It’s Saturday! Yay! Two “days off” that will go by in a blur, where I’ll either do absolutely nothing and feel guilty about it, or I’ll accomplish about a tenth of what I intend to, and feel terrific because I managed to both cut the grass and do my laundry. Well, OK, “feel terrific” is stretching it a bit. I guess terrific is beyond what I’m capable of feeling these days. At best, maybe I won’t feel like a worthless piece of shit. That’s about as good as it gets – and even that doesn’t seem to last very long. Oh well. Beats going to work

Yay! More Maron! I savor each show. I’m still laughing over the last dream diary with Butch. I enjoy the shows so much while I’m listening, then feel so empty afterwards when I realize there’s no regular gig on the horizon.
Now Sam’s in the same boat. Anyone notice how often Sam’s political analysis is correct while other radio voices are not? Why do the smart voices get pushed off the air to make room for the tedious? (I’m talking about you, Lionel…) :pup:

Good news is Maron will be in NYC so he will be around some of what is left of his old support staff and Lauren K. so maybe he can work up some bits and have better access to the good tech. I think he is more comfortable there than in a rental studio in LA with a writer/bartender.
Hopefully a cam as well if that isn’t just in Lionel’s lair.
I wonder if this was the choice of Thom Hartmann, Thom Hartmann or AAR? At least Marc gets to do his thing in front of the new SVP of programming.

Afternoon all, will any body be recording Maron on Monday and Wednesday? I haven’t seen my schedule yet butI’m sure I’ll be working, I only seem to get one day off at a time and tomorrow is it. Oh well Star Trek and the Stooges! Oh and dinner at my brothers’ house, food alweays tastes better when someone else cooks it.

pj’s suggestion might be better. The Green 960 option is in hour segments. I can say that I have seen the local having some of these segments up before the entire show is over and shows that are on tape posted before their terrestrial b’cast has aired.
