I was reluctant to get up and get the party started at 4:45 this morning, but Fritz insisted. So we all went out. Then came in and had breakfast (well, the puppies did), and then went back out again. Now the puppies are both cuddled up on Fritzi’s couch, and he’s relegated to the floor. Things are much more at ease these days, as Fritz has learned that puppies are kinda fun after all. Especially his little buddy Bud, who takes a pounding and keeps coming back for more. My favorite move is the body slam into the tree stump.
Otherwise, not much going on. Lots of puppy poop (and pee). I heard Newt on NPR the other day, saying how Obama is a dangerous radical. If only. Looks like Santorum has a chance to screw Romney in Michigan. They say be careful what you wish for, but I have to believe that Santorum as the nominee would pretty much seal the deal for Obama. Though if he actually won….
Oh well, the monsters are stirring. Must be about time for another poop run.
Free pancakes at IHOP today. Woo-hoo.
Where is Vern?
I think Vern mostly hangs out at FB posting great music video’s that I usually don’t have the time to watch.
Sorry. art has it part right. I don’t like to clutter up the MS blog with the videos. I meant to give a thumbs up to the US Post Office the other day and the Syria and Iran crap is pretty disturbing. Should have said something about the book Bud Wilkinson’s son wrote.
I got home Sunday night from an Oscar party and had a message that the place I live in is changing property managers and that kind of freaked me out but for now it sounds like things are going to be OK.
Thanks for noticing and I’ll try to do better.
Gee, I don’t know, Vernon. Not like there’s a whole lot of activity around here anymore. Not much to clutter up.
The first time I ever got to see rock “stars” close-up (not sure if Dan et-al qualify as stars) was Hicks and the Lickettes eating at a Mexican restaurant when they were appearing at Tulagi’s in Boulder about the same year this video was shot.
He seemed like kind of a dick but I LOVED and still love, the music. (Bay-Area Swing?)
This one has always haunted me (in a good way)

I think Dan could be accused of that. Alcohol could have been part of it. They were a great band and he’s done some god stuff through the years. There is a celebration coming up here soon of Dan.
In an oblique coincidental way he was part of how I ended up in SF.
