But, it’s Balloon Fest weekend.
  ALPHA
:yippee: :yippee: GOOD NIGHT :yippee: :yippee:
:pirate: :billcat: :pup: :cat: 😉 *poof*
Malloy had Vincent Bugliosi on. Best-selling author of “Helter Skelter”, three times #1 on the NYT. New book “The Prosecution of George Bush for Murder”- complete MSM blackout. First time he’s ever not been able to appear on TV. Talked about how the WH edits (dissappears) incriminating statements from the bush-bastard.
:fu: the 👿 msm :reaper: :jason:
I know we know but still………., 😡 :fustrate: :rant1:
I heard Bugliosi on Hartmann. I think Hartmann did a good job of showing Bugliosi how smart he is.
Bugliosi was on Stephanie Miller’s show last week. Not sure whether or not that would be considered MSM, probably not. I guess I should pick up the book over the weekend, but who knows when I’ll have time to actually read it. I’m working on David Sirota’s book right now.
Hell, I bought Shock Doctrine four or five months ago and haven’t had a chance to get to it yet. Sorry, Naomi.
Maybe Chimpy will plunge the economy even further into the toilet and my job will go away. At least then I’ll have plenty of time to read while I starve to death.
:blech:
How smart Bugliosi is or Hartmann?
I heard some of that Hartmann i’view. Did Thom talk to him about the one of his 495 books that was about the JFK assassination which BUGliosi most likely contradicted with his previous book?
Oh, Hartmann, of course, Art. Thom pretty much always makes an effort to display to his guests how smart he is (as well as that he used to live in Germany, and has a somewhat tenuous grasp of an endless amount of relatively trivial facts).
I don’t think Thom brought up his JFK work on that one, though he might have. I recall him mentioning being an ‘amateur’ JFK assassination detective.
Book. That’s one of them olde tyme analog things, right?
I wasn’t aware of Hartmann’s genius. I just catch the end of his show when I’m shaving. 🙄
vern- from yesterday. Les just had his picking (right) arm reset to conform with the guitar but I guess he can still hoist the salute.
art, I don’t know haw many times I have asked for a tongue in cheek emoticon for when my feeble attempts at humour elude or fall flat only to never get one.
Timmy Russert has just died. I’ll try and find a link
Tim Russert, 58, has died of a heat attack.

A father and husband before anything else….., :gate:
Wow.
We need Grief Correspondent Mort Mortensen.
For all the high praise coming from his collegues @ nbc and msnbc about hard hitting journalism I can only hope that they will commit some hard-hitting journalism in his memory if only for the first time……………,
sorry for the premature lack of reverence. 😐
It’s gonna be non-stop, 24/7 potatofest from now until he’s planted (probably lie in state for a few days at the Newseum before transport back to Buffalo and a funeral on the 50 yard line at Rich Stadium).
Poor Big Russ. Tough to lose a kid.
I NEED The Cardinal …Tim Russert … To have disliked him so much for SOOOOOOO many years by his actions and words — yet at this time I wish him wisdom & wellness on his path … mostly prayed for by seeing most of your wishes. :om: /|\ :yinyang: :priest: :gate:
They’ll be pouring out a little Genny Cream in Buffalo tonight for Kartoffelkopf.

Just Perfect
Not to mention throwing down a lot of wings and beef on wick (aka, weck), and heading over to Mighty Taco. Though I think they’ll probably go with the Molson or Labatts (Canada’s closer than Rochester). I seem to recall them being pretty partial to Stroh’s, too.
Haven’t had a Genny Screamer in a long time (nasty things).
It would be nice to find this as a high quality recording.

More of McInsane’s reaction to the court rulng on habeas:
We are now going to have the courts flooded with so-called, quote, Habeas Corpus suits against the government, whether it be about the diet, whether it be about the reading material.
http://www.time-blog.com/swampland/2008/06/mccain_slams_the_supreme_court.html
So we can add habeas corpus to the list of things about which he knows nothing.
From the UFW
Gee, Timmeh, we sure loved to poke you but now I will miss you. Sundays will never be the same.
🙁 :gate:
