Anyone listen to Brad from bradblog.com on Malloy last night?
Does anyone here on this blog really believe that there will be a fair election in 2008?

Good morning :joe: :joe:
My hatred of Fedex has now grown immeasurably. Yesterday Fedex delivered a package of mine to the wrong address, left it on the front porch and of course did not get a signature. That’s the end of he package and that’s the end of Fedex. I will never order anything from a place that ships it Fedex.
Hi ho it’s off to work I go. Have a good one.
:joe: :joe: :joe: :joe: :joe: 😮 😮 :yuck: :crap: :fustrate: :fustrate: 😯 😯
:yuck: Its Thursday again :sheep: le
Well, luckily I couldn’t hear it in the bathroom because I had to have the door shut to paint. Why are those fucks still on the air??
Comment by Kristapea — January 9, 2008 @ 7:41 pm
You were painting in a bathroom with the door closed? That’s actually a good cheap high if the paint fumes are strong enough. Not that I would know anything about that. 😆
Last night KO reported that Richardson will be out today, presumably awaiting appointment as either Hillary’s VP or Obama’s Secretary of State. I haven’t figured out where he fits into the Edwards Cabinet yet. (Not that it would be easy to fit Richardson into a cabinet.)
It makes more and more sense why hardly anyone stood with Barbara Boxer in the senate when she questioned the 2004 vote.. They all see rigged voting machines as another way to win elections.. Power.. power… power is all the “they” care about .. You can forget about anything you want to happen as long as the “they’ have their way and can speak with big money..
Vigilance committees :sheep: le Vigilance committees.
:gate: :omg: :jason: :jason: :fist:
Tea Cheers All. Now I have to go get more tea :yippee: & Feed The Fire :omg: 😮 A!I!V! brb
I didn’t know anyone had tried anything
Sue, My hatred is reserved for UPS. I collect the Budweiser beer steins. They won’t deliver a $25 beer stein without the signature of a 21-year-old because it is from a brewing company. However, they left my $1000 telescope in the driveway for six hours where everybody driving by my house could see it.
Fred, the last two presidential elections were not certified by GAO. In 2000 they couldn’t find some ballots and machines in Florida. In 2004 Ohio had missing machines and machine parts while New Mexico had missing ballots. Both times a Republican Congress overrode the laws and certified the vote by proclamation. The GAO reports have since been classified. Mustn’t upset the masses.
Well, this should help iron out the issues of gay men/women drivers and male drivers if they are man enough to use one of these babies.
Use of Gas by Blackwater
Why does the United States need to employ a mercenary army? It seems this governmental outsourcing has gone way too far. It would be cheaper to simply draft some unsuspecting young people and let occupy a country somewhere?
Well, W got a big greeting from his Israeli pals. :yuck: :barf:

Milky Way could hold hundreds of rogue black holes: study Wed Jan 9, 3:09 PM ET
CHICAGO (AFP) – Hundreds of rogue black holes may be roaming around the Milky Way waiting to engulf stars and planets that cross their path, US astronomers said Wednesday. (continued)
I wonder if this planet hasn’t already been swallowed up by one.
Of if the giggling killer isn’t a rogue black hole.
RAGING Granny. 😉 , re 13 :barf: but I think 11 was SuperCool. 8) except I may be tooooooo :omg: but WOW … in 10ish yrs … Just In Time 8) :yippee:  …. A!I!V!
Big Party In Muir Woods
Happy birthday, Muir Woods.
Thanks for the warning, Druid. I’ll keep an eye out for roaming gangs of rogue black holes.
So, Druid, are your friends in Az the ones putting up the numerous Ron Paul signs around here? Or is it those dasterdly rogue black holes with their globular clusters?
I’m with NC Blue, UPS are fascists and everything is brown to prove it!
NC Blue ,:rofl2: Black Holes Boo & re 18, awww Muir Woods  … :rofl2: A!I!V! :growl: :fist:
Kristapea , if she didn’t just have to deal with newish baby and him working toooo much they might be .. :growl: .. but they “vill” change :growl: :pirate: :yippee: … A!I!V! especially she will “awake” soon, but he hates to admit I WAS RIGHT AGAIN :rofl2: :rofl2: :rofl2:
(he and I have an on-going “game” :rofl2: )
For you space cadets out there.
Cool pictures PJ .. That last one was probably taken as heir dictatordorp’s 747 flew across the Atlantic day before yesterday. :tap: :tap:
Regarding #23 … I was going to post Cool w/ 8) after looking at first photo but then got mesmerized. A thrill grew within, one I have never known. And as a child, a glowing smile of innocence I discovered upon my face. 😯 🙂 Incredible.
Huge coup, of kiss of death?
Who cares who Kerry endorses! :tap: I’m still pissed at him.
Regarding 27, well spoken Kristapea :yippee: :rofl2: … A!I!V!
I know that I don’t much care. It does give Obama Kerry’s rather substantial donor and e-mail lists, though, which could be a plus, moneywise. The best thing, I thought, was John Edwards’ response:
To me that shows a lot of class.
Such class should be rewarded. And I just did.
$$
I guess this means I’ve officially changed bandwagons.
The end of the fedex story:
The package was delivered today by the neighbor whose front porch it was left on. Of course, in Red Hook, a front porch refers to the steps leading up to the front door, not a real porch, some portion of which might not be directly viewable from the street. The neighbor lives 2 blocks away and his street name in no way “resembles mine.
At any rate, he was kind enough to bring it around.
So far, Fedex has not called me to tell me the result of their “investigation.” I will call the company and tell them I received it but I will not call Fedex.
NC Blue, UPS has been the best, here. We have one person who does the route and he knows everyone, knows which neighbors he can leave a package with and will hold something if we’re not home. He requires a signature Fedex does not.
Apparently, you have a really stupid UPS guy. He’s probably a Rethug. I guess he thinks a beer stein is a kind of beer.
Telephone companies have cut off FBI wiretaps used to eavesdrop on suspected criminals because of the bureau’s repeated failures to pay phone bills on time.
A Justice Department audit released Thursday blamed the lost connections on the FBI’s lax oversight of money used in undercover investigations. In one office alone, unpaid costs for wiretaps from one phone company totaled $66,000.

I, too, much prefer UPS to FedEx. But the UPS guy did leave my new 7.1 speaker system on the front porch, clearly visible in the original packaging, in a box about the size of a refrigerator (OK, maybe a short refrigerator). But then we have a signature thing that says they can do that. And it weighed about a million pounds, so I don’t blame him for not wanting to haul it back again.
I actually like the “diff” stories from you, SouP :rofl2: 😉 , and others here. … :tap: A!I!V! Regarding #32 Yep
:rofl2:
:peace: ALL BBL *poof* … *poof*A!I!V!
I prefer the post office over UPS or FedEx. I have seen how all of them treat fragile packages, so the pony express might be more reliable, even if their last delivery is running a little late…
PJ, thanks for the astronaut photos. Now, can we send Kerry to outer space, or at least outer Mongolia?
Those space pictures were pretty fun to look at.
Coll. Algebra and Intro to Gen. Chem. for me this quarter.
:knit2:
I got good at algebra when I went to engineering school. It’s the calculus that fuck me.
Another quarter of alg. and I’ll be hopefully moving on to cal. We’ll see, I guess.
:smack: :rofl2: Hopefully?? :rofl2: Do you know what your hoping for?? :smack: :hot:
I think I’m smart enough to realize my hopes will change with my circumstances in the future. Right now, I feel that cal. is beyond my understanding. Maybe by next fall I’ll have some sort of partial mastery of alg. and trig.. and work on cal. if I still have that hope. My aspirations are variable.
I need some audacity somewhere in here, don’t I?
The post office is Ok if they would just leave that little slip telling me that they have a package.
I like listening to Obama more than any of the other candidates. I don’t know why.
I think calculus would completely addle my brain.
Calculus in Latin means pebble. Is that because during a calculus course one often feels like throwing stones? Or is it more like having a pebble in one’s shoe.
If you love Halloween and the early eighties, here is a compilation for YOU! :reaper: :bong: :pirate:
My advice is get the algebra in your bones. Get to know it like your times tables. I’m an artist so I mainly live in my right brain and math was like hacking through a dense forest with a machete. An exploration expedition, indeed. Lewis and Clark. It was hard, but I did okay but it took me twice as long as everyone else. But you’ll get a better job with the math. So stick it out. :fist:
Rudy Giuliani’s presidential campaign announced on Thursday the formulation of a Catastrophe Advisory Committee, designed to provide the former New York City mayor with advice on the needs of local communities in regards to catastrophe response.
What purpose this committee will serve Giuliani’s White House ambitions remains unclear. His campaign did not return a request for comment. But the mayor, in a press release on his website, explained it as such:
“Every community in America must be prepared for natural disasters and terrorist attacks, which is why I support the creation of a National Catastrophe Insurance Fund and why I have made ensuring that every community in America is prepared for terrorist attacks and natural disasters one of my 12 Commitments to the American People…”
As curious as it is to create an ad hoc committee on catastrophe preparedness in the midst of the campaign is the individual who Giuliani appointed to head that committee. Joe M. Allbaugh, the man who once headed the Federal Emergency Management Agency, will formally hold the title of National Chair.
