Another early day for me (at least, it damn well better be), and between that and watching KO and the DS/CR hour recordings, I ran out of time this morning. In fact, I’m already at my desk and wondering why I didn’t just stay in bed this morning. Oh well, back to paying the bills.
Buggy buggery.
Was he texting while driving his horse and buggy?
ewww :yuck: What was a 12-yr-old Amish girl doing with a cell phone? Seems odd that a child that young would be allowed to have one seeing as how the Amish tend to shun such technology for the most part. Maybe she was using Papa’s phone.
Oh, well. Willard will surely be shunned when he gets out of the slammer.
I’ll pull out. Honest.
Politifact rated Jon Stewart’s statement that Fox viewers were the most misinformed as false. However, many complained that Politifact had looked at how uninformed people were and not how misinformed they were. Politifact responded and noted:
Steven Kull, the director of WorldPublicOpinion.org, wrote us after the story appeared to say that testing for lack of knowledge is not enough. “We analyzed the effect of increased exposure to news outlets. We found that with all other outlets, increased exposure generally resulted in less misinformation. However, for Fox viewers, on nine points of information, increased exposure correlated with increased misinformation. This was true of only one point of information for public broadcasting and MSNBC viewers, and two points of information for network news. This effect was found in the 2003 study as well. Fox viewers were the only group for whom increased exposure resulted in greater misinformation.”

There’s all kinds and levels of Amish. I stayed at an Amish B&B years ago. Made the reservation on the phone which was kept in the barn along with the electric milking machine.
The house had no electricity and a coal stove. The evenings entertainment was watching the lightening bugs come out of the grass and fly into the corn field.
The mister had a :kub: but his inlaws were strictly horse and buggy
