Hey, didn’t we just have one of these last month?
I know nobody out there but me cares, but last night SU beat #3 ranked UCONN 127-117 in 6 OTs in the Big East Tournament quarterfinals. It was the second longest game in NCAA history, clocking at 3 hours and 46 minutes, and wasn’t over until almost 1:30 this morning. That’s about all I’ve got.
You’re right. Nobody but you cares.
🙂
Well, to be fair, somebody else must care, since the story is on the front pages of the NY Times, Newsday, and Washington Post websites (just to name a few).
pj- Don’t take any guff from anybody. Thank your stars you don’t live in a basketball deprived area with the likes of the CU Buffs. (0-15? in conference play). That was a huge game. Enjoy your bliss :yippee:
Oh, I don’t much care what anybody thinks. I’m happy for a day, that’s all that matters. Everybody around here (except my wife, of course) cares. I don’t think offices in CNY will be setting any productivity records today, that’s for sure.
Unfortunately, they have to play again tonight, and they probably won’t have much gas in the tank. At least West Virginia (yay, Vernon!) managed to knock off Pitt yesterday, but there aren’t any easy games in this tournament.
anybody catch jim cramer getting his ass kicked?
sorry pj please edit that smaller somehow 😳
There, how’s that?
😀 many thanks kind sir catch you all later
It’s tragic that “The Daily Show” is probably the closest we’ll ever come to a real trial of any of these sonsofbitches. :fustrate:
None the less, I got some great pleasure watching Jon cut Cramer’s nuts off. :growl:
Sean! :yippee:
pj, glad you have a moment of glory with your team! That’s very cool.
i just love that Stewart interview. Comedy Central – Where Real Reporters Report – who’d a thunk it?
I almost said something last night but I figured you might have something this AM. Thanks for noticing the Mountaineers.
I have been having trouble getting The Daily Show online today. Thanks, Sean.
Bravo! AG Holder!

It’s pretty funny, everybody around town today is walking around half-asleep, with big bags under red eyes. They really shouldn’t keep us up so late on a school night.
We rented a car yesterday, as ours will be in the shop until Wednesday, and that allowed me to get Lola to the vet and to ask her why puppies are born with worms.
Here’s her explanation: Although the mother is treated successfully for round worms, some form of them is able to insinuate itself into tissue where it remains dormant until the hormones produced by lactation resuscitate it and it is passed through the milk to the puppy where it grows to an adult round worm.
Poor puppy! These parasites are very clever at evading elimination. They much remind me of Rethugs!
Sue, Thom Hartmann had a good show on wednesday 3-4, hour 2, about the benefits of worms and talked about some studies. It was incredibly interesting. It confirms a lot of things for me. :sammy:
Sounds like another great game tonight. I think pj will be happy when he wakes up. beemer won’t care.
Well, since pj must still be in bed-
