if forced to choose between the two. I think Obama will be the worst of Bill Clinton, with none of the best. He’ll roll over for the Republicans.
I worry about Obama getting assasinated. I feel like there is a good chance the attempt will be made. I dunno, the kind of people that would hate him are violent. He’s just the kind of guy to get assasinated. And that’s a good point about Hillary being more calloused to Rethug attacks. I think Obama’s inexperience is incosequential. I think he’d figure it out, especially if he had a strong VP(God knows the position holds a lot of clout anymore)I hope that if Edwards does not get the nomination that he will at least be chosen for VP. I just sent Edwards some money. Not much, for sure, but I really want him to win. I really want to feel totally great about who I’m supporting.
So, That nasty email about Obama that I got I checked snopes and, of course, just about everything in the email was false, contrary to what it claimed. So I replied to everyone that the email was full of lies and that they shouldn’t be spread blah blah blah and included the snopes link that disclaimed the email. I got a reply from one of my mom’s friends who said her cousin wrote it and that she checked it with snopes. I replied to her and told her to actually check the link I posted which said it was false. I haven’t got a reply. :dancers:

Clinton ahead in NH.
MSNBC called it for McCave
I believe the Maron/Seder show was postponed to Friday, due to the NH primary. Vernon will know; he’s up on these things.
On Sam’s website it says that Maron v Seder will be on 11 AM EST, Friday.

Thanks, Soupy.
McCain Defeats Romney in N.H. Vote
Senator John McCain won the Republican primary in New Hampshire Tuesday night, reviving a campaign that had been given up for dead just a few months ago and further muddying a Republican contest that now has no clear leader. Speaking to his supporters, Mr. McCain said, รขโฌลTonight we sure showed them what a comeback looks like.รขโฌย
Comeback my ass, he sold his soul to the devil! You KNOW he’s gonna get the nomination.
KP, you do get right to the point. Kudos!

MSNBC says Clinton is the winner.
SouPy HaHaHa (PJ :rofl2:  :rofl2: re 54) re 53 — Thank You.
Sorry, I am on a journey through the past and have neglected MSBlog duty but indeed the Maron/Seder MashUp is on Friday this week at 11 AM EST (currently my TZ)/8 AM PDT. The best link that I have found is http://www.samsedershow.tv/ which offers several options including one that lets you see the cam and the blog at the same time. It does not appear that any new VOD have been uploaded.
For a while this morning the Seder blog made it look like it would run today but it was changed by showtime and I watched the Stewart and Colbert reruns while waiting. Given they did not want to break the strike I thought that they were well done and I will be interested in seeing how they deal with day 2.
Needless to say I am somewhat amazed by the results tonight but I hope that it just means that Edwards still has a shot and Obama is not running away with the whole things as the ‘geniuses’ were saying this morning.
Back into the time machine.
