If you forgot to set your clocks ahead last night, you may be in luck, and have already missed today’s talking heads. Otherwise…
On today’s Press the Meat, Timmy Potatohead has Andy’s Governor, Ed Rendell on to tell us why Clinton is gonna win it all, and Tom Daschle (remember him?) on to tell us why Obama is the man with the plan. Then it’s a roundtable with WaPost purveyor of conventional wisdom, Dan Balz, LA Times columnist Ron Brownstainstein, WSJ Republican shill, John Harwood and NPR’s Gwen Ifill.
On CBS’s Faze the Nation, Bush Buddy Bobby Schieffer packs a lot of guests into a half hour, as he hosts Howard :omg: Dean (damn shame he isn’t president now), Kevin’s Senator, Wild Bill Nelson, Republican asshole Ed Rollins, and Joe Hippy Dippy Trippi.
On Fux News Sunday, it’s Super Debbie Day, as Weaselface Wallace hosts superdelegates Debbie Dingell and Debbie Wasserman Schultz. Then there’s Republican Mike Pence to tell us how well things are going in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the usual assortment of Fux News fuxheads.
On the Goebbels network, George Snufalufagus has Howard Dean (in case you missed him earler) and Carl Levin, plus Kevin’s Senator Jesus Charlie Crist. Best of all, the axis of drivel is reunited with a roundtable of Cokie “the hag” Roberts, Sam :omg: Donaldson and George :jerk: Will.
Wolf Blitzer’s Late Emission includes Marc Morial of the National Urban League, former chess champion and Russian rabble rouser,
Garry Kasparov, Krista’s Senator, Krazy John Kyl, and Andy’s Senator, Bob Casey.
Later, on 60 Minutes, ScottPelley profiles Saint John McCain, Bob Simon tells us about two lawyers who kept the secret that their client had committed murder while an innocent man went to jail (and is still there, 26 years later), and Lesley Stahl profiles some rich asshole named Carl Icahn.
On a sad note, tonight is the final episode of The Wire on HBO. I’ll miss that show.
And, of course, the big news of the weekend is the new edition to our homefamily
Siggy isn’t quite sure what to make of him, and we haven’t seen the cats since we brought him home. But he sure is cute, and the nicest little fella you could ask for (except for Siggy, who remains the best doggie in the whole wide world).
Have a good one!
  :joe: :joe: :joe: :joe: :joe:
AAAARRRRGGGGG 😮 😮
:omg: No :sheep: le yet 😯 😯
The blog obviously doesn’t know about daylight savings time
The dogs don’t know about daylight saving time, either.
Very cute pup, PJ. Where’d you get him? How old? and, how’s the sore throat?
Does the new fella have a name yet? ADORABLE and congratulations to the PJ family!
Morning!
Vern – I figured it out – and yes 3K with no roids!
Have a great day, everyone!

Stunning many who considered the district west of Chicago reliably Republican territory, Bill Foster, a physicist and Democrat, won a special election on Saturday to fill the Congressional seat that J. Dennis Hastert, the former speaker of the House, held for two decades.

:pup: He’s sooo Cute! I wanna get another dog now! :pup:
He’s three months old. We got him through the German Shepherd Rescue of Central New York. Besides rescuing German Shepherds, they also get contacted by other groups and commit to taking a few pups here and there. This fella was rescued by a Mississippi State vet student named Krista Gazolla who brings puppies up from down there to give them good homes (I inquired about adopting Krista, but Granny wouldn’t go for it).
We’re calling him Fritzi.
And, of course, for those of you who just can’t get enough puppy pictures….

So, is Fritzi a German Shepherd or a mutt?
He’s lovely, PJ. He looks as if he’s going to be a big guy
Oh, he’s a mutt. We think he’s lab/shepherd. Mutts only, for me. Like father, like son. Yeah, I think he’s gonna be a big boy.
Apparently, the treatment of dogs down south is pretty deplorable. Very sad.
Dogs should be worshiped  :pup: Look to Sirius!
:pup: And here’s the Google video of Fritzi’s first romp in the back yard :pup:
And today, everything’s covered with snow again.
The treatment of everything, down south, is pretty deplorable.
My daughter adopted a pup whose pregnant mom was rescued from the Katrina disaster. He’s a lab mix but we think the other part is great dane. He’s a really nice and BIG dog.
Ha! Poor Siggy, watching the wild Fritzi. Siggy looks like he’s saying, “what the hell is it? is it staying here? Can’t be staying HERE…” :pup: What a great pup.
(Don’t EVEN get me started on the subject of the treatment of animals in the south.)
‘kat,
What did you find out? It seems like there isn’t any more news except for team after team saying they not interested and maybe Japan. There was the bit about his perjury case being refornmatted by order of the judge. Oh, yeah, and when the grand jury testimony gets released, the a*whole comish is not going to read it. I guess real American jurisprudence and justice is a little too much for a used car salesman.
Coincidentally, the current videotape of BB’s BFF, KO that I am watching has back to back episodes of the November interview with Jim Gray.
Just an observation
The MSBlog is doggiecentric and the Seder blog kittycentric. There are also a few bipetuals and polypetuals and a cross-pollinating :bee: petual flying about. and some :sheep: le. The Birdlady :parrot: is MIA or has flown over the cuckoo nest.
Personally, I am apetual though I suspect I may have an
:omg: -a-mouse in my basement/garage that I have to get. The Verminator. :reaper:
Kitty emos :billcat: :cat: outnumber doggie :pup: emos here 2-1.
:penguin: :bee: :sammy:
Yeah, my sister’s newest shepherd was a rescue from Georgia. Apparently the people there were breeding shepherds and couldn’t afford to take care of them, and weren’t finding homes for them. They were feeding these poor dogs apple sauce. When they got her, she was spayed by god knows whom, but it looked like a butcher job and was infected. She’s a beautiful dog, and it’s great that they got her out of there.
fritz and siggy!!!
give em both a scritch for me!
I vote for dogs. I’ve never had one but always enjoyed doing the dog-sitting on occasion.
My personal tradition on Daylight Savings Day is to sleep in so late that the time change becomes irrelevant. I made it to 3:45 EDT this year, or 2:45 EST if the time had not changed.
The best part was that I was able to miss both DINO Senator Bill “Don’t call me Clarence” Nelson AND potential changer-of-Walnuts’-diapers and current empty-chair governor Charlie Crist.
The comparison to Jesus is apt, as both were (and are) single men who spent a lot of time hanging out with a bunch of other guys. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. Although in defense of Jesus, he actually did his job rather than abandoning it to chase after an old crazy man with anger-management issues.
Congratulations on the new dog, PJ. And that Krista Gazolla isn’t bad either. I think I had the kristagazolla at a Greek restaurant once. It was very tasty. 😀
I am feeding my friends’ fish while they cruise this week. Does that count? That is my friend who works with coral and used to feed the :penguin: :penguin: :penguin: .
Hoping my backyard :bee: :bee: :bee: come back soon. I know some pussies lurk out in my backyard, further arousing my mouse suspicions.
They once trapped 22 raccoons in my next door neighbors yard.
Paving the way for Maddow on MSNBC?
TEH CUTE!!! MAKE IT STOP!! AUGH!! TOO MUCH OF TEH CUTE MAKES U TALK IN LOLZ AND SAY THINGS LIKE “A WOOGA WOOGA WOOGA WHODA COOTEST BABEH EVA!!”
FRITZI CAN HAS CHEEZBURGER? :pup:
So why is
MSNBCGE firing a Reich wing nut ?? I would think Keith is about all the reputable programming they can handle :reaper: :reaper:For some reason it felt like 6am came at 5am this morning… All the computers including the LINUX machines figured out what time it was though.. 😮 😯 can’t say that all the people who were susposed to come in at 6 did though. :reaper: :reaper:
I like dogs .. they are your friend ..and crave your attention… cats on the other hand think you are their servant. :tap: :tap:
Dog days if winter! :pup:
Cute pup! Nice vid. Watch out ’cause someone is lurkin’ against the wall.
