The interesting thing about our media is that they have no clue whatsoever just how godawful they are. It’s really quite astounding. If you got the sense they at least understood what they were and were ashamed of themselves, it wouldn’t be quite so maddening. But, instead, the Sunday whore shows just keep on going.
On Press the Meat, Timmy Potatohead will ask inane ‘gotcha’ questions of Obama’s Chief Strategist David Axelrod and Hillary Clinton’s new chief strategist Geoff Garin. Then, it’s a roundtable with NY Times whore David Brooks (who thought ABC did a great fucking job on Wednesday) E.J. “Poupon” Dionne of the WaPost, and NPR’s Michele Norris.
The battle of the surrogates continues on CBS (god forbid these people ever get a unique idea) with Bob Casey (Obama) and Ed Rendell (Clinton) getting together with Bush Buddy Bobby Schieffer on Faze the Nation. Then it’s media whore Roger Simon of the ever-wrong Politico, and Joe “hippy dippy” Trippi.
Far be it for Fux News Sunday to be original, as they have Dick Durbin (Obama) and Chuck Schumer (Clinton), along with the Pillsbury Dough Nazi, Karl Rove. Speaking of Nazis, the Fuxheads will also be on hand to talk about the Pope’s visit to NYC (I think they ought to get him tickets to see “The Producers”).
Over at that bastion of integrity known as ABC (but to us, it’ll always be the Goebbels Network), George Snufalufagus will suck off St. McCain (interview posted below), before This Weak reunites the Axis of Drivel, Cokie “the hag” Roberts, Sam :omg: Donaldson, and George :jerk: Will. And don’t forget, for those of you lucky enough to get your locals in HD, you get to see Cokie in Hi-Def this week!
On CNNs Late Emission, Wolfie is live in NYC to give us “the latest” on the Pope, plus there’s Clinton surrogates Jon Corzine and Mike “fluffer” Nutter along with Obama surrogates Bill Bradley and Chaka Fattah (seriously). The there’s the woman HP gave the boot to (poor baby only got $21 million in severance), Carly Fiorina,(now McCain’s Economic Adviser), and trying to see how many popes they can find in the pizza (you would think that would be on YouTube, but I can’t find it), Catholic University President David O’Connell, and “Vatican Journalist” Delia Gallagher.
Later, on 60 Minutes, it’s three stories I don’t really give a shit about, but after that, there’s the seventh and final episode of John Adams, the Tudors, and another episode of Tracy Ullman’s State of the Union.
Have a good Sunday, y’all.

I wonder what the economy would be like if the US would have had simultaneously developed an ethanol/methanol infrastructure for distribution while doing the same for gas.
Both dogs teamed up to wake me, so I’m up.
The Pope is going to Ground Zero and then to hold a mass in Yankee Stadium. I, fortunately, am on Shelter island, far from the traffic and closed streets.
Yesterday, the news was the Ghouliani had received communion at a mass in which the Pope, pontificated. But, as ol’ Rudy’s been married 3 times, 2 outside the church, he’s not allowed to do so.
He was asked if he was sorry for breaking church rules and said, “No.” I don’t know if Judi, Judi did the same.
But, this man who so easily breaks the rules he doesn’t like was the same SOB who fined Nyer’s for all kinds of minor infractions. I guess we have to thank the Rethug rank and file for awarding him only one delegate (who, I’m sure, is locked in Rudy’s closet.)
Some twerp on TV just said that the Pope is going to pray for the terra-ists. She agreed that we should all pray that they realize we are not evil people and we just want to live in peace. (I guess she hasn’t been listening to Bush.)
Idiots really annoy me!

Dear Washington Post,
There is a misconception that mankind needs to change its behavoir to save the planet. This is far from the truth. A thousand years from now planet Earth will still be here. Will we?
The problem is phraseology, terminology for the more technical minded. Americans are infamous for using the wrong words. Some prankish pundit in the fog of history labeled it “political correctness” when in fact it is a designed mis-choice of words meant to confuse voters. It works too well.
“Environmentalists” – another misused term – are not out to save a planet as they claim. There own misuse of words has confused and watered down their message, their real intent. The planet doesn’t need saving. Earth will toddle along merrily with or without its current collection of inhabitants. The “green movement” is out to save mankind. It would be more helpful, informative and alarming if green-mind people, including Al Gore, said what they mean.
Maybe if we used the correct words people would pay better attention to the problems and their solutions instead of arguing over the cost. Dead is dead at any price. So, let’s stop beating a dead bush and use the correct term.
Try running this phrase up the flag pole and see pays attention: Save the humans!
Travis, about your #5. We would all be eating petroleum because the farm land would be used to produce fuel.
If you want to eat fossil fuels try grilling something with the mainstream charcoal and starter fluid. The charcoal is combined with coal dust to make it black. The starter fluid is akin to kerosene. Neither make for good eats. I recommend real charcoal and newspaper strater.
I think the point Travis had was if we had embraced ethanol in 1908 in addition to petrol, 100 years later the necessary adjustments and evolution might have occurred so that oil would not cost nearly as much as it does now and available resources would not be so depleted. That being the case, the value of agricultural products for fuel purposes would also be less so food production would not be put in a secondary role. Agricultural markets would have thrived because production would be fulfilling dual purposes.
Ethanol could still be part of the solution but it should involve innovation to involve other non-food sources like hemp as well as gubment :omg: intervention in planning and management of agricultural to insure a sound food policy. Once again, the so-called free market will not serve the nation.
Why flowers have lost their scent
Pollution is stifling the fragrance of plants and preventing bees from pollinating them – endangering one of the most essential cycles of nature, writes Environment Editor Geoffrey Lean
Sunday, 20 April 2008
Pollution is dulling the scent of flowers and impeding some of the most basic processes of nature, disrupting insect life and imperilling food supplies, a new study suggests.
The potentially hugely significant research – funded by the blue-chip US National Science Foundation – has found that gases mainly formed from the emissions of car exhausts prevent flowers from attracting bees and other insects in order to pollinate them. And the scientists who have conducted the study fear that insects’ ability to repel enemies and attract mates may also be impeded.
The researchers – at the University of Virginia – say that pollution is dramatically cutting the distance travelled by the scent of flowers. Professor Jose Fuentes, who led the study, said: “Scent molecules produced by flowers in a less polluted environment could travel for roughly 1,000 to 1,200 metres. But today they may travel only 200 to 300 metres. This makes it increasingly difficult for bees and other insects to locate the flowers.”

I want so bad to see the debate between MC Cain and MC Bama. Barack will slam him on hand gestures alone.
I highly recommend these for starting charcoal. And get the natural hardwood lump charcoal, not the briquettes.
As for petroleum, we’re already eating it, since we basically turn petroleum into food in this country.
Ethanol would be a disaster to use — corn is needed for Animals and People — they are starving world & NATIONWIDE, AGAIN due to human selfish consuming, mostly for their enjoyment………
USE HEMP (not for smoking 🙄 ) … Do Not vote Obama … he wants us back to using MORE NUCLEAR.
(I/we can manipulate Hill easier).
I think, in my own opinion, Travis was alluding …. that IF:
IF … was done …… and WHY???not?????
Travis, it is what I and a FEW WITH SO MUCH MORE POWER THAN ME …… have been locally and nationally speaking about for several decades, so in the 80’s I (WITH OTHERS MORE POWERFUL THAN LIL OL’ ME (I am 5’3 &3/4 and small boned) — went VERY LOUD until I was SILENCED with much hurt involved — since some of them (meaning the man i.e.cops) liked hurting the leader — except MOST people HEARD And Travis THEY DID NOTHING EXCEPT more nuclear :crap: …
Hopefully, just as I heard the BS before and fully awaken by 13, I know some have heard and will ACT and do ACTIONS to save this whole planetary System.
Travis you are in the perfect place ….. Go Be Brilliant, Travis — and I KNOW you can be, dude. :rofl2:  … 😉
ARREST ❗ IMPEACH ❗
I do not know what happened to My City (San Francisco) and the Oakland/Berkeley areas … EXCEPT for the Tibetan GGB climbers… 8)
If I am being too bitchy again (whatever 🙄 :rofl2: )… well, I must go back to work and go brew tea and write further “stuff”.
NC Blue grand letter. Write More please. And Now We Have E-Mail to the media “joints”…teehee
Merry to some on this day of 4:20 on a Sunday 8)
On CNNs Late Emission, Wolfie is live in NYC to give us “the latest†on the Pope, plus there’s Clinton surrogates Jon Corzine and Mike “fluffer†Nutter along with Obama surrogates Bill Bradley and Chaka Fattah (seriously).
Chaka Fattah, let me rock you
Let me rock you, Chaka Fattah
Chaka Fattah, that’s all I wanna do
Chaka Fattah, let me rock you
Let me rock you, Chaka Fattah
Let me rock you cause I feel for you
Somebody had to do it. You’re welcome.
:rofl2:
NC Blue, you should have been a part of Dave Foreman’s group … …nationwide …of Merry Men :pirate: & Merry Women :pirate: …
BUT NOW THERE IS “The Net” but the word can get so disbursed,
but it is STILL THE “tool” of today if worked right …
(…and I am learning moreso, 🙄 )
Wow, from ethanol to don’t vote for Obama because he wants more nuclear power (which is a bit of a distortion but never mind). Gotta love it.
NC Blue:
Careful about the following (since there are many levels):
“Environmentalists†– another misused term – are not out to save a planet as they claim. There own misuse of words has confused and watered down their message, their real intent. The planet doesn’t need saving. Earth will toddle along merrily with or without its current collection of inhabitants. The “green movement†is out to save mankind. It would be more helpful, informative and alarming if green-mind people, including Al Gore, said what they mean.
This is a multi-level’d process:
I look that MANY can only do to the degree they can focus upon (AND THERE ARE SO MANY ISSUES) and “to give” to “the cause”.. THE SAD PART: MANY get “put away” or they can only “do the actions” for several years. The San Francisco part of EF, I no longer hear about. Hmmm Why?
I WORK FOR AND A PART OF “this whole system” — besides called Oh So Many Nasty-meaning Names and the MANY DEATH Threats — since I was “out there”, so please I have and will call me an environmentalist — cuz I am. Drops of MY BLOOD, even from chains around me, has been upon this land — of which I give true oath to — and lets not forget about hand cuffs — “some” knew I had worked for certain northern SO’s & PD’s … and either I was treated wonderfully by some officers or treated horribly by others — including hands cuff’d behind me where they would wrench my arms horribly — and I was arrested many times.
At Least GORE IS DOING something… Gore is better than Sen. Clinton or Sen. Obama…combined
Please excuse me that it takes so long to respond …I am also working … and … and … and I also have to do the garbage and laundry and wash floors and  … make tea … that’s the ticket. A!I! :pirate: Tea Cheers
BTW They asked me AGAIN and I was thinking, finally, to join The Green Party and AGAIN 🙄 get active with them since DEMS disappoint what is needed for this Earth (know that it is the Gaia plus belief) or start a Seditionist (I’ve researched  ) Party, but there is no time to “splinter” apart further… I believe.
PJ, pjsauter, PJ I just saw again about Obama last night. Most have drank the Kool-Aid thus I am under no delusion … Yet, I do not want more nuclear plants. :omg: That is taking us backward not forward.
Now I must go downstairs or I will be flogged by many, including me….. sounds a bit Catholic or Medieval, to me, 🙄 but BACK TO WORK you wench :spank:
Sea-Ya, I am again talking to myself, but I will check back for further  😉 A!I! *poof*
Now she’s really done it.

I’m bitter about Hillary constantly mentioning “San Francisco” to curry favor with the religious right
by John Aravosis (DC)
If I had only known earlier I could have tapped the SF Mayor Gavin Newsom, a big Hill’ry supporter (bet he is regretting that one) on the shoulder Friday morning and asked him to tell her to knock it off. Also former SF mayor and huge Hill’ry backer Senator DINO Feinstein should tell her to cut this crap as well.
The Clintons have probably milked more money out of this town than anyone ever. Hell, James Carnyville even became a partner in a ritzy restaurant here during the Clinton years. These people are screwed up. They are shameless and desperate.
Why grow corn at all? Wheat and other grains produce more per acre. Even the Chinese have begun a move toward less water-intensive crops. And corn is a heavy feeder and drinker.
Ethanol is a water-intensive product. Distilled four times with a water coolant each time. The really bad part is it uses almost as much energy to produce as it yields. Ethanol is a Reaganomics solution – smoke, mirrors and cardboard facades.
Yes I know we eat petroleum. Its called high nitrogen fertilizers.
But what about our high fructose corn syrup?
btw, if you see 2 liter bottles of Coke with yellow caps, they are Kosher for Pesach and are made with real sugar. Classic!
I wasn’t endorsing the idea that ethanol is great in any respects. But if we would have had a real, non-cartel market, and meaningful competing entities for liquid fuel starting over a hundred years ago, I think we would have had a much less turbulent time in the interim on the path to truly sustainable, renewable energy. Sure, ethanol is a huge step in the wrong direction if that were the only source of liquid power. Water is going to be a huge dilemma hitting everyone over the head in very short order and having industrial agriculture working on hyper-overdrive is very frightening.
Maybe not very frightening, but enough of a concern to keep somewhere in the back of my head to scramble and distort for future regurgitation.
That was my point, that a century at at the outset, things would have adjusted through time. Wonder why petrol took over anyway? Hmmm?
You won’t hear anyone talk about the dreaded government trying to manage agricultural policy but water is still another issue in that mix. Too much water gets diverted and used raising certain crops in places where they have no business growing.
The run-off of fertilizers and pesticides are other gigantic issues, too
:barf:

wow, now i have to read the posts and links … :smack: I better make more tea…
Sen Obama run adds 3-1 tv ads against Sen. Clinton … you voted your destiny.
Why is that administration still in office? It is proven The Judges failed. If you say Obama has won “the popular Vote” then PUT IN GORE NOW! HE IS AT LEAST TRUER TO HIS WORD, than lying Obama….a!i!
Re: 28 … Hmmmmm the Water issue: Yes, this has been spoken about for decades, but the letter writings and protests and even some media coverage from different eco-groups would “rise and fall”, yet the public did not want “to see” nor “to hear” thus did nothing, even when we went more active beyond the ideal of Greenpeace and other similar groups.
The only good is RFKJr. and FINALLY through MANY actions up here it is being thought about getting rid of the damns except the stupid battles :slap: continue. 🙄 — and the Massive Salmon deaths due to “games” the Water Agency “play’d”, helped at least bring the Water issue to the Masses’ awareness. :jerk: s… :pirate:
Central and South should work within their needs …. change crops … but that could put more focus on Florida and I worry for the Manatee, the Panther, the Alligator and Crocodiles and other (so very few) indigenous plant, bird, & animal! :fist: ARREST! IMPEACH!
SUNSHINE JIM, THIS IS WHY I CAME BACK …SEE # 13 re
:bee: s., pollen, * flowers. IMPORTANT READ ❗
Well, talking to myself again. At least I talked to a “rad” friend “down under”. Back to work until & after Desperate Housewives. :smack: . Sea-Ya *poof*
:reaper: :reaper: :reaper:
What ever :sheep: le
Yeah Ethanol from corn is a bad idea .. not only does corn use a lot of water but it as well as wheat are food sources .. Switch grass and hemp may be better alternatives .. solar power sounds better and better through . :tap: :tap:
Breeder plasma fusion reactors are the only sustainable nuclear power source … The lesser SBR built one at LASL in the 1980s but its now at CERN….The scientists there expect it to be self sustaining by summer … Its self regulating so a 3 Mile Island isn’t likely ..doesn’t need a lot of cooling water …and .. it produces a lot of free hydrogen gas but .. ( there is always one of those) it produces PU as a fuel ..( insery emo of mushroom cloud here) :reaper: :reaper:
Brazil who has been an leader in producing Ethanol from sugar cane for over 20 years or more apparently is cutting down their rain forest to grow more sugar cane and corn .. The over looked problem is that trees and algae produce O2 from C02 … and the brazilian rain forest are ( were)m one of the largest produces of O2 . :reaper: :reaper:
If the human race survives they need to dig up the remains of Ronald RayGun and launch then into the sun. ( preferably all his followers too) :reaper: :reaper:
ANO3 is a non petroleum based fertilizer and has other uses too ( cockroach and IDIOT MORON removal being two of them ) . :tap: :tap:
Rehtugs and DLC democraps are 👿 call Orkin :tommygun: :tommygun:
I guess to make any headway on this blog I have to link to Edwards’ site.
Gotta love it, right?
Travis & Fred, Fred, sorry I was watching Desperate Housewives … and mentally running away… then checking fire … and … but I like reading your posts … they make a “cold heart” warm 😉 …A!I!ASAP.
TRAVIS, re 42 WTF I guess I didn’t look at his platform close enough. :smack: .
Don’t people get it? Ethanol was a PLOY…for the masses. :fustrate:
…I here another homeless person pushing a cart … I want a Shelter you do not have to be Christian, but I can’t use my mouth or my 503c6 (if number wrong, I have number in files) status from a pulpit like Rev Wright or other evangelical ministers — I will be making this An Issue at thee I.R.S., again. …A.I.
BTW my computer is “freezing” so :fustrate:
But let’s go with Law Breakers and Liars, like Obama, who is worse than Hill, but whatever … while dancing I will scream out AGAIN, “I told you so”… but for what good? My Earth is being destroyed and I am even watching AAR & Nova M and their blogs proselytize Obama. Just remember Karma. … ARREST! & IMPEACH!
