First off, this is really cool (though it would be better with an Android tablet). While there, I noticed this story about a new “porn-only” search engine that’s set to launch. Good thing, too, because it’s so darn difficult to find porn on the Internet. I also wonder how many requests to do people’s voicemail messages this guy has now gotten (and how soon can he do mine? Eat your heart out, Carl Kasell). I just got done watching Jesse Jackson on KO. I get a kick out of Jesse, ‘cuz listening to him reminds me of Bald Headed John from the Zappa classic, “Dong Work for Yuda.” I know, I know. I’ve gotta lotta chootspah saying a thing like that.
I’m getting to the point where I really need to bite the bullet and build myself a new computer. My “good” desktop is just getting way too old and slow. I mean, I think it’s, like 8 years old now, which is something like 80 in “tech” years. Like.
I don’t really want to spend the money, but I need something I can work on while watching HBO GO so I can catch up on Treme before I watch the finale that I recorded.
But first, you know, off to work.
Isn’t that batmobile a little low to the ground? What happens if there’s a rock in the road or a pothole?
I bet it doesn’t handle well in snow, either (always a big priority up here in the Great White North).
My best friend in college was named Marrone but I doubt he was related. He also changed teams and moved to Milan and became a banker.
Speaking of Kasell last night I had a double header. Someone gave me tix to see the taping of Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me (sperler alert-celebrity guest was Biz Stone) and then later Nellie McKay who Travis used to like to post here. Different but good shows.
Now I have to see if I can find what I missed of KO and the other shows that I try to watch. I may check out the O’Bama presser at 8 AM PDT. This budget drama has caught my attention since the Congress critter from where I used to live as a teen is Cantor Sore who seems to be making an arse of himself on an hourly basis. I am sure he is a big hero back in Richmond (while most privately are not forgetting the :rabbi: :sdavid: :menorah: thing).
Fox News finally addressed their parent company’s hacking scandal head on this morning, with Fox and Friends launching a comically sycophantic and pathetically inaccurate defense of News Corp. Host Steve Doocy and guest Robert Dilenschneider, a media consultant, agreed News Corp. Chairman Rupert Murdoch has done “all the right things†and argued that the scandal is way overblown. “For some reason, the public, the media, keep going over this, again, and again, and again†the guest said. “It’s too much,†he added, “We should move on.†Doocy agreed, scolding the media for not devoting its time to covering more important issues.

Apparently Men of a Certain Age was not picked up for a new season. F*ck you, TNT.
On the bright side, don’t forget Maron is on Bill Maher tonight.
Maher must be a real little guy cause Maron looked big and he’s pretty normal sized. (I hope Marc doesn’t see this- he’s a little sensative about being fat)
