Anyone here ever see Gangs of New York? What he was saying about how the government will eventually be exchanging the basic neccessities of food and shelter for fighting in these wars reminds me a lot of what they did to the immegrants during the civil war. Gangs of New York illustrates that beautifully at one point…where the Irish immagrents are coming off the boat, right into the recruiter’s hands, and right back onto a boat to fight a war they know nothing about. All they want is a meal and a place to stay for themselves and their families. Meanwhile, coffins are being unloaded, swinging right over the new recruits’ heads…
Sure, it’s not exactly the same thing, but it’s the picture his words bring to mind…

So Maron’s cats seem to have wet dreams too ?? ๐ฎ ๐ฎ ๐ฏ ๐ฏ
Old joke I heard Roger Miller tell once mid 60s.
I just finished some shows in Tex. They call it that now because the rest is in Washington.
If I remember correctly my mother left the show after that.
Moxie’s a biiiiiiiiig kitty! Probably around our Ajax’s size…
Ah, watching Yongary, Monster from the Deep (a South Korean Godzilla knockoff). Yongary (the monster), is a perfect analogy for the US, as it just destroyed the country and drank massive amounts of oil, which is now making it sick.

Danica McKeller was on Tavis Smiley a few months ago plugging a book she wrote about math for girls (sheรขโฌโขs an accomplushed mathematician – brains AND beauty!). She was poured into a slinky evening dress and looked achingly hot.
I got that book for my niece. Not something to read straight through but entertaining.
