Yet another entry for the “tempus fugit” files, as it was 11 years ago today that we got married (go here for a few way over-compressed photos of the festivities – I was gearing everything towards dial-up back in those days, and my web design skills were rather lacking, so please forgive me). I only regret I can’t post the video of a monkey wearing a dress that we saw on our overnight honeymoon (a trip to Montana would follow about three weeks later).
The traditional anniversary gift for 11 years is apparently steel, while the modern gift is jewelry. So, I suppose I should go out and steal some jewelry. But, instead, I reckon I’ll just have the steel brake line that blew out in my van replaced instead. Not especially romantic, I suppose, but more romantic than slamming into a bridge abutment because your brakes don’t work.
Have a good Saturday.
Happy Anniversary!
A fixed brake line should keep you together for another 11 years!

Haven’t been able to even check-in this week. Crazy times. Mr. Fk & Carlos are at least a bit closer together. Each of the company’s they’re with have been surrounded by Taliban and they have been unable to reunite. Mr. Fk’s company ran out of poop bags. Evidently, they have to poop in bags for sanitary reasons. So they’ve dug a trench and now everyone is sick. Sounds like WW II to me.
btw, it’s hotter than hell HERE> :hot: I miss CO!
Oh, and I called this ass-hole and left a message that if his public health care plan wasn’t killing him, what makes him think it would kill us.
And if someone left their hand on my inner-thigh, why the hell wouldn’t you move their hand OFF your thigh (with a slap to boot). Brooks left it there???
Did you know that not one Republican voted for Social Security when it was created? Not one. Wonder how many refuse to take the money now….. Wonder how many of these ole boys (and gals) used GI bills to get their education?
Have a good day, all. I have to find a place for us to live……
Congratulations on the big lucky One-One!
Had you known you could have attended the Canandaigua, NY date on 7/8/09 of Judas Priest’s British Steel 30th anniversary tour (not that there is anything wrong with it).
Maybe this is more appropriate.

Congratulations PJ and RG. A good marriage is really nice. Good for promoting health and longevity. A working set of brakes should assist too.
Hubby and I got married at Brooklyn Borough Hall. I was so nervous that when I tried to put a ring on his finger his hand appeared to be all thumbs. I had to ask him which was his ring finger. Things are much better, though. I can identify all ten of his fingers.
