Can’t write much this morning, because I need to conserve my battery power. A certain puppy chewed through my laptop power supply cord (the DC side), so I have to conserve until the replacement arrives. Got a bunch of meetings at work today, too, on top of having to test stuff. Oh and do all my other jobs (sometimes it’s hard to get my quota of websurfing and blogging done). Hopefully the water’s at least working today.
Here’s to clean water and cable chewing :pup: :yippee:
:joe: :joe: :joe: :joe: 😮 😮
:omg: A :sheep: le is out there 😯 😯
Hill’ry interviewed by Richard Mellon Scaife? :omg:
I’m off to work, but this is a very short day and I’ll be back home in a few short hours.
Next time Certain Puppy chews through the cord, make him write the morning blog entry!
I’ve been thinking about Obama and Rev. Wright: Doesnt his membership in that church sort of destroy the “he’s a Muslim” rant? Or are the Righties too hateful to figure that out.
“One of the caveats that I would have is that people that are presently on Social Security or about to go on Social Security not be affected.” HRC 03/25
I wonder where the “go :fu: yourself” cut-off point is?
62? 60? 😡
The righties are too busy reading in the National Inquirer how Obama murdered the gay choir director at Trinity Lutheren to, you know, keep their affair quiet. You know, the guy who owns the corporation who owns the Nation Inquirer who’s one of Klinton’s campaign supporters.
So when did Dan Abrams jump off the Hillary bandwagon? Apparently he’s changed sides since last week. I won’t accuse him of drinking the MSNBC Kool-Aid, since maybe he’s leaning toward Obama for the same reasons I am. Just thought it was curious.
Maybe I’m just news-delayed. I finally got around to watching Al Franken on Letterman last night, and it aired a week ago. At this rate, I may get to those first three episodes of John Adams by Election Day.
(Don’t tell me whether or not he becomes president. I haven’t watched any of it yet.)
I think Abrams has been pretty objective for a long time. I enjoy the few times I’ve watched his show- the format, the talking heads. Of course he did lose control with (of) Buchanan a couple of weeks ago. His whole thing is to call balls and strikes on spin.
Sue P. :pirate: :yippee: :yippee: :yippee:  :pup: :pup: :cat: :cat: Meow (Cauldron is on my lap) {She is very, very old.. sniff
and purrrrrrring cheers.} .. …… :fist: A!I!V! :reaper: :dancers:
BTW EDIT
I did write and save a response to all Obama worshipers … and although I WAS Leaning towards him, I heard self ego petting, vainglorious “snips” from the O-Worshipers and I am not amused and I will vote no one if I continually see :crap: .. Cuz I Can.
Why am I leaning? — I talked to John in Obama’s National office yesterday, and he spent a very very long (even for me) time with me Answering — gave another place for me to call regarding tax-exemption status to check further (most likely negatively regarding his pastor), with much further Talking and Answering. But with BO :crap: flying about, I will keep my own counsel., especially since I have to, hopefully today — if time– call Hill’s Camp. Hmmmmmmmm
I try not to post here and only there to continue this fight but someone(s) did not play fair. Typical. Who knew?
{I think I just had to run away for a “sec” from my
siPAGE. Things are really looking bad, for The Earth. NOW THAT IS REALLY IMPORTANT and deserves HERALDING!} Sea-Ya *poof*Very short day is done and I am back home contemplating some “me” time.
As for Obama and Clinton: I voted for Clinton but I have not been pleased with her bashing of Obama. I would be perfectly happy if the bashing were on the issues but some of the things that have been said will make it harder to elect a Democrat in November.
I also really liked Obama’s speech. However, not having much faith in much of the electorate, I am not reassured that such an intellectual approach can work. But, age has made me a cynic.
What has really bothered me is the demonizing of the supporters of each candidate by the supporters of the other. I have heard a great deal of BS on both sides. ( Clinton’s supporters are mean, Obama supporters are worshippers) I’ve read some pretty clever name calling. Unfortunately it has hurt feelings and caused fractures on the left. Yet, while we give our support to different candidates, our ultimate goals are the same.
I’m too old to believe that any of the candidates will fulfill their promises. But they will fulfill some of them and that is true for McCain, as well. Unfortunately the promises that McCain may keep may be those that cause more death and more suffering.
I do not think that this country will be able to recover if there is a McCain presidency.
Now, I could enthusiastically support a Sam Seder, Marc Maron ticket. Sam would give a great state of the union and Marc would be a whole lot more fun to listen to than Chaney or Rumsfeld.
It is doubtful the country can recover if there is a George W. Busch presidency. Cowboy George would probably do something really psychotic like try to take over the world without a Brain to back him up.
In the Orwellian world where government is run like a corporation the thugs who have predominantly been in power have used all the moneys put aside for SS to keep your taxes low .. just like they deferred maintenance on bridges , and highways, cut back or completely eliminated product and and food inspection.. but spend trillions on things which have no public value like a missile defense system for non existent missiles .,twelve nuclear aircraft carriers . and stealth bombers .. all of which are little defense against a twenty year old chevy full of TNT or a 40 foot trailer full of fertilizer..
The GAO says we only owe ourselves about 50….. err. 51 ….. err 52… err… 53 trillion dollars .. ..
I still ask does this constitute government ??? :gate: :omg: :jason: :jason: :fist:
I you put aside that half a trillion dollars a year that we spend “keeping ourselves safe” It might make Universal health care possible, and Medicare and SS solvent for quite some time..
The Reich wing media will just convince the :sheep: le all this BS is true.. but .. SS has been going broke for 40 years now ..and the checks still come each month .. :omg:
Making the public aware of the problem so they can go forth vote for a preselected elitist hypocrite .. who has a sort of maybe vague solution for the problem which might even maybe involve WalStreet ( ONK ONK Squeal Squeal) is NOT going to solve this problem..
I keep seeing why Stalin had to do what he did .. :gate: :omg: :jason: :jason: :fist:
The system Heartman’s favorite folks from 1776 created was apparently designed to be totally ineffective as long there is a division of power in any of the three branches ..
The addition of “parties” which is not in the constitution just makes the “system” totally ineffective .. a plan which the elitists obviously created to keep it that way .. :reaper: :reaper:
Fred, PJ, NC Blue, & Sue P, I have been on the phone with National IRS
(including hung up on twice — since they could not answer the Tax E Question but a wonderful older (probably my age or a bit older :rofl2:  ) man knew how to talk to me (and he was mad that others hung up (cuz that office is as far as I can go) then had a wonderful talk and gave address to The Examination Room 😮 :omg: ) :dancers:
Well besides writing The ER … Hmmmmmm but can I say vote ONLY DEM?
But the TAX EXEMPT LAW is even more esoteric than before, within the “dark area”, so to speak. It all comes down to “same old, same old”.
Either be bound and gaged and take the t.e.s. (THX Sue P. — it is 501c3 — but thx guys for starting the info and the beginnings of number.) or Just Say It Loud & Say It Proud and DO NOT TAKE THE T.E.S.. 🙄 … :fist: A!I!V!
Fred, but doesn’t all come down to just, “We, The People need to generate more money”? (…and other things but for now …)
SS would do really well if they just raised the cap and found some way to levy SS taxes on all those people who live in these 8000 sq ft houses with no visible means of support
There are a lot of these third and forth generation elitists who make millions a year from their great great great grand daddy’s investments who have never worked a day in their life .. :reaper: :reaper:
I wish I was one of them.
I hate to tell Heartman but having a license plate number or the GPS coordinates of the bridge you live under for an address doesn’t allow you to vote. :tommygun: :tommygun:
I always wanted a house-boat — but then the lake got to “busy”.A!I!V!
Richard Widmark died http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080326/ap_on_re_us/obit_widmark_1&printer=1…
🙂 🙁 “dramatis personae” /|\ :peace: :gate:
Far be it for me to be an Obama worshiper, but I love this song, and this is nicely done.
I will not fight :slap: , but first I got hypnotized then I realized I didn’t see one “old” person. Some my age yes and grandchildren age and NOT ONE OLD Obvious, especially, PERSON NOR ANIMAL.
And I thought I was now more on Obama’s side. Truly, now I am again perplexed.A!I!V!
Obama did Finally “show” the Truth about Katrina. I just do not know why HE didn’t put a bill or said or did SOMETHING before a Political VIDEO? *** I have to be downstairs for hours & I will fly by later 😉 *poof*
Just an FYI, Obama didn’t have anything to do with that video. Bob Cesca did.
