Welcome to the semi-annual, “holy shit, I didn’t know I had this many clocks” day. I think I’ve gotten to about 2/3 of ours so far. Normally I welcome the extra daylight (or, rather, the daylight being back-loaded to the end of the day), but the thought of work being one hour closer than it ought to be is kinda bumming me out. I need to figure out a new way to make a living. Something I actually don’t hate doing would be nice. Or at least something I can hate doing from home. Not that I’m complaining of course (OK, well, yeah, I am actually complaining). I’m really only in it for the money.
I recorded “Game Change” – the movie about Sarah Palin and John McCain, aka, “Peggy Hill Goes to Washington (Almost)” – last night, but for some reason only got 9 minutes. So I’ll try again today at noon. Though I suppose I could get it on HBOGo. In fact, maybe I’ll give that a try now. It’s either that, or go find some clocks.
Ed Harris played John Glenn in “The Right Stuff” and now he gets to play John McCain in the “The Wrong Crap”. The makeup people gave Julianne Moore a creepy “eyes-too-close-together” look for Palin
I think the clowns are all being marginalized.
Last night SNL finally had the balls to go after Rush Limbaugh after all these years and managed to miss the mark. They should have shown him behind the microphone wearing nothing but diapers and sweating like a pig.
The Today Show never said anything about Breitbart’s death, which completely marginalized the stooge.

🙁 :gate:
I watched Game Change, last night. It certainly made McCain appear to be a principled person. Palin was portrayed as ignorant and nutty. It was quite watchable and it didn’t inspire me to throw things at the teevee.
Ditto #3. And McCain came across as lazy to me.
I was looking for the UP replay and found most of Game Change so I let it roll. I guess I once had some respect for McCain which has been obliterated since the election. It looks to me like he was playing the role of the ‘reasonable’ repug to get elected just like his little friends and now that they have failed they have unleashed their true unfettered characters. They are pretty much irrelevant except for their apparent open invitation to appear on Sunday morning booblehead programs.
