Well, here comes another week. Let’s hope the world survives until Friday. It would be nice if we had a preznit who would strongly condemn Israel’s actions and actual work for a way to end this shit, but of course we don’t have one of those. It’s hard to tell whether dubya’s hands-off approach to things – the Middle East, North Korea, New Orleans, among others – is better or worse than when he actually sticks his dick into something – like Iraq and Condi Rice. Either way, we’ll be awfully lucky to make it to November – let alone 2008 – with this bunch in charge. And now we have to do it without Marc and Jim to at least give us an hour and a quarter’s worth of the funny every day. I don’t think I even wanna look at the news this morning, but I suppose I’d better see if the world got blown up overnight, so I can go back to bed. Have a good Monday. Well, do the best you can.
Good morning! Number one 🙂 :peace::pent:
YEA:banana::pent:Susan_Joy is #1:banana:YEA
I wasn’t going to put dancing banana because of the sad state, but then I saw it was you…how could I resist 😉
merry meetings Druid…where the freak is everyone? Back to WORK today unfortunately :growl:
Mornin’. Sorry I missed you last night Druid, but I was still a bit burned out from staying up so late on Friday night (a shame that living in a dorm can’t bring back my youthful ability to stay up all night and not feel it for a week).
Good morning everyone. And thanks to fledging standup comedian Vladimir Putin for bringing the funny. With Marc and Jim forcibly removed (for now), I guess we’ll have to snag the funny wherever we can find it.
😀
Good morning, sheeple! I am listening to Morning Sedition from October 25, 2005. I just can’t handle Riley this morning. I wonder if he’s relieved or disappointed that Marc isn’t coming back?
This is the one from right after Paul Hackett announced his Senate run. It put me into a time warp where I was excited: “W00t! Hackett’s going to be on!” Duh….
How ’bout them Mets? I turned off the game at 7-2 Cubs and wake up to a 13-7 Mets win.
I haven’t looked at the real news this morning. I’m kind of afraid. I’m so torn about what’s going on in Israel/Lebanon I can’t stand it. On the one hand, I think Israel is behaving abominably. On the other hand, I do think that while there is plenty of reason to hate what the Israeli government is doing, some of the sentiment out there is really bordering on anti-Semitism.
I don’t think that Israel = all Jews, and God knows Israel is giving pretty much everyone a reason to be pissed off. One blogger’s Jewish father said it succinctly: “Why are they trying to make it look like Hitler was right?”
So what’s the answer for Israel? Can a country be blamed for being hypersensitive when everyone around it wants it wiped off the map? Should it be dismantled? If so, who gets that land? Does that solve anything? It seems to me that NO ONE has EVER given a shit about the Palestinians; that they have been convenient pawns in the region for everyone’s grievances.
I haven’t blogged on this because I have no answers.
Yeah, you’re right. The Palestinians have been pretty much shunned by everyone in the region. I just wish everybody would take a good look at each other over there. Then maybe they’d realize that they’re all the same frickin’ people. But Israel just can’t seem to stop itself, and with the US enabling them for many years, and with this particular administration pretty much ignoring the situation, we have what amounts to a fire in a fireworks factory. I hope somebody puts it out soon, but it sure doesn’t look like that’s gonna happen.
So, Tsunami after a 7.2 earthquake in the Indian Ocean. 5 people in Java killed so far.
Now it looks like Israeli ground forces have invaded Lebanon. Breaking news, no details just yet.
Morning everyone.
The British and the French have evacuated people from Lebanon but the Americans have yet to come to the rescue. We are so inept. It starts at the top.
“a fire in a fireworks factory” pjsauter :nod: :barf::rofl2: (sick laugh)re #7…

If what Maddow just said is true Iran is trying to get Israel to start a war with them..:shock:
The Syrian ambassador was on WJ this morning he told it pretty much the way it is with Israel’s illegal occupation of the countries territories and that they have turned Gaza into a Palestinian concentration camp. He got a lot of calls from people speaking broken English who agreed that they should wipe Israel’s ass with this war .. Now who in the region could possibly do that ?? What do they know that we are not being told ??:paranoid:
Thank you Bush, you’re number 1. :fu: For making it internationally OK to make war.
(Morning evening :yinyang: )
Farmerkat, We are so inept. It starts at the top. Is Mr.still on friendly soil:?:
Also, I have sbcglobal.net (as you probably know it is Yahoo) and I think maybe still a yahoo “other” site…so if ever want to talk I could try to comprehend and be not too frighten to try 😉
And everytime I use “emo”, which I use mostly instead of writing, I think of you…so when I am affluent in using “emos” I laugh :rofl2: and make humourous comments to or about you, like Farmerkat, is probably  get after me.:rofl2: But please understand all is “a JOKE” (AKA MY LEAD BALLOON HUMOUR). It is my bedtime shortly = War On (my) Brains,,,,,aka No Working Mind.:wink:
It would not surprise me if Iran is pulling the strings. They know what pushes Israel’s buttons.
The one thing that’s loud and clear here is that Bush has turned us into a paper tiger. We have no clout, no influence. We are Scut Farkas after Ralphie punched him in the nose.
I’m not big fan of the Clinton centrist B.S., but I can tell you this much: If Clinton were in the White House, all parties would be at the table getting schmoozed by the master and forced to talk. Instead, we have a frat boy with behavior issues mugging his way through Europe wondering when and what he’s going to eat next.
Farmerkat, did you see this article about Americans trapped in Lebanon, via Huffington Post.

Was having a phone conversation with my republican sister last night when she brought up the horrific state of affairs in the Middle East. (I never bring up stuff like this to her.) I said things like we need to be less dependent on foreign oil. And, when I said we are powerless to intervene because of being bogged down in Iraq she said “don’t start with me.” And, then said, God is in control and the Bible has predicted everything that is happening now. I said something innocuous and the conversation ended. It sucks that I don’t feel like I can say what I really think. I feel like she baited me.:???:
The navy isn’t bogged down in Iraq.. I think Bush is trying to invoke armageddon.. he may succeed but the outcome will be backwards from the story told in the bible.:gate::omg::yuck::eek::shock::paranoid:
To get a feeling for what Bush is going to unleash watch the movie The Day After. The fundies will get raptured all right but it won’t quite be the way they envision.:omg::paranoid:

President Vladimir Putin said Monday that Russia would consider contributing troops to an international force in the Middle East if the United Nations approves deployment.
“So far there is no decision yet on sending peacekeeping troops. When there will be a decision we will consider whether to take part,” Putin said.
Putin said he was not certain that the return of abducted Israeli soldiers would stop fighting in the Middle East.

They had a section for Lebanese, Palestinians and Israelis. But, I get so confused about who is Arab. Are Lebanese Arab? I know Iranians are Persian. At the very bottom they had Michelle Malkin :billcat: but they also had Larry Johnson.

Hezbollah or Hizbollah/Hizbullah[1] (Arabic ???? ?????, meaning Party of God) is a governmental and militant Lebanese Islamist group, with a military arm and a civilian arm, founded in 1982 to fight the Israeli Defense Forces who occupied southern Lebanon until the year 2000.[2] Its leader is Hassan Nasrallah.
Hezbollah was “inspired by the success of the Iranian Revolution”[3] and was formed primarily to offer resistance to the Israeli occupation.[4] Hezbollah’s political platform has consistently called for the destruction of Israel.[5] The United States and Israel say that Hezbollah has received financial and political assistance, as well as weapons and training, from Iran and Syria[7]. Syria says it supports Hezbollah, but denies supplying it with weapons.[6] Along with the Amal movement, Hezbollah is the main political party and militant organization representing the Shia community, Lebanon’s largest religious bloc[7]. Founded with the aid of Iran and funded by it[8], it follows the distinctly Shiite Islamist ideology developed by Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran[citation needed].
Hezbollah is regarded by many inside and outside of the Arab and Muslim worlds, such as the Iranian[9] and Syrian[8] governments, as a legitimate resistance movement and is a recognized political party in Lebanon, where it has participated in government[10].
Hezbollah is considered a terrorist organization by Israel[9],the United States[10] and the United Kingdom[11] . The European Union does not consider Hezbollah a “terrorist organization”, but does support measures aimed at ending their “terrorist activities”[12].
The civilian wing participates in the Parliament of Lebanon, taking 18% of the chairs (23 out of 128) and the bloc it forms with others, the “Resistance and Development Bloc”, a little less than 30% (see Lebanese general election, 2005). It is a minority partner in the current Cabinet.
The civilian wing also runs hospitals, news services, and educational facilities. Its Reconstruction Campaign (Jihad al-Bina) is responsible for numerous economic and infrastructural development projects in Lebanon.[13]

France’s prime minister is in Lebanon to express his country’s support for the Lebanese people in the face of a massive Israeli onslaught on the country.
Dominique de Villepin landed in Beirut on Monday afternoon and went straight into talks with the Lebanese prime minister, Fuad Siniora, officials said.
Philippe Douste-Blazy, France’s foreign minister, accompanied him.
De Villepin called for “an immediate humanitarian truce” to end the hostilities between Israel and the Lebanese Shia group Hezbollah.
Jacques Chirac, the French president, dispatched his prime minister and foreign minister to meet Siniora and “convey to him the support of France and the solidarity of the French people with the Lebanese people in their ordeal,” the president’s office said.

These private airports are getting to be to close to industrial parks and suburbia for the kinds of planes that use them. The Jefferson country airport was used by DOE to transport plutonium triggers from Rocky Flats to the assembly plant outside of Amarillo.. For some reason that was considered safer than transporting them there by rail which they did for 20 some years. The departing planes flew directly over south east Boulder.:eek::eek::shock:

As I understand it, the neighborhood grew up around the Hillsboro airport and not the other way around. It crashed near the home of one of the directors here at work and she’s not here today so we don’t know if she’s affected.
Thats usually the case.. They build an airport out in the country some place and in 20 years its almost in down town. The new Denver airport was way out in the toolies when they built it. Now its all industrial parks and medium income housing.. Its on the land that used to be the Rocky Mountain Arsenal so no telling what kinds of things are buried in peoples back years.:shock::yuck:

Fred, I lived in Denver when DIA was being built and my roommate at the time placed a bet with me. She said that within five years there would be a noise complaint from someone living in the new developments being thrown together near DIA. I moved too soon to know and she didn’t follow the news about it after I’d left. So…how long did it take?
This is my first post here. I always ckecked the blog but for some reason felt intimidated. No idea why. I’ve rarely done any blogging at all. I listened to MS from day one and TMMS for its entirety as well. As this latest incarnation wound up I really felt down. Almost worse than the first time. I put up a comment or two on Marc’s blog before the show wrapped and I’ve decided very belatedly to check in here. Hope it’s okay. If not let me know and I’ll leave you guys to yourselves.
Hey Leopold. Welcome – we’re glad you’re here.
Thanks. I’ll try my best to keep up and contibute. I’m so down now and it’s just completely embarassing. I’m not an inexperienced person (probably a bit too experienced) and despite many sorts of attachments in my life I’ve never encountered this sort of grief as the result of a media-loss. The whole show really supported my day in a way that other sorts of public medias never did and I truly feel without a very accustomed-to buffer. What a drag. Hope you’re all holding up well.

PJ gave us this lovely sturdy ark to keep us amused and afloat. It’s so nice that even when maron surfaces, we stay on board!

The operation to rescue thousands of Britons from Lebanon could become the UK’s largest evacuation since Dunkirk, a Foreign Office minister has said.
Kim Howells told MPs the UK was responsible for 12,000 Britons in Lebanon, 10,000 with dual nationality and some Commonwealth nationals.
Evacuations have already begun amid the worsening Mid-East crisis with 37 of the most vulnerable flown to Cyprus.
Mr Howells said “departure by sea” was the best option for future evacuations.
The Ministry of Defence said four extra Royal Navy warships had been sent to the eastern Mediterranean to help with a possible evacuation

Senator Clinton Speaks Up for Israel at U.N. Rally
Speaking at a boisterous rally for Israel near the United Nations headquarters this afternoon, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton said she supported taking “whatever steps are necessary” to defend Israel against Hamas, Hezbollah, Iraq and Syria in the military conflict in the Middle East.
Senator Clinton, addressing a crowd of several thousand people, said the United States must show “solidarity and support” for Israel in the face of the “unwarranted, unprovoked” seizure of three Israeli soldiers by members of Hamas and Hezbollah, which she referred to as among “the new totalitarians of the 21st century.”
“We will stand with Israel because Israel is standing for American values as well as Israeli ones,” said Mrs. Clinton, who was joined by two dozen political and religious leaders on a stage along 42nd Street.
Mrs. Clinton, who is seeking re-election to the Senate and is considered a possible candidate for president in 2008, also compared Israel’s fierce response, which has included heavy bombardment of Lebanon, to a theoretical response by the United States if it faced attacks from neighboring countries.

“The Insane Brutality of the State of Israel”
Atrocities in the Promised Land
By KATHLEEN CHRISTISON
former CIA analyst
Words fail; ordinary terms are inadequate to describe the horrors Israel daily perpetrates, and has perpetrated for years, against the Palestinians. The tragedy of Gaza has been described a hundred times over, as have the tragedies of 1948, of Qibya, of Sabra and Shatila, of Jenin — 60 years of atrocity perpetrated in the name of Judaism. But the horror generally falls on deaf ears in most of Israel, in the U.S. political arena, in the mainstream U.S. media. Those who are horrified — and there are many — cannot penetrate the shield of impassivity that protects the political and media elite in Israel, even more so in the U.S., and increasingly now in Canada and Europe, from seeing, from caring.
But it needs to be said now, loudly: those who devise and carry out Israeli policies have made Israel into a monster, and it has come time for all of us — all Israelis, all Jews who allow Israel to speak for them, all Americans who do nothing to end U.S. support for Israel and its murderous policies — to recognize that we stain ourselves morally by continuing to sit by while Israel carries out its atrocities against the Palestinians.
A nation that mandates the primacy of one ethnicity or religion over all others will eventually become psychologically dysfunctional. Narcissistically obsessed with its own image, it must strive to maintain its racial superiority at all costs and will inevitably come to view any resistance to this imagined superiority as an existential threat. Indeed, any other people automatically becomes an existential threat simply by virtue of its own existence. As it seeks to protect itself against phantom threats, the racist state becomes increasingly paranoid, its society closed and insular, intellectually limited. Setbacks enrage it; humiliations madden it. The state lashes out in a crazed effort, lacking any sense of proportion, to reassure itself of its strength…

Gaza/Lebanon Talking Points
” The Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip constitute collective punishment of the entire Gazan population, and have created a humanitarian crisis of unprecedented proportions in Gaza.
” All these attacks violate the Fourth Geneva Convention, which sets out the obligations of occupying powers and specifically prohibits collective punishments, “targeted” assassinations, and destruction of the infrastructure of an occupied territory.
” Israel’s assault on Gaza does not constitute a re-occupation, because Israel’s occupation of Gaza never ended.
” The expansion of the military escalation to Lebanon represents a serious threat of escalation, especially if there is involvement from Syria, as well as threatening to divert international attention from the continuing crisis in Gaza..
” The ongoing Gaza crisis is political, not just humanitarian. It reflects the failure of Israeli unilateralism, the failure of the “Roadmap,” the failure of the U.S.-orchestrated exclusion of the UN, and failure of the international community and the UN to intervene.
” The Gaza escalation demonstrates once again the need for an entirely new, international (not U.S.-sponsored) diplomatic process based on international law and human rights, aimed at ending the occupation and establishing equal rights for all, the only basis for a just, lasting and comprehensive peace in the region.
As it seeks to protect itself against phantom threats, the racist state becomes increasingly paranoid, its society closed and insular, intellectually limited.
I think the phrase “closed and insular” is telling. A nation dedicated to just one group of people is unnatural and in keeping everything/one out does not “protect” the people inside, but on the contrary, calls attention to its own superiority and cultish “specialness” status.
My Repig neighbor refuses to believe that I’m not supporting Hil Clinton for Prez. He insists that I can’t be a Dem if I don’t support her campaign. He swears this is true. He heard it on some talk show but can’t remember which one. But he says I’m lying when I say I have other preferences.
Who’s spreading this talking point? Ugh! :smack:
Heading out for the vultures at Kaiser to get blood from me. I’ll be back in later. Hopefully with a recipe.
Israel does not have support from most of Western Europe.. France and Spain both have large Muslim populations.. There politics have probably changed considerably since the 1960’s… One will have to see if they have any balls. :rant1:

In light of the fact that we’re on the brink of the next war – Painting Girl: I’ve got all of MS as mp3s. I can try emailing them but it might take forever. Are there specific episodes you want? Maybe I burn those to disc and mail them.
Lebanese Bloggers Forum via HuffingtonPost.
I feel sorry for the Israeli people. They must be scared as hell right now. I empathise with a society that is being led by madmen. It sucks.
My husband has a theory that the chimp being caught on the mike talking shit about Hezbolla and Iran was on purpose to make him seem like he knows anything, and to make him sound like a tough guy who is at the wheel when everyone knows he is a sad little monkey who is completely insane. wait…:ear:

Anything will be heaven! ANYTHING!!!
I’m trying to work on another MMS/MS Wake and AAR Premium is making me want to kill people.:growl:.

Air America sent out the following email announcment: ” Amy Goodman joins The Majority Report on Wednesday, July 19th at 8:06pm EST.” Wonder if this was the offer given Marc Maron? Co-hosting with Sam Seder? Hey ppl. I donno what I’ll be listening to on my way out-of-town tomorrow morning. My drives aren’t gonna be the same anymore. Guess I’ll wear out my Michael Buble CD! At least until Marc’s show is resurrected! Night Sheeple.
On the other hand: Maybe she’s just a guest on the show? Nevermind:doh:
XM has launched a new GLBT Talk Radio Show. “The Agenda” airs live every Monday night from 5 – 7 p.m. (Central Time) on XM Channel 200. And is rebroadcast on XM Channel 133 at Midnight Central Time/1 a.m. Eastern on Tuesday.
Dear PJSAUTER and Anyone Else (anyone that has an opinion:banana:) , What are the bad points? And if one wants to say anything about this, please feel FREE – Since I WANT (it sounds good) :D.

please don’t let Amy Goodman (who I adore) co-host TMR. I love her but she is such a buzzkill! 🙁 I may be shallow but I need funny with my medicine.

ps hello pjsauter (good blog) and farmerkat. Thanks for the welcome. It helps. 😐
Hey Druid, I got one of these. I originally used it to broadcast AAR via my Sirius receiver to every radio in my house (worked for about a half-block radius, so I could get it outside, too). It will run off of the a/c adapter, or on a battery (great for the mp3 player in the car – much better than those cigarette lighter ones you can buy – i have three, and they all suck). You can plug it into the audio out or headphone jack of your p/c, mp3 player, you name it – anything that has a 3.5mm headphone or audio out jack. There’s a little plastc cover you can pry off on the back, underneath which there’s an adjustment screw so you can crank up the output. I was the first (and probably last) afiliate in the Syracuse area.
You can get more powerful ones, too, if you need to go more of a distance – just have to be wary of FCC requirements and pissing off your neighbors.
Anyhow, personally, I would prefer something like this to the PC card, since you aren’t tied to the computer.
PJ, Rats (& I have rats:rofl2:), it may be NOT what I am looking for. My intent is a Computer/WEB Program?(or radio-type ONLINE Show…Bah HumBug
I was fearful it was going to cost a Zillion $.
If you want to broadcast your own radio over the Internet, you should look at setting up a shoutcast server. It’s free, and you can use your home pc and Internet connection, or, if you want to allow more users, there are places where you can host it (just have to pay for the amount of bandwidth you want). In fact, it would be nice to start a seditionists radio station, if we could get enough content for it, and if people wanted to chip in for the hosting fees.
That is the whole intent and I BELIEVE it is so possible…
and a Lobby Group called The Seditionists Party and similar “stuff” Thank You 😉
So, I got all these hits on my site from this boreamerica site which quoted me about marc’s show ending.
It seems to be a neocon site that devotes itself to slamming air america.
At first I was sorta horrified, but then I realized that the people who click on (and what I said is true…the bore describes me as an AAR supporter and doesnt use my name but links to my site with an underlined “Here”)
they seem to click around and go to different posts once they get there….
but I havent gotten any flaming comments (and thanks to Jill-Brilliant at Breakfast for the so very nice comment! Made my day!)
So, maybe its not so bad to be linked to by a neocon site if they then read a bit of this and that.
Just funny that the bore-guy is so desperate for information on how AAR is going down that he has to link to ME…as if I know anything…..I was just saying how I felt…I wasnt making a financial or business report.
Oh well….
Im gonna have to read…
Out all day in the heat and tomorrow is supposed to be worse. I spent quite some time talking to a Jewish friend who I ran into at the gym. She is semi orthodox and she and her crowd all go to Israel often…her husband dreams of settling there on the fornt lines of the settlements….she says that hes full of shit and would never make it. I brought up all sorts of things that she had never thought about logically…..anyway, its probably, maybe best not to talk or blog much about this stuff but rather continue to be a peacenick and very apologetic about America’s part in this and lack of action in diplomacy/stirring of the terrorism pot.
We gotta get back to peacekeeping and negotiating….
how can these warmongers have control of our country?
It seems that most of the ladies from the gym who go with their families to Israel every summer are still planning on going, as if this is gonna just get tied up with a bow and be over.
What is wrong with these people?
The worst thing is that they, none of them, seem to know the scoop on Lieberman, because they always blindly pull his lever because he is all abotu Israel.
In correspondent news (what I caught today anyway:)
I must say that little cutie (but maybe a little bit gay) Richard Engle is taking the bull by the horns as bureau chief in Beirut…Richie is showing off his very battered flak jacket….and doing quite a good job, totally unflustered in the boom boom smoke and scattering crowd footage. His hair looks perfect….
Im just happy that hes there and not Mr FK. I guess all of those guys somehow want to be right in the center of these things, but probably better that its him and not Mr.
If this is WW3, maybe Mr can get stationed at a spot that is a little less hot…isnt there a temperate enviornment that is war torn?
Maybe its the heat.
Painting girl, if you have AOL instant messenger or Yahoo messenger, you can easily transfer files. You can also do the bit torrent thing if those shows exist anywhere…but I have most of em too…transferring them all would be a big job…
Isnt anyone archiving them online anymore?
Maybe I will..when I get my page up…ha!!
thats after I apply the template that PJ fixed to my blog…and after I get a little sleep and then wash the boy, who is getting a little rank.
:tongue:I am Reading PJ and contemplating (and do not want to “bug” you (cuz there is not enough time in the day FOR ANYONE)) but anytime you want to “talk” about It (whatever it is) then 8) :billcat: …but I hope you are “dreaming”.
17 To Go
Howdy to all the newbies! :peace:
Kevin is probably in bed by now. Wake UP KEVIN, the world is ending!
Melina, 😉 (Rats home is smelling a bit “ripe” — now he doesn’t want to be called a Rat hehehe (Lead Balloon…:omg::doh:)) PaintGirl Good Luck …(said as Capt Klink…I knooow Nuthin’)
So, I was listening to Thom Hartman today on my way home and he was talking about the privitisation of our roads and bridges and that many/most/all/? are own by foreign companies. WHAT!?:omg::eek: Is this old news and where’s our cut of the sale of our raods and bridges. We paid for the damn things! Why would we DO that, this totally freaks me out.:rant1:
Painting Girl, I have all the MS shows there are to get. I have them all on disc right now. But I may need to sign up for a gmail account. Or I could put them on disc too.
I think I am tired now so lemme know, PG, on the blog tomorrow.
Kristta- dont even look into the privitization of water rights around the world….its a crime…
Ill bet Saudi owns all the major bridges and tunnels in America
Has anyone seen the commercial for the nick cage 9-11 movie?
I guess they figure its time or something….

:fu: These GODDAMN bastards are selling off EVERYTHING. This FUCKNUT named Bush is DESTROYING everything he touches. He is also trying to sell of our National Forests. We have entered an age where no one seems to care either. The Mexicans at least have the guts to DEMAND a recount. America is asleep, I really do not know if it will ever wake up. :fu: We must get active:jason::jason::jason:
Wurk’n:tongue:and a wee bit of Lurk’n:hubba: here mostly:and toooo much read’n:spank: AND FAR TOO MAY POSTS:eek:
 Good Evening Druid. I really like your idea of starting a webcast of Seditionists. It would be a great way to do what AAR lacks:fist:
moonlightman, Good Evening. So how are you:?: during a FullMoon Night.:?::billcat::banana::rofl2:
Wasn’t the full moon on the 11th?
I put in error, so reread, I think I got it:?:
See this has to do with my “electrical” :love:/:growl: relationship with the computer. I sent the correction and the “page” went down:growl:had to recheck and IT “SAID” IT NEVER WAS SENT:fist: … Com(puter) Act Properly or…Out The Window.:D:banana:
😆 I understand. Perhaps for you the moon is always full. I certainly hope so. 😉
:wink:You were talk’n about The/My City and the Promise Land.
First, are you in CA:?:I promise not to get tooooooo personal.:rofl2:
I will hold you to that promise. 😆 Yes the once golden state. It seems not too many here in the west.:(
I am I LOVE CA. I have gone everywhere in state. I did leave at a certain time and when I got over the border to back here, I fell to my knees and “kiss’d” the ground.
Thats how one is supposed to feel about ones home
🙂 I have been to a few states but I must confess I am slightly partial to california.
I am in Northern CA 😉 and 😮 “I’m In Town Now.” (Done with a “snapping” home-girl attitude cuz school was between Watts and Barrio 8) 😆
Wow must have been a tough school. Not a very gentle part of town (watts). Are you a “homie”
I was a “poor” starv’n student at ‘SC. (Oh I could be soooo nasty) ya know, “yea Trojans” 😮 and I am mostly a Celt but just found out my full “lineage”.
Where are you from, now, that I am talking ? eek
(I am now a misanthrope, since down south I was extremely external.)
I just have to say this. I wish Time wouldn’t move since this is the perfect time (for me) and the perfect weather. (Where I was at it was plus (105 degrees.:fustrate:)
Well, I guess it was not that rough, I was imagining some “inner city school”:rofl2: which I guess USC technically is:roll:. I am here sweltering in L.A. I guess i consider myself a misanthrope as well. Its become quite the concrete jungle here. You are lucky to live in SF.
Go wait for a bus at ‘SC around 12:00 Midnight-3:00AM and we’ll talk about “rough”. (This is a sarcastic joke dripping in truth = aka Lead Balloon humour = The joke doesn’t “fly”) 😀 …
:omg::rofl2:
I would rather be in Harlem than there:omg:
ALSO 🙁 I no longer live in My City (S.F.) but I do live up north. :billcat::D
OH the true NorCal:banana:
Where are you from, oh man of “mystery”. But careful we have many New Yorkers (or there about), here 😉
(Lead…Be Careful cuz “they” (the bloggers) know NY. Then there is always DHS a listen’n.:ear:)
I was born and raised in L.A. No NYer here:tongue:
Ahhhh many would sing at school…I love LA (not me:lol: 8) ) although I did marry someone from there. 😮
How does he like NorCal? L.A. used to be a really great place in the 60’s and 70’s. Newcomers are still wowed. I remember the “golden days” it was not so long ago. Just too many Goddamn people. See I am a misanthrope as well.:rant1:
The reason why I was asking so much is due to that symbol you (we) use. I lectured down there and at Fullerton State and San Diego and in certain departments regarding Religion and Philosophy (not regarding my degree). Are you in C.O.G. since I am a Wiccan (Witch) Druid? …or do you know of them? And really, I do not have much of humour, and the humour I have think is funny. But many don’t 😀
My passion is Philosophy and Religion but I do not identify with anything. I have somewhat studied them but truthfully found many “wiccans” to be creeps, more of a fashion statement than truly listening to the whispering wind. Many are on “power trips” and I find that a bit distasteful (well more than a bit). I would not put you in that catagory since you seem to have “walked your talk”. I just hate bullshit. It runs in every religion though.
He is down there working quite often and taking care of his elderly parents, whereas I can work out of here (home) which we are buying. I am also a Reverend in both Wiccan and Druid, so I like to make sure we are all “FINE”. (There is also a joke within a joke – some will Get:wink:.)
I recently went to the Getty Villa and experienced the Greek and Roman antiquities. I realized what was lost, and it made me sick. The dancing dolphins on the coinage and the honor of nature was amazing. They built gravestones for their beloved animals and lived with a respect and awe of nature. It is why I hate modern culture. It values nothing.
 Its way to late and the workday comes early. I must say goodnight.
I so agree with you and what you say. I promise I won’t pry much more. What were you doing in the ’80s or were you just a babe ❓ There is a reason why I ask. I used to, in certain media, speak.
re #172 Please go to bed. 😉 We have contact now.
I truly believe that those thrown to the lions were the neo cons. Unfortuneately they took over.:fustrate:
Night. Lets hope tommorrow is better than today.
