Glad to see WVU win. Also Cornell, who gets to play Kentucky in the Sweet Sixteen here in Syracuse. Should be very good for attendance.
I’m not sure the last time I saw so many white kids on a basketball court at one time as I did in today’s Cornell-Wisconsin game. Cornell reminds me a lot of Hickory (the high school team Gene Hackman coached to the Indiana State Basketball Championship in Hoosiers).
Speaking of HS Champs, my old high school won its third straight NYS hoops championship today.
I’d jump for joy, if I didn’t think it’d cripple me (more).
Let’s see, vote on HCR #1. 224-206 with 2 minutes remaining (one not voted). This, I believe is the first of three votes, which “approves rules for debate.” All “yea” votes by Democrats, of course.
