Whoopdie-doo, it’s Sunday. And Sunday makes me think of…. Well, let’s not get into that again.
Anyhow, on Press the Meat today, it’s the show that Fred’s been waiting for all year. Yes, a full hour with Hillary Clinton. I wonder if Timmy Potatohead will ask her if she’s sorry for staying married to her husband? Personally, I hope Hillary makes Timmy cry.
Since Faze the Nation can’t be bothered to update its website, I really can’t be bothered to try and figure out who’s on this week.
Over at Fux News Sunday, though, it’s the show all you ladies have been waiting for: the one, the only, that hunka hunka chunka burning Big Apple, Mr. Nine-One-One himself, Guidi Ruliani. He’ll be on to tell Weaselface Wallace all about 9/11, and how strong and marvelous he (Guidi) was on that day. And, of course, the really despicable Brit Hume an Bill Kristol, along with the relatively disgusting Juan Williams and Mara Liasson.
At Goebbels, George Snufalufagus boasts a double exclusive with the two most relevant men in politics: John Kerry and Newt Gingrich. Then there’s a roundtable with the WaPost’s EJ “Poupon” Dionne, news hacks Mr. and Mrs. Jay Shipman-Carney, and of course the man with no place else to go, George :jerk: Will.
Wolf Blitzer’s Late Emission is fair and balanced today, with John Edwards balancing out the empty suit Republican contingent of Magic Underpants Mitt Romney, Grampa Fred Thompson, and Huckleberry Huckabee. Plus, it’s Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, Tom Daschle, and Abdul Qadir al-Obeidi (Iraqi Defense Minister; how’d the hell he get in there).
Later, on 60 Minutes, Lesley Stahl talks to the 23 year old founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, who is supposedly worth $3 billion (for which, I officially hate him). Bob Simon tells us how we’re fishing bluefin tuna into exticntion, just so we can eat sushi (aka, “bait”). And Anderson Cooper tells us how rape has becoming one of the central weapons in the civil in the Congo.
All that, and a new episode of The Wire, too. Enjoy, y’all.

Good morning. :joe: :joe:
PJ, I love your Sunday round-ups. They are so much more interesting than the programs themselves and once I have them , I feel justified in not watching. Thank you.
In case anyone else is in a similar mind frame here’s something really interesting to watch:

Fred is BETA :pirate: :yippee: Danu’s Fav :pup:
Sue P. is GAMMA :dancers: 😉
Lincoln spent his day in Central Park and got great photos of Palemale and Lola, of course, a screech owl, a great horned owl a nervous squirrel and some others.
Well worth a look!
http://www.palemale.com/
God, those are great. The fist one of the screech owl is really beautiful. And the squirrel – kinda looks like the Alfred Hitchcock silhouette caricature from Alfred Hitchcock Presents (if anybody remembers that).
I.P.A. – It’s not just for breakfast anymore.
Newt on TV? I still want to know how come he isn’t in jail. After all, he was run out of Congress for committing a crime. I didn’t even read about the trial.
So, Project Smart Vote has something call the Political Courage Test, where candidates are asked to answer a survey on what positions they’ll support.
First off, there are a shitload of people who are at least nominally running for president.
Second, of the major candidates, there are only two who had the political “courage” to answer.
Can you guess who?
First, you can rule out the Republicans. Not Guidi. Not Freddy. Not straight talkin’ Johnny. Not Huckleberry. Not even good old Ronny Paul.
Democrats? Not Hillary, not Mr. Change. Not even Dennis. Just John Edwards, and Mike Gravel.
IPAs, my current favorite. Tried several of the ones they list. A shame they didn’t head up to Middle Ages Brewery.
Sue P, YES! The pixs were great ❗ I especially adored the first one of the owl …and of PaleMale reclaiming his nest spot and have building. And where is that COMMENTARY Karim wrote of which you spoke of. I saw his beliefs within his words within his many lil stories 😉 …A!I!V! :pirate:
is the secret in Fish oil that if you put some on you you smell so bad none will come near you so it minimizes the possibility of communicable diseases ?? :tap: :tap:
The problem with all mainline politicians these days is they live a world where “reality” is weeped up and shoved under a pretty carpet when they are in the room.. The police won’t take their escorted convoys into the part of the city where even the police won’t go after dark.. down by the railroad yards where they have turned vacant warehouse into shelters for the homeless and the Salvation Army and other public and private aid groups feed quite literally thousands of people in soup kitchens each night.. The politicians ( even Denvers popular mayor) have instructed their police to make the the homeless disappear so the democrats can’t see then hence they don’t exist.
They have learned well from Rudy and how he cleaned up NYC.. Just paint over the problem and it will go away.. Eventually it will work like the paint over the cracks did for that bridge in Minneapolis and it will come crashing down around their ears. :tommygun: :tommygun:

I remembered PotatoHead Twit Tim with Hill and now SAM’S Show :pirate: :yippee: 8) A!I!V!
Hello all. Yesterday’s protest was fun. those gathering of eagles whacko’s are absolutely out of their minds. All of them deliberately trying to provoke violence during the rally.
Druid, I was referring to all of Lincoln’s commentaries He does not like people. He rails against electric lights, ballooons, pot smokers, the list goes on and one. He likes kids and he obviously likes birds. But, I can’t take his misanthropism too seriously because he chooses to live in Manhattan, where all the things he hates are ubiquitous.
But, whatever he says, he is an amazing photographer. My vet says he was trained as an engineer and got into photography because of his “relationship” with Palemale. All I really know is that he was born and raised in Trinidad and clearly has little or no social life as he spends most of his free time photographing the fauna of Central Park and occasionally, the other boroughs.
Posted a couple of photo’s from yesterday. Check out the GoE signs.
It seems logical that when the political party where fellow rethugs follow their leaders mindlessly becomes the international bully who goes around intimidating other countries so they can turn around and kick them in the groin ..that the followers also do the same thing.. We had a couple of those in high school.. one day at a hockey game about six of us picked each one up and stuck them head first into a fifty gallon drum… All you could see was their feet kicking.. to bad it wasn’t half full of water instead of Just three day old garbage. :tap: :tap:
Don’t politicians ever learn anything? Now they are all screaming the economy needs a stimulus. Not one of these idiots remembers something like that takes at lest nine months to work through the economy. By then either the recession is over or the problem is so big $50-80 billion won’t matter.
Analysts published by BBC News estimate up to $3 Trillion have evaporated from the U.S. economy in the last 2 years due to the bad mortgages to people who couldn’t qualify for a secured credit card, disaster clean-up and the disastrous wars. Wish I had a link to that article. I didn’t have one single word about the graft and corruption wrought by the Republicans, the land grabs in the gulf states over the last four years and the misdirected federal relief funds given to big business.
hey im gonna be in syracuse tomorrow………
