I’m sure everyone was as sad as I am to hear that Michelle Bachmann will not be seeking reelection to her House seat next year. Aw. Michelle isn’t ruling out another presidential run, but my guess is she took a look at the Sarah Palin gravy train and decided there’s a heckuva lotta money to be made as a teabagger darling (and no pesky ethics considerations). So long, Michelle. I’d say we’re gonna miss you, but I suspect we’ll be seeing even more of you after you’re out of office than we do now. And that’s a damn shame. Thank goodness we still have guys like this around:
I mention those two examples of male pulchritude (Chuck Grassley and Yertel the McConnell) because they are two of the many Republicans who are all up in arms because Obama is attempting to pack the courts with his godless communist judicial appointees (assuming you define “packing” as trying to fill vacancies).
Things have been a little cool and rainy around here, but that’s supposed to change as things become hot and rainy today – and supposedly up into the 90s tomorrow. Maybe we’ll actually get into the pool one of these days.
Happy 96th birthday to JFK.
I admit I have never liked Republicans. I told my kids and grandkids that their choice of mate was their own, with one exception: no Republicans. (I like Thanksgiving dinners without them.) But this present group of Rethugs is more than unwelcome at Thanksgiving. I have difficulty seeing their pictures and hearing their BS at anytime.
But I do like the name Yertle McConnell. It fits ol’ Yertle perfectly.
That’s so funny, sp, as I have given the identical admonishment to my brood!

We’ve been having rowdy thunderstorms lately. A tornado touched down in Perkins today and hopefully there were no casualties. We’ve been under watches and warnings but no sirens since the Moore Monster. Crazy May in twister-ville.
At the least it must be very unnerving to live through tornado season. Be safe.
You definitely don’t want to get stuck in a storm cellar with a bunch of Republicans, that’s for sure.
Imagine your kid marries a Rethug. Every time you see her/him you have to keep company with a Republican. Maybe Michelle Bachmann or Paul Ryan.
More crazy ass weather and tornados in OK right now. There was a pic on the FB the other day of Mr. F-kat last week.
Hopefully they are OK again and maybe even out of town this weekend for movie bidness.
OKat in the basement in the last 10 minutes.
OKat is OK and Mr. F-kat should be on Nightline tonight.
That’s good news. Thanks Vern.
