Well, what do these people have in store for us today? On Press the Meet, the Potatoheaded one has Jack Murtha, and then, if you’re gonna get screwed, you gotta have lube, so Shell President John Hofmeister, ConocoPhillips CEO James Mulva, and Chevron CEO David O’Reilly will be on to tell us how it’s all supply and demand, and never mind those record profits and outrageous CEO salaries.
On Faze the Nation, Tony Snowjob reminisces on his visit to Baghdad with dear leader, and then we’ll try to tell the difference between Lindsay Graham and Joe Biden (hint, Graham is the more effeminate one).
ABC has the World Cup (USA, USA, USA…), so we’ll have to get by without George Snufalufagus “this week.” Go rent “The War Room” if you want to see him – it’s nice to have a movie with a happy ending (so to speak).
It’s more Snow in June as Tony “the Job” heads over to chat with Weaselface Wallace on Fux News Sunday. Then John Podesta and Simon Rosenberg will dispense some conventional wisdom on how the Dems can win back the House (since they’ve been so goddamn right about everything up ’til now).
On CNN’s Späte Ausgabe mit Wolf Blitzer, it’s :omg: more Snow in June! Plus the Kansas ashole himself, Pat Roberts, DINO Dianne Feinstein, Iraq’s foreign minister, Hoshyar Zebari, former Sec State, Lawrence Eagleburger, and Zbigniew Brzezinski (gesundheit).
Later, on 60 Minutes, Bob Simon goes swimming with the sharks, Ed Bradley does a story on those evil environmentalists and animal rights groups (they’re the “biggest domestic terror threat,” docha know), and then Morley Safer talks to Texas gubernatorial candidate Kinky Friedman.
The new season of The Dead Zone begins on USA at 10:00 PM Eastern. And if you’ve got HBO, you can watch Deadwood.
Happy Father’s Day to all you dads out there, and Happy 64 to Paul McCartney. Enjoy your Sunday.

Nicki needs to download Flanders’s program from last night. She actually addressed the Palestinian-Israeli problem and had a very good guest who lambasted US foreign policy in that area :omg::omg::omg:
Wattenburg aka Wattenturd is a jerk. KGO has some very strange programming .. Most of their liberal talk is on in the middle of the night. Wattenturd is a glaring exception:gate::omg::jason::fist:

C-span WJ was discussing the space shuttle and this launch which no one at NASA wants to do.. So why are they doing it ??
I had a rather brief interaction with NASA in the 1980’s. They were dominated by cronyism and lack of ideas then so I somewhat doubt that the space program that exists today in bush world is worth the powder to blow it to h*
:roll::yuck::eek::mad::omg:
WJ has the perfect guy to discuss GTMO some one from the Foundation for the Defeat of the Democrats in 06.:fu::fu::fu::mad::rant1: 🙁
FK, thanks for Mr. Fish. That was priceless 😀

Morning all.

This is nice.
Things are really working out well, now that Zarkawi’s dead.
PJ, do you think there is anything to the gossip you shared yesterday about George and Laura?
Seeing as I have no basis on which to judge it, I have to say “absolutely.” Supposedly it was confirmed that Laura and whatever entourage accompanies her spent at least one night at the Mayflower. Hard to move around discreetly when you’re the first lady. Just moving in the two or three cases of lithium she takes a day would raise eyebrows.
Though, I’m not sure why Laura would care, exactly. As one of the wives (Sil’s, I think) on the Sopranos said re: her hubby’s gumar, “that’s one less thing I have to do.”
I think the real problem is that dubya is drinking and belligerent, and is having three-ways with Condi and whoever is filling in for Jeff Gannon/Guckert these days.
Thanks for the confirmation, PJ :rofl2:
Hey , good morning…Im running by to say that I put Rich on ripcoco and also a new movie last night…havent had a time to ready back yet…but will look later on.
I have to take Will to a friend’s house and see my birdy…then will come back and try to climb my pile of bills….
electric looks to be over $400 this month…huh?
I may be able to build a case with myself here for the solar thing….Just need some time to figure it out.
Oh…and you all can see a pic of me and my dad if you make it past Murtha and Rich….
what a life…
at least I got out of the father’s day family stuff because its really sorta sore here for Will…and its just not good enough to see great-grandpa instead.
We can alway hope that asshole takes a moment to call his sone…unlikely, but then, who knows?
So, I think my doggie might have hemeroids. Can you apply prep H or do you need a doggie version that costs twice as much?
That’s a great picture of you and your dad, Melina. You look like a movie star from the 40’s 🙂

KP, anal glands need cleaning – “expressed” – by the sounds of it… but I’m not an expert 😀 I did trim all five of my neighbor’s dogs nails today, though. :knit: now for my guys….
isi, i was reading just a bit on the national organic certification and there can have been no synthetic chemicals used for 3 years. thought your sis might want to check on that, too. Georgia organics has some pretty good info/business planning. Melina, sustainable table is a great web site. thanks!
maybe we shouldn’t give up on libraries & books:
Oh yeah, the anal gland. I forgot about that. I’ve never had to deal with it personally. :yuck:

BROADVIEW HEIGHTS, Ohio — A 75-year-old northeast Ohio woman is recovering from injuries she received this week when a deer got into her home and attacked her.
Mary Blake of suburban Cleveland opened her patio door Wednesday to let her border collie back inside and was shocked when a female deer followed close behind.
Blake says she tried to shut the door, but the deer knocked it off track and then knocked into Blake and started stomping her.
Blake frantically called police as the deer damaged her walls, furniture and some keepsakes.
Two police officers arrived and were able to coax the deer outside.
Blake was treated at the hospital for bruises and cuts on her arms, legs and stomach. She has 27 stitches on her right knee.

Farmerkat, re #49  Yea for “libraries & books” but 😮 I have gmail/google cuz I thought they were the “good” ones and could hardly wait till my server time has ended but NOW WHO DO I USE? I need more tea:joe:
…and I saw also some of ISI (Isi:smile:) and your postings
re(garding) animals, especially the horses.
I had contacted the BLM and more regarding the wild horses (and donkeys) before …. and Ford Vehicle swore to me that they are doing much for WILD Mustangs(SINCE THEY SHOULD CARE About WILD MUSTANGS — since they do SELL MUSTANGS Vehicles and use Wild Mustangs and/or horses IN THEIR Advertisements. Well, time to contact BLM again and instead of Ford now it will solely (at this time) be the the Wild Mustang organizations. It never stops.:(
…..Other than that, how are You ?…..
MASON NECK STATE PARK, Va. — Paul Sieber was wearing a “Star Trek” uniform in the deep Virginia woods when he found himself surrounded by a leathery-looking gang.
Fortunately, the ruffians were dressed up as Klingons, and Mr. Sieber, with a cigarette dangling from his mouth, was preparing to film them with a $6,000 digital video camera. At times like this, Mr. Sieber, the writer and director of “Starship Farragut,” must come to grips with the obvious — not all Klingons are trained actors
From these Virginia woods to the Scottish Highlands, “Star Trek” fans are filling the void left by a galaxy that has lost “Star Trek.” For the first time in nearly two decades, television spinoffs from the original 1960’s “Star Trek” series have ended, so fans are banding together to make their own episodes.

RAMADI, Iraq – Thousands of U.S. and Iraqi troops set up outposts Sunday in southern parts of Ramadi as part of an operation to establish Iraqi army bases in the country’s largest Sunni Arab city and wrest it away from months of insurgent control.
U.S. commanders stressed that the operation was not a large-scale assault on the city but rather an “isolation” tactic to prevent insurgents from receiving supplies or reinforcements from outside. Arab television networks and some Western outlets have reported on an impending attack on the city

Since the “insurgents” are really the Iraqi’s themselves this begins to sound like the siege of Leningrad.. to bad it doesn’t snow in IRAQ.:40::40::omg: 🙁

Krista-
Thanks for the nice words about the pic of me and my dad…that was at my friend’s wedding where I was a bridesmaid…first and last time, I swear…though she did let us wear black, so I was able to reuse the dress thing.
The answer to the Prep H thing is, most likely yes. I use just about every human medicine on my dogs…and the vet uses them too.
Pepto bismol and pepcid work good…kaopectate….most dogs stuff is just a lower dose of human medicines.
Lola takes benedryl and Buck used to be on Prozac…
The thing is that maybe you need to look at the dog’s diet. Try a really good organic human grade food like Prarie and see if it doesnt get better…or try the raw diet that they have balanced and frozen into little discs in the dog supply store.
My problem is that my little Jardine parrot in the nursery got a yeast problem (which is pretty normal for babies on formula) but keeps spitting up and cant keep alot fo food down at a time. Jardines have very delicate lungs and if they aspirate formula at all they can be more prone to certain diseases later on….
Hey Druid!! where you been?
Kat, I hope Mr is feeling better from the bad tuna…and now to be working so hard. Are the others sick or being sent to different places? I like that Engle fellow;-)…Also havent heard anythign from Mick Ware lately, but then Ive been only on MSNBC and AAR lately.
After hearing Murtha twice today about how hot it is and the packs they are carrying…I was thinking that maybe its minus the packs but its the same sort of stuck in the heat with no control over anything…
Tell Mr that I say thanks for being there to tell the story….
I guess we will see him on the NBC news and on MSNBC…?…and hear him on Marc and Imus too?
hope everybody had a Happy Father’s Day! Hey Druid, welcome back, we all missed you  Wow, Melina, I LOVE the picture! Didn’t get to see my dad (except in my mind/heart), but did get to play with my nephew who is 13 months’ old and now walking…
hello, :holla: (if that truly means hi:grin:) am I really here:?:

Melina, lola is PRECIOUS (and you are precious in black dress pix:hubba: )
