Nice to wake up to the sound of birds singing in the morning again. Too bad they have to come with black fly season (soon to progress to deer fly season) and thunderstorm season (which scares the dog) and too damn hot season.

I am awake. :joe: :joe: I’ll need a couple of extra cups of joe, this morning.
Clifford, the cat, seemed to be doing better yesterday and when I spoke to my lovely vet (she calls me from the place she is vacationing) she said the thing she was most worried about was the vomiting, which he didn’t do all day. Then, a 2:30 this morning he threw up some bile and that ended my sleeping for hours. I finally got back to sleep around 6 and that was short lived because by 7 everyone was ready to be fed.
It was nice to hear from you, PJ, even if the subject was the progression of seasonal plagues.
Seems gloomy out. Must be gonna rain.
My mom says there are earthquakes in Reno.
Krista, when I was in California, eons ago, there were people talking about buying property in Nevada which they thought would become waterfront after a California earthquake. :tinfoil:
They have been having swarms since Thursday and finally had a real jolt or two. It must be God’s revenge for Johnny Cash shooting a man just to watch him die.
Better birds than SNOW. ๐ก :tommygun: :jason: :fustrate: :rant1: Winter needs to GO AWAY. :growl:
Had to do some upgrading. I think I have everything working again. Dogs are getting impatient.
If anyone listens to Randi, can you tell me if her show is different now that she is at Nova M. When I hear it, she sounds like she has a bunch of people around making noise but not really contributing and substance. Was it that way at AAR?

Apparently Nova M has a bigger budget for mics, because now when Randi has conversations with the other people in the studio, you can hear them as well instead of just her. She had the conversations when she was with AAR, you just couldn’t hear the other people involved.
She sounds happier and looser these days, as if she has a large weight off her shoulders. A couple of days this past week she was downright silly.
She’s off next week Monday through Wednesday due to moving from NYC to WPB. No word as to who or what will be filling in, or at least if she mentioned it Friday, I missed it. Not Sammy, obviously. Maybe I’ll listen to the Young Turks to see what Cenk is qvelling about these days.

Geologists have always said that the Sierra Nevada mountains were “new” mountains if thay had realized they hadn’t finished their growth stage would they have suggested that a third of the SBRs population live in or near them .. ๐ฎ ๐ฎ :reaper: :reaper:
Yesterday, in the wee hours of the mourning, I needed more milk. While waiting to (rarely) purchase some non organic but local milk, a man weaved and fell. I was helping up a homeless man who had fallen. Yes he was drunk, I noticed as I carried his bag and helped him out of the store. I hurried him a tad since the dear Indian man at the counter had called the police. As we got outside he sat and could not move much, with a badly sprained or fractured arm … (he even had a hospital tag). His body was really battered, was the truth. As I helped to put what he Purchased in his bag and on his back I reminded him that “that much liquor was not good for him.” “How he wished he had marijuana”, he said in his stupor. I said he was absolutely correct. He beamed, as I said I was dearly working on getting “marijuana” legal, soon. Yes, soon, I said in my mind, confirming I needed to work harder and faster for him.
Tea Cheers but I need to Brew More Tea … :pirate: :yippee: :joe:
That’s all I can stand, I can’t stand no more. Bill Press is it … and getting my work done. :smack: ๐
Okay, I do admit:
For NOLA and surrounding areas of similar traumas alone … then I would vote Obama, for something different, hopefully to help NOW! Yet more compromise: ALREADY on ad for “newCoal” on ARR HOME page to environmental responsibility on The Obama Nation/Flanders-AAR for Nuclear Power and New Nuclear Plants.
For getting the young involved … 8) …
However, IT IS HILLARY THAT HAS “The Answer” regarding the Nuclear Future.
I fortunately know many young, even in Arizona, who are for HILLARY … :pirate: :yippee:
Druid, didn’t Barney Frank just introduce legislation to make pot legal?
Hey, I’m thinking of trying something a little different for sedition radio. If you get a chance, can you try going to http://www.morningseditionists.com/sedradio/ and let me know if the stream starts automatically, and if the page loads and all that (especially those of you with Macs). If you’re using IE, you’ll probably get a security notification that the site is attempting to download a file. Anyhow, let me know how it goes (if you normally can’t get it to work, then don’t bother, because this won’t be any different).
Thanks.
Yup, PJ, works like a charm.
It worked on Firefox on PC.
Cool, thanks.
pj (or anyone), any idea where the AAR archives went, shows and blogs?
So is Randi going to be broadcasting from a NOVA M station in West Palm beach or is she going to be like Malloy and have a studio in her spare bedroom ?? :tap: :tap:
Didn’t Seder take over responsibility for the AAR web site ?? Setting up a new site from scratch might have broken a few things . :tap: :tap:
Randi si working out of the studio she was at before moving to NYC. Her stuff was still there.
AA Place had the stuff but it appears to no longer be there. It may be at the new AAR site but all is empty right now.

I think that with the shortening time table for dealing with CO2 emissions one has to invest in known technologies .. Unfortunately with the destruction of the middle class in the SBR almost no one is going to have the $$$ to put solar on their house and buy an electric or hybrid automobile . Nuclear power produces zero ,zilch, almost no CO2 emissions ( other emissions some of which bare the “radioactive” lable yes but C02 no .) ๐ฎ ๐ฎ
Nuclear power develped using light water ( uranium fuled reactors) is unsustainable .. Politicians being generally IDIOT MORONS may make the wrong choice but time is running out . :reaper: :reaper:
Poor Kevin and Drid ( depending on how far above sea level she lives in SF) should begin now to look for good deals on hip waders :tap: :tap:
I don’t know, Vernon. Looks like AAP no longer has the archives. Maybe the new AAR put the kibosh on it. I think you have to go to AAR and go show by show for the ‘free’ shows. And no free archives anymore for non-free shows.
The city and county of Denver legalized the possession of small quantities of MJ but since the feds did not the police seem to be quite confused . :tap: :tap:
#10 — Dru, you have a heart of gold. Who knows what that poor homeless guy’s life story is — I am always curious about what gets people to where they are. The karma element that melds with the free will and unawareness element of our beings makes this life journey such a challenge.
You rock!
It is now officially dandelion season — they all popped out today, so I have been gathering dandelion recipes and will gather some dandelions tomorrow. I have decided to attempt dandelion wine . and Dandelion Green Fettuchini — and maybe Dandelion Poached Eggs —
I don’t think I’ve ever poached an egg — this would be a first. Too bad PJ is allergic to eggs.
Mamma Mia!! :priest:
If it doesn’t snow tomorrow, I will be out gathering the dandelions from the lawn before my Nazi-cuckoo Prunezilla neighbor poisons them with her hate-stare and, :priest: forbid, her stinking Weed & Feed. Bitch. :growl:
I do not understand such hate of naturally occurring plants and the need to poison and kill what you don’t like instead of finding reasonable ways of dealing with it. :smack: :reaper:
Evening all, man it’s been a rough week. Now my fridge is crapping out.
:holla:
Maybe it’s all the time I’ve taken the Lord’s name in vain when I stumble across TBN.
Why is it so hard to do? :tap:
Uh-oh. The fridge is one of those necessity things.
I think it’s got something to do with money, Travis. The people who are making tons of money off the way things are don’t want to do anything different. So they take some of that money and buy off the government to make sure nothing changes. And then they make even more money.
And the hell with everyone and everything else.
:omg: Uh Oh AAAqman!! You are in BIG trouble :omg:
Tea Cheers All …. :rofl2: dandelion wine ahhh
hic Arsenic & Old Lace ……… teehee;)
RAGING You Rock :alc: :rofl2: :fist: A!I! ๐
and Sue P. ….(see I am playing nice Soup hehehe okay bad me :spank: ) next post ……….. ๐
Sue P. yep, it (hemp/mari) legislation has been building for decades. Momentum has been “growing” and waves since before first publishing of “The Emperor Wears No Clothes”.
As one knowing a secret of the cat, I worked and also by “watching” and “kept on keeping on”. I so hope it will be Barney’s Bill this time, but there have been SOOOOOOOO many others working to keep the Hemp Issue in ALL its shards, forefront, including me in my small way, that kept The Torch Lit throughout the decades and “waves” upon at times it dimmed . — (leaping metaphor :smack: ) now the form is forming, now to just keep chiseling away at the Stone, year after year after year.. :pirate: :yippee: ๐
Shops ration sales of rice as US buyers panic
The global food crisis reached the United States yesterday as big retailers began to ration sales of rice in response to bulk purchases by customers alarmed by rocketing prices of staples.
Wal-Mart’s cash and carry division, Sam’s Club, announced it would sell a maximum of four bags of rice per person to prevent supplies from running short. Its decision followed sporadic caps placed on purchases of rice and flour by some store managers at a rival bulk chain, Costco, in parts of California.
Okay Fred and/or PJ , why is this idea wrong…
STOP WAR IMMEDIATELY!
Half money to pay off debt and other half to feed the world, including house and feed our homeless, in this America..
