Howard Dean visits with Timmy Potatohead on today’s Press the Meat, followed by a roundtable of Dean David Broder, John “the dick” Dickerson, PBS’s Gwen Ifill, Mrs. Alan Greenspan, Andrea Mitchell & frequent Countdown guest, Richard Wolffe.
Over at CBS, Bob Schieffer has David Axelrod of the Obama Campaign and Howard Wolfson of the Clinton Campaign, plus former CBS News dude (back when they had news), Roger Mudd.
On the Goebbels network, tiny little George Snufalufagus has Evan Bayh, Tom Daschle, Artur Davis, and Sheila Jackson Lee. Then there’s a roundtable of snarky ‘heather’ Maureen Dowd, political mastermind Donna Brazile, Matthew Dowd (no relation,) and George :jerk: Will.
Weaselface Wallace hosts the embodiment of all that is evil, flag pin-less Barack Obama, plus the usual Fuxheads.
CNN’s Late Emission has DINO Dianne Feinstein, Pete “hokie” Hoekstra, Claire McCaskill, representing the evil Obama, Chuck Schumer, representing Clinton, Susan Rice, Obama Foreign Policy Adviser and Jamie Rubin, Clinton Foreign Policy Adviser. Plus Steve Coll of the New America Foundation and Peter Bergen, CNN’s scaremonger.
Later, on 60 Minutes, Antonin “Fat Tony” Scalia tells us to “get over” Bush v. Gore, and Bob Simon reports on the Israeli Air Force (who will presumably help President Clinton obliterate – or is it annihilate – Iran).
No more John Adams, but there’s a new episode of The Tudors tonight, and what I think is the season finale (way too soon) of Tracey Ullman’s State of the Union.
Have a good Sunday. And Happy Birthday to my mom, who would have been 84 today (she’d be pissed I said how old she was).

Have a fine day, Bloggies!

This is the end of spring vacation; Monday it’s back to work.
Clifford seems to feel a bit better, but still no hairball poop.
I was about to worry that everyone had gone fishin’ until the daily “cat gut, your dung report” shows up from correspondent PooP.
But seriously, today there is a live SammyCam for Seder on Sunday. There are only three left at this point since Seder’s contract is about to expire. While I suspect something must be afoot :tap: concerning Sam’s AAR future, as we all know with those aarsclowns, you just never know.
Well, seditionradio.com is now set up with contact information. Hopefully that will save Maron having to deal with the people telling him that it’s not working or it’s stuck on one track or whatever.

Aarsclowns. Nice!

Hi Ho Bloggerinos! I’ve got $3.69/gal gas here, and that was yesterday. It’s been going up about 2 cents a day. I have what hopefully will be a quick computer job this afternoon and then the rest of the day off with which I hope to finally clean up my office.
Geez that was really boring.
But is RG ready to take that 3 AM call for a Seditionist Radio crisis or will she be all hopped up on dandelion wine?

Hi Druid,
Assuming that the problem is a hairball, it is apparently farther down in his gut and so no hacking it up. He seems a bit better today, but whatever happens he goes to the vet tomorrow and perhaps we’ll know more.
Vernon, I can live with Soupy, but Poopy? And, besides, it’s Clifford’s poop. He should bear the nickname.

When I was small, “me” Grandmother (and boyfriends when a bit larger :hubba: ) would rub my tummy if I had a tummy ache — ol’ ex-strays LUV their tummies rubbed but new ex-stray, Sir Cosmic, enjoys half the time, the other 1/2 he likes chasing my fingers :rofl2: 😉

Coming soon to a neighborhood near you.
I know what you mean, Andy. The ‘cheap’ gas station here is up to $3.669 a gallon. The one closest to me is up to $3.759. Over $50 to fill up my 14 gallon gas tank if it gets to E.
Could be worse, though. It’s over $10 for a US sized gallon in Scotland at the moment (if you can even get it).
No, she doesn’t have a magic pantsuit (let alone a flag lapel pin), and the only reason either one of us would be up at 3 AM would be to take a leak (or because the puppy has to get up and take a leak).
Of all the assaults suffered by the American people at the hands of the elitist Republican Party the most insulting is the destruction of our parks system. From James Watt’s aborted attempts to sell parks, through the Republican policy turning control of our parks over to selected corporations to the obscene budget cuts imposed since Reagan’s first days in office the right-wing politicos have systematically wrought havoc on our parks. The latest assault is centered in the District of Columbia with the National Arboretum the intended victim.
How can the American people trust a political organization who continually attacks the most precious symbols of our nation?
Hopefully my smartcar shows up in the next week or so, my 20 mile commute is starting to get expensive.
It’s been awhile since we’ve had puppy pics :pup: :pup: :pup:
I almost forgot about it.
Thanks PJ
