Hard to imagine that it’s been nine and a half years since the end of Morning Sedition.

First tornado sirens of the season have gone off and we were hunkered down in the basement with the four dorks. Definitely have to do some provisioning and straightening up down there. We got an all clear here. The winds sound unlike most winds I’ve heard. It’s a deep rumble wind – like continuous thunder . They say 60 – 70 mph. Several tornadoes touched down and several in Moore again. I sure hope all is a-ok. Oh no, heard a semi overturned and a vehicle… Not even 2 years later another tornado in Moore…..
I was watching that. It seems so early but maybe because it’s the first.
It is the first one. Don’t think we’ve had one for a long while, too.
I hope it’s a quiet year out there. That tornado shit scares me – I’ll take a blizzard any day.

If I got to pick, I think I’d prefer Elizabeth Warren or Bernie Sanders. But once again, nobody cares what I think.
I’m pretty sure my life will remain unchanged either way, though I will say that Chuck is very good about getting things for his constituents in NY state. He even pays attention to us yokels from north of Westchester. I guess that’s why he keeps getting re-elected.
My fantasy pick would be Franken.
Franken would probably be very good at it. The position needs someone who can herd the cats. Schumer is probably good at that. We Shall see.
