My Monday thing is going to be pretty easy today and for the next 2 weeks. One of the teachers has federal jury duty which means that she goes to jury duty every Monday and if she doesn’t get on a jury she doesn’t go back ’til the following Monday. That means I work from 10:00 to 11:30. Not as good as not working at all but not to be disparaged either.
Yeah, Monday is spose to be my day off but I have to work these days. Which would totally suck if I hated my job, but I don’t get much done at home now.
If you thought Palin couldn’t surprise you or prove to be even more stupid:
She touched on climate change, saying that her skepticism has been proven by several recent controversies and that money shouldn’t be spent on “pie-in-the-sky, snake-oil ideas.”
The vocal opponent of health care reform in the U.S. steered largely clear of the topic except to reveal a tidbit about her life growing up not far from Whitehorse.
“We used to hustle over the border for health care we received in Canada,” she said. “And I think now, isn’t that ironic.”

Sleeping in on your day off rocks.
