Didn’t get a chance to see who this week’s boobleheads are. I’m pretty sure whoever’s on, they won’t be worth watching. Have a good Sunday.

❓ ❓ Whatever :sheep: le
😯 😯 FIRST AGAIN 😯 😯
No bobbleheads! I’ll have to take it on faith that they’re not worth watching because I never have the stomach to watch anyway.
On AAR’s homepage was the announcement that Sam and Marc would be on in Randi’s old spot. They described Morning Sedition as the very popular Morning Sedition. I wonder if that phrase gave them pause.
And…Don Cazayoux, the Democrat, won the special election in Louisiana, taking a seat the Rethugs held for 33 years and in spite of the anti-Obama ads that they tried.

Almost eight years after al-Qaeda nearly sank the USS Cole with an explosives-stuffed motorboat, killing 17 sailors, all the defendants convicted in the attack have escaped from prison or been freed by Yemeni officials.

Morning all.
Dave Lindorff: The Bush Family’s Bad Latin Real Estate Investment
Back in late 2006, it was widely reported in the Latin American media that President Bush, or perhaps his old man, had bought a 100,000-acre farm in a remote area of Paraguay.
What struck people at the time was the choice of country. Paraguay, of course, has gained a certain Club Med status among the world’s villains and criminal elements as the place to go when the law’s on your tail. The country, ruled for six decades by the dictatorial and fascist Colorado Party of Gen. Alfredo Stroesser, an almost cartoon caricature of a Latin American dictator, has no extradition treaty with any nation.
McInsane’s preacher, Hagee, on video:

BORED by those endless replays of the Rev. Jeremiah Wright? If so, go directly to YouTube, search for “John Hagee Roman Church Hitler,†and be recharged by a fresh jolt of clerical jive.
What you’ll find is a white televangelist, the Rev. John Hagee, lecturing in front of an enormous diorama. Wielding a pointer, he pokes at the image of a woman with Pamela Anderson-sized breasts, her hand raising a golden chalice. The woman is “the Great Whore,†Mr. Hagee explains, and she is drinking “the blood of the Jewish people.†That’s because the Great Whore represents “the Roman Church,†which, in his view, has thirsted for Jewish blood throughout history, from the Crusades to the Holocaust.

I am working on an article for a goodly newish forming periodical in the area regarding …… wait ( 😳 🙄 ) for it ……
whatwait ( ) for it …… wfi ……666 … and I was even talking about “The Great Whore” and I am also adding being called the Great Whore (but to me it was representing ALL Women) … it was during the time I was a Public Info. Officer for certain Organizations in the ’80s so I was easy to yell & send horrid threats to … so super 8) :pirate: :dancers: :fist: … :rofl2: … :billcat: A!I!
Can’t remember who the rest of the Boobleheads were this week, but a couple of shows stood out:
Press The Meat with Timmy Potatohead: Barack Obama
This Weak with Corporate Stooge Snuffelupagus: Hillary Clinton
I taped HRC and watched Obama. First ten or so questions were concerning Rev. Wright, no great shock there. Obama knew they were coming and answered them with no great drama. I made the mistake of watching it in bed, so I probably drifted in and out a few times, but don’t remember hearing anything of great import.
MSNBC reruns Press The Meat at 6 PM and 2 AM EDT, for any of you who missed it or slept through parts of it, like me.
I’ll watch HRC later, maybe after Family Guy so I can put it in its proper context. Peter Griffin… now THERE’S a candidate.
:rofl2:
Hate to be serious, but I cannot get NBC channel so unable to watch Sen Obama on NBC; therefore, Snuffe-whatever with Sen Clinton. I am still undecided, but definitely sticking up for H. Clinton and if I must decide, again she was amazing and talking with DEMs, REPs, & INDs, of many colours.
I will try and find NBC broadcast and watch Sen Obama… later also :pirate: :pup: :cat: … :knit: :fist: A!I!

Link to MTP netcast and transcript here but I’ll tell you all you want to know.
MR. RUSSERT: In terms of climate change, global warming, you’ve talked about wind and solar and biofuels.
SEN. OBAMA: Mm-hmm.
MR. RUSSERT: What about nuclear? All–in all realistic assessment, don’t we need more nuclear power in order to wean ourselves off of those same fuels that are contaminating the world?
Story continues below ↓advertisement
SEN. OBAMA: I think we do have to look at nuclear, and what we’ve got to figure out is can we store the material properly? Can we make sure that they’re secure? Can we deal with the expense? Because the problem is, is that a lot of our nuclear industry, it reinvents the wheel. Each nuclear power plant that is proposed has a new design, has–it, it has all kinds of changes, there are all sorts of cost overruns. So it has not been an effective option. That doesn’t mean that it can’t be an effective option, but we’re going to have to figure out storage and safety issues. And my attitude when it comes to energy is there’s no silver bullet. We’ve got to be–we’ve, we’ve got to look at every possible option.
You know, I’ve said the same thing about coal. I have a aggressive goal of reducing carbon emissions, and coal is a dirty fuel right now. But if we can figure out how to sequester carbon and burn clean coal, we’re the Saudi Arabia of coal, and I don’t think that we can dismiss out of hand the use of coal as part of our energy mix. What we are going to have to understand, though, is, is that global warming is real, it is serious and that whatever options we come up with, if they are not addressing the fact that the planet is getting warmer, then we are failing not just this generation, but future generations.

no plans or answers … just more talk. 🙄
Nuclear iz da Futureee & gosh, so iz COAL
…I will listen to Sen O if you listen to Sen C ….hmmmm???…A!I!
Nothing to talk about. I gave you your talking point and point of concern to confirm your deepest, darkest fears. You’re welcome.
Kinda hard to get into heavy details on MTP in that format. btw, I hear plenty of Hill’ry. I have not yet heard her hyper-specific plans or answers on those issues anywhere but maybe I just don’t know where to look.
I actually listen to just about everybody, even those I don’t entirely agree with cuz I’m broad-minded.
Update/Reminder
In the AAR time slot formerly known as the Randi Rhodes Show, this week Sam Seder will be hosting Monday and Wednesday and Marc Maron will be filling in Tuesday, Thursday & Friday.
Contrary to previous word, Friday will NOT be a Marc and Sammy show but they should be doing the regular Maron v. Seder on Tuesday.
Wow All I was going to say is: try as I will I can not get video of Rusty to play  so I will try later………..
but now … OOOOOOooooooOOOOooo just your opinion and your view points … You should peruse Sen Clinton. She was Very Powerful and Decisive!
(…and I was going to ask you and Fred for help EEK — since I found out some foreboding news regarding Energy.. but I know not to ask or even think to give my opinion.
…Sen Clinton on Snuff-e-whatever was EXQUISITE regarding REALITY and Directions.
Sen Obama’s said overall exactly what Sen Clinton has been saying. It is the other issues that I also must hear further truth. 🙂 :dancers:
A!I!
There was no opinion or viewpoint, just a quote and attribution, which you may not have recognized, that actually support everything you have said about O’Bama. I made no comment whatsoever.

A!I! okay, let’s get real … Okay Ye Obama Lovers, He is transforming weak dems, young dems, Nader DEMS, non-consistent VOTING DEMS, rethug-ites, and Indys — why should I believe them over steadfast DEMS…
I feel the ones super-whatever delegates switching are the weaker DEMS and believes Obama’s Nuclear superfluous :crap:
.. :crap: A!I! I also need to be “playing” and making more tea and bury a Dear Gem of mine…the Dear GemRat Diamond.
Eldest Daughter by seconds … all the Daughters with tumours (yet in their 3d year}. Born of the Mother Dharma & the Father Karma. Gem is a Sacred Term in Buddhism. 😥 8) /|\ :gate:
Maybe this is the real problem to worry about.
McCain calls for 700+ new nuclear plants (and 7 Yucca mountains) costing $4 trillion
Sorry about Diamond, Druid. :gate:
I’ll bet AAR is looking to put Marc on but not Sam. They are sooooo stupid.
I’ve just drinking in the video’s of Hillary“promising cross her heart, hope to die” that she will OBLITERATE Iran with nooklear weapons if they attack Israel. My but she certainly has a couple of big ones.
If you never got to see the video, ‘Bama was saying how that kind of language doesn’t help. He’s also shooting down the idea of the stoopid idea of getting rid of the gas tax so that ‘Illary can completely pander to the (ahem) what one of her advisors refer to as “the white niggers” or blue-collar voters of Indiana.
Please tell me, how can you defend that? Where’s the noble cause?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IMWgqmoOndA
art, Seder said today from watching War Room itself rather than the YouTube that it was clear to him that they Kantor was referring to the people in the White House and not the Hoosier folks. I found that clip very inconclusive. That is an opinion.
Yeah, it was hard to tell for sure since he was whispering. If you go to bartcop.com (a strong Hillary supporter) he sez they were pulling one on us. I didn’t realize it was from a campaign 15 yrs in the past.
Druid- just to be clear- I’m going to vote for the Dem nominee whoever it is. We can’t afford a rethug in the WH again…., in our lifetimes. Don’t you agree?
Personally, I’m afraid the wright reverend wright has done in ‘Bama. What an assclown. 🙁
I have to say you might right, art. The racists in the country and in the Hill’ry camp have been waiting for the moment where they would have enough cover to “call a spade a spade” and the rev gave them their opening.
I think O’Bama will still win the nom but the HillBillys have pretty much done the repugs work for them and ruined the best chance we had. I hope they will get a lot of satisfaction from their destruction because they should be scorned by the party for all time for what they have done if we end up with mccain as president. If they manage to steal this one, I’ll vote for her but after that, they will be dead to me. Should she win the White House, I may finally have the window to dabble in third party politics. I find them hideous now.
McCain is not the problem … getting the correct one in to run against him ..Aye now that’s a problem   :rant1: 🙄 .. :knit: A!I!
First, regarding Sniffy-whatever and Sen Clinton dealt with this very question regarding
OBLITERATE Iran with nooklear weapons if they attack Israel.
… and please what prejudice … please, I am in (at this second) in the Clinton camp …again What Prejudice? Am I? :rofl2: … :fist: A!I!
I don’t think I was talking about mccain’s problem’s. That’s pretty self-evident. I just like people who take responsibility for what they’re saying.
I like BartCop … but mostly just like you or I — aka our opinions. BartCop is regarding The City (& my area) Area but this election is regarding The Nation!… :fist: A!I!
I think the numbers I was vaguely dealing with were 19 (Vernon’s) & 22 yours, Artnorton… 8) .. :pirate: :slap: 8) :growl: A!I! 😉
