Did you sleep an extra hour this morning? Or just find yourself with an extra hour to kill? Either way, it’s the final Booblehead before the 2008 elections, so surely they have some very important information to impart to us today.
First off, thanks to the NYC Marathon, Press the Meat will be on earlier today, at 8:00 AM Eastern. At least in NYC. If you actually care when it’s on in your area, check your local listings. For Obama, Tom Brokaw has John Kerry. And the best he could scrape up for McCain is Grampa Fred Thompson. Then it’s a roundtable with the very serious Dean David Broder, the Gilligan of the NBC News team, David Gregory, NPR’s Michele Norris & Chuck “the schmuck” Todd.
Over at Faze the Nation, it’s the Obama campaign’s David Axelrod, li’l Lindsey Graham, DSCC chair Chuck Schumer, and his Republican counterpart, John Ensign.
Over at Fux News Sunday, it’s the battle of the campaign chairmen, as Weaselface Wallace hosts Rick Davis from Grampa McCain’s campaign, and David Plouffe for Obama. Plus Pillsbury Dough Nazi Karl Rove will show us “his” math. And the usual fuxheads will be on hand as well.
On the Goebbels network, George Snufalufagus trots out David Axelrod and Rick Davis one more time, plus there’s an “extended” roundtable with Time’s Mark Halperin, political mastermind Donna Brazile, Matt Dowd, and George :jerk: Will.
CNN’s Late Emission pairs up PA senators Bob Casey and Arlen Specter, and then a quadrant of Governeors: Tim Kaine, (D) Virginia, Mark Sanford, (R) South Carolina, Tim Pawlenty, (R) Minnesota, and Deval Patrick, (D) Massachusetts.
Later, on 60 minutes, Lesleh Stahl tells us how returning reservists are getting the shaft, Katie Couric reports on a fake cop, and Scott Pelley looks at a Brain/Computer interface.
Enjoy your Sunday, ‘cuz it’s gonna be dark early tonight.
