Can’t say as I’m exactly 100% here but I reckon I’d better give work a shot today. Haven’t had the nerve to look at my e-mail, but I’m sure they took the opportunity of my absence to pile things on. This will no doubt be one long day.

:yippee: :yippee: :yippee: Another Thursday morning with free Donuts and orange juice :yippee: :yippee:
But … ( notice there is always one of those )
:yuck: A Thursday morning with at least three ( maybe even four or five ) hours of utter boredom interrupted only by moments of pure panic 😮 when some one asks you a question .. known as the … wait on it …. Thursday morning meeting :growl: 😮 😯 😯
PJ, :dancers: :pirate: :yippee: :pup: :cat: 😉 Now go remind how important you are :pirate:  … It is good to take a day or so off to remind how much they NEED you … I am surprised they did not try to call you at home every 5 min…… this is why you now should probably call in again and take weekend off….and become …WFI…
100% :pirate: :yippee: … :fist: A!I!V! Is RAGING G. Better also I hope … can she take any time off? 😉
In the world of business these days getting sick is a good way for management to see how one of those temporary workers work out .. :tap: :tap: I think about half of our accounting dept is in India … 😮
PJ, I’m so glad you’re feeling better. Take it easy, today.
Fred, why do they serve orange juice at the meeting? Don’t the believe in the restorative value of coffee? Or are they afraid if they provide such stimulation that you’ll all get restless and leave?
Have a good morning, everyone. :joe: :joe:
So far at least management hasn’t figured out how to track down a broken wire or change out and reprogram a temperature controller or a fluid level monitor or figure out why a machine thinks left is right and right is up ( wiring harnesses made in India too no less) by email at 2 am :tap: :tap:
Oh….
Coffee is always free .. and quite plentiful …Donuts and orange juice on the other hand 😮 :reaper: :reaper:
Well I have to go see if I made the machine performance reports obscure enough that only I understand them and begin to bail the stuff together in preparation :reaper: :reaper: blog with ya all later
Fred, I must say I know what sheeple means :rofl2: :spank: :hubba:  and I ain’t 😉 :peace: …A!I!V! :rofl2:

Jeebus. Our Thursday morning meetings usually run an hour, but they feel like three. If it actually DID run three hours, I would probably spend the last half of it trying to slit my wrists with my nail clippers. Which would make it difficult to lift my glass of orange juice.
Dru…up and atom. :pup:
Must fly north today where it’s friday all the time
kp watch out :bee: :tap: ! and your :pup: too!
SBlueHeron, *fly* Blu to Friday :dancers: I was going to get nasty But it is not Friday. 😯 I wish I had a Radio Station. Marc All The Time :fire: :pirate: :yippee: :dancers: … :fist: A!I!
I know some of “folks” here would be perfect for the radio … Even PJ could talk of anything even maybe PC Pirate Radio, Aye Aarrrr
Up’n atom
fred, we need to keep pushing for the mushroom cloud emo. @=
I did see a blue heron flying over the car this morning :knit: haven’t seen any whales yet though. :tap:
😡 fred you come to fort collins we have dinner 😀
Heh. I wondered why Sam was on for Randi last night.
Sorry if that was old news, but I’ve been out of it for a few days. Still feel like crap, too.
I DON’t Care how someone TEASED Me about liking Children of Time by 2002c.e. …… that it is New Age … I am going between Pink Let’s Get This Party Staerted and this ……. I also heard Snow White Queen by Evanescence …. Dancing as Romerica Burns but I Have Power & Peace of The Dance. :reaper: :dancers: A!I!V!
Oh Amy W Tears Dry On There Own Video Constantly all tunes………. :reaper: :dancers: A!I!V!
Blue 8) Cool… 😉 :knit: :fist: A!I!V! :rofl2:
Gee, she just seemed funny to me. I guess that means my video cameo will now disappear.
Looks like new yeller Sam Seder will be subbing again today and Randi will be heading back to Florida soon.
Don’t f* with the Clintons.
Wow, I didn’t know Randi was suspended. It sure was nice to hear Sam, yesterday.
Wow, I didn’t know Randi was suspended. It sure was nice to hear Sam, yesterday.
I do not know why that posted twice. 😳
I for one had no idea, course I don’t really listen to her that much anyway.
I thought public officials were immune from what ever they were called … Must be some DLC connection to AAR ( in the case we didn’t already know that by the hospice care for the rest of us format they adopted .) .. :fist:
Its interesting what the Reich can get away with but not the left :reaper: :reaper:
Have a rotten banana … :rant1:
I went out for lunch with a friend and when I got back, Sam was on and they did say something that sounded like trouble was afoot :tap: at AAR but in the absence of SammyCam, nothing was revealed.
This does have the smell of PR scam about it.
Glad to know in advance Sam is on today. I really like his BS.
Maybe this same relationship is why the Denver station has two elitist and not very liberal local talk show hosts ( Marvin collects sports cars and Marich is a member of all the upper crust clubs .).. The Clear Channel station complex of which KKZN is a part also has KOA ( 50,000 watts) and KHOW has no less than six or eight Reich wing hosts ..Do you suppose that maybe there could be some corporate promoted censership .. :reaper: :reaper:
Isn’t fascism wonderful :tommygun: :tommygun:
You can apparently hear KOA for 1200 miles in any direction at night .. fortunately the Rockies started playing this week so the tons of :crap: normally heard at night is some what limited . :rant1:
fred dude you gonna come to fort collins?
It is very simple folks … there are 1/2 of DEM’s not allowed freedom of speech … we have (many) gone silent and are PULLING Premium Monies … I listened 24/7 damn near, as I write … and ALL didn’t give a damn about our Free Speech — THEY of AAR & Nova M are feeling it …. They went to the answering service and will not QUIT those of us DEMANDING TO QUIT. I didn’t pull card, since I wanted all to see I ONLY WANT RING & am 50/50 on Bill Press. He is a whoring & weak Aries. Put someone of POWER. I want MARON! — and do not give a DAMN about Seder any longer, since he PROSELYTIZED (Lauren hmmm also) OBAMA and did not give those as me — fairness of VOICE. Twits. 3 strikes and they are OUT… unless ALL OF AAR & NovaM apologized PLUS BLOG AT SEDERVILLE…. this was not the time to DIVIDE — so now it is Gore & Clinton, and put in a strong place for Obama, to see how HE votes. IF NOT I WILL NEVER VOTE AGAIN… and it was those decades worth of voting members they are alienating & defranchizing young to old US. Twits, Jerks :jerk: that they are.
That is MY Opinion! A!I!
WE ONLY HAVE THE TWO (2) BLOODY STATIONS …. AND WE ARE 1/2 of the DEMS. 🙄
You’ll have to hate Maron, too, since he also prefers Obama. But then you should like AAR, because they suspended Randi for calling Clinton a nasty word.
Oh, it’s all just so confusing….
But Maron, even last time, WILL LISTEN and JUDGES FAIRLY … He just hasn’t heard the other side, yet. But HE HEARS LOGIC! There can be a bit debate but HE ALLOWS VIEWS, when He hears. He is going through hard times now, Marc is — but at least he mostly hears.
Sam is a Loud Mouth Ass…. do you even remember him trying to take off Maron’s name first. I was one whom wrote him before, when he tried and while MOST on Sederville was supporting him. I said that Maron had the name and around then he put back Maron (synchronicity). He , Seder, keeps trying to move Maron to 2nd place. Maron has (and worked) the Name. I had NEVER heard of Seder before Janeane. :reaper: :dancers: A!I!
seriously obamas the nominee or theres not a snowballs chance in hell of the dems taking the white house seeing as there is no way hillary is winning without overturning the will of the people as expressed in the primary process*
*she could win the rest of the primaries by an average of 65% and do it but come on we all know thats not happening
Words to Words I disagree. All is askance since Obama and his “folks” have had free media and a easy path since the rethugs are leading the other 1/2 of dems (Obama folks) by a nose-ring as many besides me states.
I will NEVER vote for him thanks to mostly Sederville folks and the LIES which OBAMA and… have done — one-sightedness and threw those as me (1/2 of DEMS — and PROVEN VOTERS) to the curb. I am not amused… 3 strikes they are OUT in whatever way I can proclaim the WRONGNESS! :growl: A!I!
Maron and Seder are interchangeable even though different in many ways. I prefer Maron but Seder is great in his own ways. If anything, Maron jumped the Obama train earlier than Seder after he saw him in Austin.
As for Randi, I am not a fan but to have her disciplined for something like this is just antithetical to what AAR was supposed to be. Just when you think they can’t get any worse and you can be even less interested, they drag you further down.
The Clintons and their ilk and their tactics can’t be gone soon enough. They will ultimately screw this thing up for all of us.
sean, not sure I understand #35.
I do not think this is fair — IT IS WRONG TO ALIENATE 1/2 of DEMS… It is Hurtful not giving ALL types of DEMS a chance to speak, as many such as me. AND Vernon, if you are so unfair and uncaring to The Freedom of Voice TO 1/2 of DEMS … well that just speaks exactly the situation, MISTER Vernon. It Is Called Fairness.
there are 2 stations … not hundreds: Nova M & AAR…. of that Ring of Fire and weakly Bill Press were somewhat fair. All other programs were “wicked” towards Sen H. Clinton and Obama STEALS committed delegates so thus she now. Your side whined about Hill when she hasn’t even did. Obama said for her to step down, now mostly Obama folks ….. this past weekend are saying it. PJ or Fred probably know the answer to what I asked at Sederville…”Whom was the man that became President and he went into DEM Convention with much the 2nd place stance as Hillary?
I’ll give you a hint … he is a Libra.) A!I!
Giants finally won a game. :yippee:
MISTER Vernon, Read the above: It Is Called FAIRNESS …i.e. BALANCE! A!I!
Of Course you wouldn’t SEE or Hear……. you were/are not the 1/2 of DEMS disenfranchised. :growl: A!I! 🙄
S. Miller , a STUPID and idiotic Libra also from ‘S.C. (dad probably paid for a B.A. & did not make it on as a (‘F.A.) Talent.)…. must pay also, although she did back off a bit, but not enough…. I was a boss numerous times in my life, also. She/they was/were given many chances and that Aq Randi would not STFU, ever. When one alienates 1/2 the clientele, that does not bode well…A!I!
…also lest one forgets …on Sederville I was called Rethug, Stupid, and my favourite a LIAR!!! (plus More) — even when I could back info up. And then others started posting pro Clinton side. And at least showing the good & bad to both and I was NOT the only One stating a BALANCE!
So, what happened with Randi? I’m so out of it. At least I have time to come out of lurkdom.
🙄 what about the people that will be disenfranchised if the party elite overturn the “popular vote” by selecting hillary themselves at the convention? i think thats worse
then again reading back i am totally confused here
😳 druids gonna hate me now 🙁
SeanMS  😉 :slap: we just disagree and I believe All should come back, but I have to get ready to go . … I have to run a few errands :omg: A!I! I said my Piece & You said Yours…”All’s Well That Ends Well” 😉 Sea-Ya *poof*
Randi was suspended for her comments about Hill’ry and Ferraro at an event at a nightclub in SF. Something about fucking whores. She was essentially doing stand up.
Sean, I deleted a post because the terrain kept changing ex post factoid. I hope that did not confuse. I’ll try to stick to sports and pop culture from now on.
Sam’s always been very open to allowing both sides to speak. I’ve never heard differently. I see very little difference between Obama and Clinton, except Clinton’s campaign has become very Rovian, particularly since I voted fro her in NY. I am honestly at a loss as to seeing Obama as a demon. If anything, he’s too middle of the road for me. The biggest problem I have with him is his lack of a mandate for healthcare. Hopefully we the people can change that if he gets elected.
I think that Druid has a point. It is foolish, at best, for Dems who favor Obama to alienate Dems who favor Clinton or the other way around. I don’t think the problem is a reasoned argument against one or the other, but rather the taunting of the supporters of one or the other.
United we stand, divided we get McInsane.
So, Randi was saying something outrageously satirical OFF-AIR, and they suspended her? WTF? As desperate as I am for decent lefty radio, I’m more and more disgusted with the management.
AAR is shooting themselves in the foot just like the Hillary campaign.
:nixon: hillary is basically done she might gain 5 or 6 delegates by winning pa but that still doesnt put her within striking distance of obama of course she will argue the “momentum” is with her and therefore she should be crowned by super delegates as the nominee………
there comes a time when you have to just accept defeat and move on but you know why she wont because she never wanted to be my senator in the first place she announced her presidential run mere days after her re-election she new she was running and had no business running for re-election she only ran here the first time to gain essential “experience” and keep her profile up for her eventual presidential run
hillary just like mccain has for years had not a damn thing on her mind but the presidency they think this country owes them the office but thats not so step down and let the new guy in town do his thing answering that 3am phone call
I cannot see where this so-called ‘alienation’ thing is coming from but I don’t hang around the big blogs. I don’t hear the Hill’ry voice being shut out from progtalk. Unfortunately, too many of her mouthpieces just haven’t mastered the script reading thing yet. It just reeks of the
whininessof the clintons. Oops. I mean theinsecurityor thesense of entitlementor something like that. Why, especially now, I favor Obama, is the same hope that pj alludes to above. I think Obama is the candidate more likely to hear and respond to the people/ :sheep: le. I think Hill’ry and mccain are deaf in that regard and that it is all either about them or theirs.
and what seanie sez :fist:
As long as we’re throwing around the term “disenfranchised voter,” let this officially disenfranchised voter throw in his two cents.
Once Edwards dropped out, I stayed on the fence for some time. Although I was leaning in Obama’s direction, I was willing to listen to both sides engaging in debate.
Sadly, for the most part this did not take place, as the junior senator from the great state of NY chose to undergo a mud-slinging campaign of Rovian scope.
This, more than anything else, is what put me in the Obama camp. Hillary is turning into what she is supposed to be opposing. Her Bushiness is growing more visible as she becomes more desperate. The sit-down with Scaife was pretty much the last straw for me. Is her memory so short, or more to the point so selective, that she doesn’t recall what he did to them ten years ago?
If she gets the nomination, I’ll vote for her in November, because Walnuts Warboy must be kept out at all costs. But the party can’t begin the healing process as long as HRC continues to shoot herself in the foot.
And one more thing…
FREE RANDI!!!
:fist:
I’ve come to think that maybe – just maybe – Obama will actually live up to his promise. At worst, I think he’ll be about the same as Clinton would be. At best, I think he really might be able to change some things. I’m willing to cross my fingers and hope he can live up to his potential, heal some old wounds, and make the US a little less hated around the world. I’m actually way past being disappointed these days, so that’s not even a problem.
I’m somewhat conflicted. As a believer in free speech, I hate to see somebody taken off the air for an off-air personal appearance. On the other hand, I much prefer Sam to Randi.
Sam was very contained and reserved today and there was no SammyCam even though there was no good reason. I think he was uncomfortable with having to engage with his camfans in the honest way as is his norm or had to mind his p’s and q’s.
Remembering isolated things said by George Bush, Dick Cheney and other members of the Bush-Cheney Administration about oil prices and energy conservation, combined with their ties past and present to the oil industry there is a very high probability that the current economic situation worldwide has been deliberately engineered. Oil prices are the result of a monumental conspiracy, a well-devised plan, a con job to match no other crime in human history. The evidence is so plain when viewed in its entirety that most casual observers do not realize the greatest crime in human history is happening in front of them. Most people do not see the whole picture, just the isolated bits and pieces the way the culprits desire us to see them. It is a case of not seeing the forest for the trees. Bush and Cheney are swindling the entire planet! Unfortunately, this most diabolical conspiracy is the culmination of decades of destructive Republican attacks on the United States of America, the American people and the American way of life.
Part 1 of 5
First, the ground must be prepared, plowed if you will, ready for seeding. Reaganomics in the 1980s paired with the vaunted Republican deregulation policies laid the groundwork necessary for this scheme to work. If there were diligent watchdogs in our society and government this conspiracy could never happen. These policies have been devastating for the American people.
The Reagan Administration created a monopolistic business environment leaning heavily in favor of corporations over the American people. Government metrics measuring aspects of our society were drastically altered, no longer rendering valid data in employment, income or economic growth. Managed health care maximizes insurance and pharmaceutical corporation profits at the expense of health care itself. An independent Fourth Estate was functional eliminated.
Other insults perpetrated by the Republicans and “conservative†during this period include a gutting and/or elimination of the clean air and water acts, automobile fuel mileage standards, safety standards in many areas, tax credit programs enacted to nurture alternative energy research, slashed infrastructure investment, slashed education investment, slashed taxes for the higher income brackets prevalent, a standard prevalent in all Republican fiscal policy and fair and impartial U.S. court system. Functionally, our system of checks and balances has been demolished. Truth has suffered a continual assault from the right-wing as have science, scientists and scientific methods.
The primary goal of Reaganomics, of course, was to maximize corporate profits. A major requirement to do that was and is a cheap labor force. The best way to do that was to maintain a substandard minimum wage. Republicans managed to do so for almost ten years. Millions of U.S. citizens are kept in poverty, a number now growing at an ever increasing rate due to Republican fiscal policy. An additional factor used in maintaining a cheap labor force was to stop enforcing immigration laws, admitting millions of illegal workers. This policy has shifted construction wages downward, driving many skilled, gainfully employed Americans from the industry. One news report from Raleigh, NC, told of law enforcement personnel visiting a construction site on the state fairgrounds. When the officers pulled into the parking lot hundreds of construction workers dropped their tools and ran, some fleeing across an interstate highway to avoid arrest. The construction site had to close for a time due to a lack of workers. The officers were looking a single individual.
As a party the Republicans have not studied history and have not learned the lessons of the 1920s. Those who do not know and understand history are doomed to repeat it. They also apparently missed the historic fact that conservative societies usually end on a bitter note, often violently, always painfully after the usual abuses of power and lawless governmental officials can no longer be tolerated by an oppressed citizenry.
Part 2 of 5
In 1994 when Republicans won control of Congress the last supporting piece required for a scheme this ambitious to succeed was in place. Republican Congressional leadership could and would obstruct any attempts to thwart future policies or actions of a lawless Republican Administration. Quickly building a reputation as a “do nothing†Congress, a Congress controlled by Bill Frist (R-TN) and Tom DeLay (R-TX), a Congress that worked three days a week if it needed to or not, everything was in place for an oil industry swindle the likes of which may never be possible again in human history.
George W. Bush and Dick Cheney came to power in January, 2001. It is not the intent of this commentary to argue whether the Bush-Cheney Administration was duly elected in November, 2000. We most likely will never know the truth about what happened in that election. Republicans were in charge of too many ballot depositories and too much evidence was destroyed regardless of federal, state and local laws. Suffice it to say the legitimacy will be questioned by scholars for centuries. Bush-Cheney did not win the popular vote, but were proclaimed the winner by Republican court appointees, thus killing the myth that Republican governance is democratic or a fair and balanced court system in the United States. As an aside, if the Electoral College can thwart the will of the people – majority rule – then it is an imperfect mechanism that has outlived its acceptability to a democratic people.
The opening act of the Bush-Cheney Administration evident to the American people was an energy task force called to a secret summit intended to write public policy. Attendees included many oil industry executives. The policy statement released in May 2001 by the White House called for more drilling, more crude oil production and less conservation. When asked about this summit and the resulting policy, the Administration refused to give any details. In other words, the Bush-Cheney Administration’s first illegal act was also their first act. All public policy summits, hearings and testimonies are also matters of public record. Today the Administration has still failed to produce any record of this historic illegal action. This set a precedent for the remainder of the Administration – undesirable laws would not be an obstacle or even observed as being law.
At this point in history it was the duty of the Dennis Hastert (R-IL) lead House of Representatives or the Bill Frist lead Senate to step up and exercise some oversight, some form of check and balance, forcing the Administration to adhere to the laws of the United States and defend the Constitution from this first phenomenal abuse of power. After all, that is one of the primary functions of Congress in a three-branch system. As expected, the Republican Congressional leadership rubberstamped the Administration’s illegal actions, thus becoming accessories to any and all abuses great and small that would follow such as Mr. Bush’s signing statement scandals.
Part 3 of 5
The near collapse of the ineffective Bush-Cheney Administration very early in their first term was averted through the unexpected and monumental collapse of their national security policies – during National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice’s watch – on September 11, 2001, precipitating the ill-advised and illegal invasion of Iraq in 2003 after a less than successful invasion of Afghanistan in October, 2001. Many Americans still believe the Iraqi invasion was a Bush-Cheney attempt to seize Iraqi oil reserves, but the incredibly incompetent mismanagement of the post-war occupation puts that claim to rest. No government as disorganized and so utterly unprepared to handle any form of crisis could have ever considered the idea of seizing the Iraqi oil reserves so blatantly in front of an astounded world.
Tensions in the middle-east prove useful, though, if one’s goal is to drive up crude oil prices and therefore petroleum prices in the United States. Contrary to what the world has since learned as the truth, the Bush-Cheney Administration launched their war of aggression on Iraq. Oil prices began their climb. The Administration obviously had not planned on the Iraqi insurgency; however, the escalading violence served two purposes in the program to boost oil and gas prices in the United States. The first purpose was to elevate crude oil prices as OPEC and other nations struggled fruitlessly to lift crude oil output. The second purpose was to act as a smoke screen directing public and media attention away from other fiscal policies.
Beyond the political rhetoric and Bush-Cheney campaign-style claims that everything was running perfectly well for all Americans, Administration policies lead from one crisis to another, each one answered with repeated fear mongering from the Administration and its adherents. These crises have managed to keep attention diverted from the Bush-Cheney energy policy, a policy of maximizing oil company profits. Massive damage to oil infrastructure in the Gulf of Mexico in 2004 elevated oil prices under a somewhat legitimate claim of supply and production problems. Hurricane Katrina in 2005 poured more smoke into the screen.
One incident reported by multiple news outlets is most telling. About the time U.S. gasoline prices topped $2-a-gallon to stay a reporter asked President Bush on the White House grounds for a comment concerning gasoline prices. “Get used to it,†was the comment. Was this a White House policy statement or just wishful thinking on a Texas oilman’s part? Whichever, it gives the American people real insight into Mr. Bush’s loyalties and priorities, and it is not the best interests for the American people or business outside the oil industry.
Part 4 of 5
As economic pressures mount in the United States due to increasing costs for everything due to higher gasoline prices the Bush-Cheney Administration accredits the United States economic woes on a negative trade balance. Part of their solution was to launch a program of devaluing the dollar against world currencies. The dollar was at its highest value in January, 2002. Since then the decline has been stead if not unrelenting. This continuing action is to make U.S. export goods more competitive in the world market. That claim may sound plausible, but thanks to Reaganomics the United States no longer manufactures consumer goods traded in world markets. Almost all consumer goods sold in the United States are manufactured in China. What the United States exports are high ticket items, military equipment and rhetoric about democracy. Since crude oil is traded in US dollars this policy tended to further inflate crude oil prices world-wide.
With bad unregulated, unethical and possibly criminal business practices catching up with the housing, banking and investment industries the Bush-Cheney Administration has begun a program of interest rate cuts. Key rates for overnight loans to banks are down to 2.25% from a peak rate of 5.25% a year ago. Consumers are not seeing any of these savings passed on to them with mortgage rates having dropped approximately half of a percentage point and some credit card interest rates have risen. Similarly, bond yields are down. And as a result of these rate cuts the U.S. dollar has lost even more value in international markets, which in turn has driven inflation to almost 10% in the United States since all our consumer goods are now imported along with much of our food supplies.
With interest rates just above 2%, inflation may soon jump into double digits with no end in sight. It is inconceivable, hopefully, to think no one in the Bush-Cheney Administration understands the effects of their fiscal policies are driving the dollar down, inflation up and crude oil prices to almost daily record highs. Alternatively, it is possible that every member of the Bush-Cheney Administration really is as incompetent as they appear. Either that or this fiscal policy, from which the Administration refuses to deviate regardless of advice to the contrary, is actually accomplishing what it is designed to do, drive oil company profits to record after record, especially considering the huge tax breaks the Congressional Republicans granted the oil companies the Democrats repealed in January, 2007.
Part 5 of 5
In a quick inspection of the Bush-Cheney Administration it is difficult to find any federal branch that functions as it was designed. The list of departments that work would be much shorter. Failures below the cabinet level include FEMA, Homeland Security, FCC, FTC, USDA, EPA, IRS and the FDA. The State Department employs a mercenary army operating under the name “Blackwater.†Under the direction of the last three Attorneys General the Department of Justice hasn’t managed to uphold any federal laws at the Constitutional level. Attorneys General have openly refused to perform their legal responsibilities when requested by Congress. Coincidentally, the targets of requested enquiries have all been Republicans and members of the Bush-Cheney Administration. The top two members of the Bush-Cheney Administration continually circumvent the laws of the United States, by 2008 no longer try to hide their illegal actions from public view knowing they will not be held accountable. Corruption has become the rule in the Bush-Cheney Administration.
In recent years notable Republicans departed Washington, some surprisingly in mid-term. Senator Bill Frist did not run for re-election. Dennis Hastert resigned from the House of Representatives in November, 2007. Trent Lott (R-MS) resigned from the Senate in December, 2007. Newt Gingrich was forced to resign but still hangs around town. Tom DeLay is elsewhere awaiting trial. Interestingly, none of these men or other Republicans have made a single attempt to reign in this lawless Administration. Therefore, they must be parties to crimes being committed.
In conclusion, with petroleum prices detrimentally affecting the United States and world economies the Bush-Cheney Administration could alleviate the suffering of the American people. However, their fiscal policy exacerbates the problems high petroleum prices are causing around the world. Instead of acting to alleviate these detrimental economic conditions the Bush-Cheney Administration is putting more upward pressure on crude oil prices. The entities gaining from this worldwide calamity are oil companies. Since Mr. Bush and Mr. Cheney both have ties to the oil industry it is apparent that their actions are planned, premeditated actions to accumulate huge wealth in the oil companies regardless of the economic consequences to the United States. This is a monumental crime going beyond traitorous acts against our nation but crimes against all of humanity. They could not act alone but must have hundreds if not thousands of highly placed co-conspirators at the highest levels of the government of the United States of America. Those conspirators masquerade as The Republican Party, a known right-wing terrorist organization whose fiscal and regulatory policies over the past 30 years have damaged our government and American society irreparably
I haven’t had sleep, but I do have my beginning reading glasses…:
You speak & show the history well … but we have to do something.
I bring this:
Cops & Courts arrest & sentence people on far less that what is already proven. Why can’t they be taken now before bush and/or cheney goes in the two directions … South and far East……? I have SEEN people arrested for LESS!
Does any one know the Gentleman that WON The Presidency by Super Delegates voting against the “grain” in a 2nd Place position worse THAN Sen Hillary Clinton is now? Anyone?
HINT: he is a Libra….. as Carter, Marc, Janeane .. :fist: A!I! :reaper: :dancers:
I just heard Obama …. I am not moved by a passable actor —
Obama speaks “words” BUT NEVER SAYS HOW he plans on doing ANYTHING.?! I told you, Gore or no one! I am tired of being battered by folks here and there. 🙄 :fist: A!I!V!
Hey PJ,
I’m listening to Jeff and something just happened that I am confused. About 8-10 minutes before the end of the show he got a call, some guy asked him about why he lied about Sheriff Joe Arpaio and something, I didn’t hear it all. Well, Jeff just basically hung up on him with no word at all and moved on to the next caller like nothing happened. It was really weird. If you hear his show, listen for it. It was weird.
Wow all hell breaks out on the blog.
sometimes I think that this air America thing is a big
hoax. I wonder who really owns it now.
they have taken away nearly all of the truly progressive voices. Not quite but nearly.
No matter what I already feel disenfranchised
back to the apathy… But can’t quite shake the feeling that this is all part of the rovian plan.
it pissed me off that aar is such a dismal failure
most of us who were once loyal listeners have given up.
And I feel like I listened to every word of first randi then the Marcks
.
Fred are you going to meet Seanie Sean????????
:tap:
And yes, I heard you Druid. I think you’re taking all this way too personally. You are confusing opinion with fact. Fact: Hillary Clinton lied about getting shot at in Bosnia. Opinion: I think it sux that Hillary Clinton lied about being shot in Bosnia. These talk show hosts espouse their opinions. It’s their job. I hear Jeff, Sam and Stephanie all bend over backward to let Clinton supporters speak and just because they disagree doesn’t mean they’re not on the same team, but you hear what you want to hear. Keep your eye on the ball. McCain is the ball.
NCBlue, is that all you? If you have it all in one doc or a link, would you mind e-mailing to wvmc3d(at)sbcglobal.net?
Thanks. The basketball tourney does not start for a few days. Sorry Davidson lost. That would have been a fun game.
Malloy is going off on AAR About Randi and the whole AAR debacle.
Sounds like Maddow will be subbing for KO tomorrow night.
Sounds like Malloy is ready for a break.
Malloy does not have good things to say about Al Franken. Apparently, Al was embarrassed by Malloy’s remarks about Israel and his rantings, and wouldn’t allow Mike’s promos during his show..
Geez, I consider Malloy somewhat mild.
KP, I do not like being lectured by one with total Obama Bias!
I. THEY BOTH HAVE LIED!!! :tap: 🙄 The following will be explained more but I need TEA since I have had very limited amount of sleep. Yet, by all means I will come back with my tankard filled with the Hot Brew — Now do not forget 503c6…. and I will remind how OBAMA LIED! A!I!
Fine, then let’s all vote for McCain. 🙄
501c3:
One of the most powerful advantages of applying for the IRS tax exempt 501c3 status is for the purpose of receiving tax-deductible donations and being waived from paying Federal Taxes…(continued regarding further applying info……)
Kp, caught some of the 1st hour of MM on NovaM. I think it delay casts here at the top of the next hour (Green 960). Thanks. His ‘producer’ is pretty funny tonight. Wants Mark Green to sue them.
Sub schedule for Malloy sounds like Peter Werbe tomorrow and next Friday, Seder Monday, and Maron Tuesday-Thursday. Sounds like a good week.
I ask if you understand so far, cuz most in Sederville has to hear again to understand? … that is a Law in I.R.S. ……
I do not understand what you are saying? KP are you just throwing your view and expects me to what …. ?
Druid, you are putting so much energy into fighting Obama and I think you should be putting that energy into fighting McCain. Everyone should. If anyone is getting a free ride in the media it’s him. What side are you on?
YOU KP were the FIRST to say FIRST!!!
Fact: Hillary Clinton lied about getting shot at in Bosnia. Opinion: YOUR WORDS …. I again only act as DEFENSE! :tap:
I have a difficult time understanding what you mean, Druid. It seems like you are taking a victims stance. I don’t care if you support Clinton or Obama, we just have to beat McCain. That’s all.
OBAMA First Lied about the Reverend Wright’s, rights and hearing him break 503c1 ( which I too could have LOOK ABOVE as to the amount through the decades I LOST because I WENT BY THE LETT of LAW
— BUT it is the fact that Rev Wright’s words came to the forefront, since most evangelical ministers say the same….so this case is growing, but lessens not the errors and lies of Obama..
So, this depression we’re in is really taking chunks out of me. I’ve started rethinking what I spend my food money on and one of the things I am questioning is the need for “dog food”. I’m not proposing to starve my sweet Nellie, of course. But, I realize that I don’t always eat everything in the fridge or on my plate even. Dogs have been living off of our scraps for thousands of years. When was dog food invented, probably the 50’s or 60’s? Well, I’ve started feeding my dog half of the dog food that I normally feed her and I supplement with fridge leftovers and what’s left on my plate. She’ll eat anything! My question is, would it be bad to feed my dog slightly moldy food? I’m sure that’s what she was eating before she got picked up by the pound.
KP, How could I be the victim when it is you running from a fight YOU STARTED FIRST — BY Calling Hillary the ONE and ONLY LIAR, when in truth she was not.
I DON’T start any of these bloody riffs, but I will not run from a “falsely wrong” fight.
Keep your eye on the ball. You’re getting petty. Who fucking cares about what Reverend Wright said. I, most certainly don’t. A friend of mine says there’s lots of stuff about Obama and I don’t disbelieve him, he hasn’t sent me any links but, we have to keep our eye on the ball. McCain. I’m sick and tired of this in fighting. Keep your eye on the ball. Put your emotions aside and keep your eye on the ball. Keep your eye on the BALL. McCain.
And I didn’t say Clinton was the “one and only liar”, you said that. I just gave an example off the top of my head of one lie by one person. You make too many assumptions.
KP, I wouldn’t feed the dog moldy food. Molds produce toxins and they may make the dog sick. Vet bills are VERY expensive.
It’s sad. I think most Obama folks will vote for Hill’ry though a lot of his excited political newbies might revert to apathy. On the other hand, if Hill’ry is not the nom, I think a lot of her people will vote for mccain and a lot of that is racial and spite. Those reagan dems. What are ya gonna do?
Eye on the ball is a good way to look at it. This madness has to end soon and Hill’ry will not be the one to do it. For them if we have to have 4 more years of Bush so she can return to the WH, it’s all good. The hell with any of the rest of us. Too bad.
Congrats to the Buckeyes, NIT Champs. :yippee:
Okay, Sue. I just figured dogs have been eating our scraps and garbage for longer than they’ve been eating dog food, maybe their bodies are adapted to it. I’ll just stick with the food I know I’m not going to eat that’s not moldy yet.
You Mentioned Liar First — get it right KP! I NEVER would have brought up … YOU SAID FIRST which started me RESPONDING TO YOU!
REPEATING: You Said Liar First…..

These Are Your Words KP. I never started and I only responded……
So what? You over reacted.
Keep your eye on the ball. We need an emoticon for that one, PJ.
Senator Hagel on Iraq and the GOP:
“I am concerned about the [party still holding on to Iraq as an issue],” said Hagel. “If for no other reason than the political factors here are quite obvious. This country has made a decision on Iraq, and as you see now in any poll, even a minimum of 25 percent of the registered Republicans cannot support the president’s policy in Iraq. You take that with the independents and Democrats and you have anywhere between 60 and 70 percent who want out. So you can’t politically sustain this and any party that uses this as an issue when they are going in the face of where America is, is not going to do very well politically. That is just the facts of life.”

Kristapea, You know what they say in Psychology about the way one uses “You…. you …you”? :rofl2: So what? You over reacted. # And yes, I heard you Druid. KP Just stop and grow “and keep your eye on the prize ” 😆 ……
Vamanos, Jose’s on his way
Yes, we can can
If Barack doesn’t nail this one down, I might have to change my mind.

evening gang!
just catching up.
i’m in semi-lurk mode.
Well, it looks like Seder will be doing Randi tomorrow and maybe into next week. You know, I wonder if they would have done this if Marc or Lizz or Sam or Chuck D or Franken had done a performance somewhere that was problematic?
i think management of AAR was always a corporate control scam with their hands on the off switch if the studio ‘punks’ got out of control.
actions speak louder than words, especially nowadays.
