Ah, the start of another week. We’re going to cool off here, which is fine by me. I hate the hot weather. Summer makes me long for fall. So does this movie, which I can’t wait to see.

Thank god it’s Monday! Made it through another grueling weekend. Museums, gardens, grillings, good food, good drink. It was getting to be too much for one guy to handle.
It’s back to work today, but more importantly, Clifford goes to the vet, this morning, where he faces x-rays and probably some barium. Hopefully, we will get some answers and there will be a path to making him healthy. I have spent a week worrying about him and at this point my stomach has a tight and painful knot that I cannot unwind.
Have a good day, all.
Good luck to both you and Clifford, Sue. You’re in our thoughts and prayers.

perhaps a deliberately stupid media knows its talking to a buch of IDIOT MORONS :tap: :tap:
Thank you PJ, Druid Andy, SBlue and Sunshine Jim for your good wishes, they seemed to have done the trick.
Clifford’s barium x-ray showed no blockage and when he came home he went straight for the food, ate a bit and then came back for seconds.
It’s possible that whatever was obstructing his little gut passed through last night. It’ a mystery, but he does seem to be OK.
As a precaution,he’s taking Pepcid AC to settle his stomach.
:billcat:
My stomach is feeling better, too.
That’s really good news. And there’s too little of that these days. Now you tell the little bugger to be more careful.
Nothing like a little barium to make a cat appreciate the simple things.
I’ve had the barium at both ends. Not sure which was worse.
More engineering
They knocked him out and put a tube down his throat because no cat could possibly be induced to drink that stuff. But, it sure did make him appreciate the “simple things’, like eaing. Maybe I chould keep a jug of it in his view to remind him what can happen if he pulls this again.
22 my mouth yearns. I am SOOOOOOOOOO hungry … i haven’t eaten today so More Tea and a bean buritto or tuna simple sandwich or something ….. A!I!
A good way to make your cat hate you.
